Ceon nodded and slowly admitted the painful truth, "She...umm...took the kids and left....for good this time." Ceon wiped his head a a bead of sweat began to roll down from the tension inside him.

Jaden seemed far more collected now than his normal temperment dictated. His mind was drifting back and forth to different things while still trying to keep the black door closed.
There was the mental note to check in the direction that Daiguren had vanished too for a moment, the wolfen ears he couldn't get rid of having some usefulness even though he couldn't tell right now if he could hear a heartbeat or not. It wasn't that concerning truthfully.
Thoughts did play as to whether he was actually supposed to kill Ceon now or wait a bit to find out what had happened. Clearly something went wrong but it wasn't obvious whether it was something he should be butchered over. Right now most of his aggression was focused on Daiguren.
Slowly he craned his neck to see the demon boy at a different angle, his lips still curled over his fangs. "Then I suppose you have some information relevant to this conversation, otherwise I'll consider it that you brought me out here to insult me and let you know what my frustration feels like when translated into a language of broken bones and ruptured organs."

Daiguren_Hyourinmaru "So what is the purpose of mighty Alpha Lycan to the pack? Your just going to let your pups be experimented on and raised by humans as pets or even slaves?" Daiguren's eye changed from there golden shine to the original crimson red they once were. He vanished for a moment from in front of Jaden and the others. "Stay quiet and still madam huntress and non here may attack you." He whispered in Meredith's ear then was back before Jaden could speak again.
"Those like you and I have seen many wars and battles, massive and minuet. Those scenes made you stronger yet look at you now. You either need to learn to stay strong for your purpose or move from your seat and let another of your kind who can do what is needed."
When the demon manifested back to his former location with the lycans she merely observed as she'd initially planned to. The demon's words didn't comfort nor discomfort her. As long as they didn't harm anyone that was innocent then she would be fine to leave them be. Meredith wouldn't hunt them or open fire on them without a reason but she wasn't about to leave in case she needed to be here. For now she was just an observer, watching, waiting if she needed to take action. She wasn't afraid of these lycans and demon and she wasn't about to be intimidated by them either. She was a senior hunter, no longer did she cower in fear of creatures of the night.

The demon smiled at the alpha's comment, "To start with the news of our existence hasn't spread world wide yet and with a favor from a watcher the others are being taken into the subway before they vanished." He eyed the lycan as he spoke. "I have seen into one mans soul, or rather half or his soul. One side was a normal human, the other held darkness within it. It showed long halls with cages and doors. It seemed very bright almost as if the sun was cast from the lights." {{Simi he was gone before you even turned around, so he didn't hear any of what you said. And he's a speed demon so to conform he didn't use magic or anything like that for his moments }}

Veroen appeared into the area without using his stealth, in a little bit of a rush. So many things unanswered, so many blanks unfilled. He recognized many of the beings that currently occupied the park. Though they were his enemies, he was slightly relieved to know that there were some things that were the same.
He made no attempts at communication with any of them. instead, he silently stepped closer to the scene, and stopped about 20 yards away from everyone, and leaned up against a nearby tree. Arms crossed, he observed everyone, noticing that it seemed as though he was the only vampire in the area.
He recognized Jaden, remembering his old cause. He did not act upon seeing Jaden, for that would have to wait for a more suitable time. He also recognized Daiguren. Another he had once wished to destroy. He noticed the other two lycans as well, remembering them from before as well. Ah, it seemed as if Meredith was here as well, concealing herself. He remembered her as well. But something about her was different...She had been a vampire like himself from what he remembered...but now she had warm blood pmping through her veins...Human blood...many things had changed indeed. He slightly chuckled to himself, not bothering to conceal his presence. This was not a time for stealth. He wanted answers, but he silently waited for the appropriate time to figure out what the hell had happened to the city in his absence. He listened to the conversation between his old enemies, Jaden and Daiguren. ((uhh, hey everyone. havent been on since like august, but i'm back now. what happened to the guild...? its like, dead. lol))

Razu sighed as he turned his attention back to Daiguren,"Dai-chan. First tell us your information. Then tell me who you think could take Jay's position because I can not think who else could take over!" For some reason the comment bothered Razu. It was unthinkable that someone was even capable of being alpha even more so that Jaden wouldn't be there to fill the spot.

Ceon grinned and muttered under his breath, "Someone who actually thinks first then kills." Ceon was pretty amused, Razu followed Jaden around like some sort of crazed fan-girl. And that was another thing, Razu at many points spoke for Jaden.

Veroen watched the slight conflict between the Lycans and Daiguren. It wasn't quite a conflict, as much of an argument, or so it seemed. Veroen pondered what to do, for he was eager to know what the status of the Alliances were. He decided to test it. He approached the Lycan, whom appeared to be Ceon. He morphed into the shadows, and reappeared out of a shadow of a tree a few feet away from Ceon.
"Hello mutt." he said bluntly to Ceon, hands and body relaxed, definitely not in any sort of attacking stance. Things were different in this city now, so he might as well adapt to the situation.

Ceon turned and cocked an eyebrow in confusion at this new person walking into the scene. He could tell by the figure's pale skin and use of vocabulary on him that he was a vampire. "Watch your tounge, bloodsucker."

Veroen slightly smiled at the corner of his mouth at the Lycan's remark. Some things never change. He always got a slight kick out of an excange of small insults between himself and a Lycan.
"You would be smart to do the same." He muttered to Ceon.
"I'm not here to cause trouble. Not today. I am simply here to confirm my beliefs. I have been...away..for quite some time, and i was just attacked by a large squad of what appeared to be FBI agents, as well as civilians. My guess is that the humans have gotten smart about our existence. My main question, which i can kinda guess by your lack of interest in attacking me, is are the races still at war? Or have more things changed than i thought...?" Veroen looked at ceon somewhat suspiciously as he asked him this, not yet used to talking peacefully to a Lycan.

Jaden growled slightly but otherwise remained calm in an attempt to keep himself contained. "I would like more accurate information from you Daiguren." he said with a slight tremor in the back of his vocal cords as he relaxed slowly to the situation. "I mean, it's obvious that you need me, otherwise you would have done something yourself already."
With that said Jaden finally turned to Ceon. "Okay then. Since you seem to have someone in mind go get them so we can decide who is the strongest in the pack. Otherwise shut up and contemplate at how weak you must be that you can't keep your own mate and pups with you." His ears flicked slightly but other than that he didn't change his stance.
"As for you." he looked at the vampire. "I will not hesitate to kill you if you irritate me so watch what you say."

Veroen smirked at the alpha's remark towards him. Obviously he had no memory of Veroen. Veroen did not shift his gaze, nor did he put up a defensive assassin stance. He had no interest in fighting Jaden anymore, like he did long ago. Things were not the same.
"My entire life was once based on killing you, dog. Do not think for a moment that i havent watched and studied the way you fight, or your habits. I know your style. You would not succeed, i can assure you. My intent as of right now is non violent. But if you wish to continue our encounter as you are, I will not tolerate it."
Veroen ended the statement with a slight glance in the Alpha's general direction, not exactly sure what the alpha male would do. This was supposed to be a somewhat peaceful encounter, yet the alpha male did not seem to share the same thought.

Ceon smirked as Jaden sneered at him, "You're one to talk, Jaden. Your mate is gone, and you don't even have a pup of your own. And you seem to be losing more than a mate, seeing how your the alpha and more and more lycans are being captured."

Veroen couldn't help but mutter a laugh at Ceon's remark towards Jaden. Oh how this city had changed indeed! Not only was he in the the middle of a conversation between 3 lycans, a demon, and himself, but now one of the Lycan's was standing up to his own Alpha male!
'Quite a turn of events....' Veroen thought to himself with a smile in the corner of his mouth.
He chuckled again at the thought of what had just occured. He leaned his head in Ceon's general direction, and muttered, "Ouch.." with a slight grin.

Ceon turned quickly and let loose a roar at the vampire. He was digging a deep enough hole as it was. A vampire backing him up would only make it worse, and with Jaden it could lead to many deaths.
