Alasdair Alasdair’s violet eyes fell on Cosette after she spoke. He narrowed his eyes and smiled sarcastically. “If you continue this disrespect I will have to get serious next time.” Alasdair replied while he smiled. Both she and Luther must have realized he did not use the void for anything, and they can’t be stupid. Alasdair survived over five hundred years of battles, he could have crushed the inexperienced fighter.
Then Alasdair looked back to Luther and stood up. “Luther…I want the finished product by the end of this week. I want fifty vials of the drug…The finished drug. If I am not pleased you will die.” Alasdair was completely cold now. He was growing tired of Cosette and Luther. As soon as he finished talking he began to walk towards the street. Though she had been trained to perfection by real life struggles amongst numerous procedures in which she had to conceal herself in order to survive, Hideyo didn't bother to mask her present form eavsdropping on some fellow vampires. She was certain they were capable of being sharp enough to ascertain she was there to eavesdrop on them with the drop of a hat but they were also distracted by putting on their small little spectacle that only they were meant to behold. Of course, they had an extra spectator who effortlessly saw through the veil in which they masterfully shielded their intents with.
So these were to be her supposed allies. Definitely conceited and all about their personal gains, no one needed to tell her that for all of them betrayed it in their mannerisms that they struggled so desperately to hide. Hideyo was all too aware that this was their stage and they were performing their hardest, after all, they were not only performing for their fellow vampires but for the entire city as their audience as well as an unexpected and jaded spectator who had not been so deeply enchanted as to forget all these people were hired actors and actresses. They were in this for their own greedy reasons and though they were beautiful to watch on stage, all the charm that emitted from them was merely an illusion, a deception, an apparition, a feigned mirage.
The over analytical vampire decided to take her chances and gamble with the threads of fate and intertwine herself with these seemingly complicated individuals. It was easy enough to serve as a shadow and even simpler to become someone else's reflection. "Conbanwa," Hideyo greeted Alasdair with her flawless smile that caused her wise mahogany eyes to squint just the slightest as she did so, "mister." Her manners were perfected and in no way did she seem condescending, merely confident and equal. "It's a fine evening, don't you think?" She asked politely, with her soft but melodic voice that could make a mockery of any beautiful singer as her question almost turned into a verse from a seraphic song.
There wasn't anything particularly out of the ordinary with her this evening. Her hair was her normal auburn colour and the length was just long enough to dust her slender, pale, shoulders. She wore a cozy turquoise blouse lined with lace and some comfy but cute flats with matching turquoise ribbons to accompany the fitting outfit. To keep things generally simple, her jeans were merely well-fitted and gray with a black studded belt to add a small bit of jazz to the outfit. Though it was a cute outfit that definitely suited her small and slender form, the outfit belied how truly flamboyant a bombshell she could become when she thought it was fit to be so.

"Ah, you underestimated me. Tsk tsk, da~angero~ous." Amelia said in a quiet sing song voice. "Ah, full moon. I can see the bunny in it." The moon had slowly risen to be over her head. "I suppose a hero can't come if you don't need one." ((She's referring to the Japanese.....I guess it's a superstition.........Any way........ She's referring to the Japanese beleif that if you see the bunny in the moon your hero will come. Doesn't make sense to me actually.))

Luther walked briskly into the park, the screaming in head starting to hurt. He regretted the day he created the damn whip, but he needed companionship, and he certainly couldn't find it with his victims. He didn't know about Stockholm syndrome, and even if he did he wouldn't believe it. He looked around and found slim pickings in this collection of misfits and drunks, and decided that he he should just scout-out for some worthy prey. He saw a drunken man, stumbling down the street and rambling incoherently, he bumped fully into Luther and started to yell randomly, taking a half-hearted swing at him. Luther grinned widely, and grabbed him by the collar, dragging him into the alley. He held out his hand and the whip materialized into it instantaniously, it roared with delight. "You brought me food!" It trilled, squeeling with delight in his voice, heavily laced with incredibly violent and murderous delight. Luther rolled his eyes, and sighed, "Let's get this over with." Before Luther could say anymore the Whip lashed forward, rending the flesh from the Drunk's bone, blood shooting from the area where had been hit. The Whip squeeled with delight, and continued on doing it until the drunk was a bloody mess against the wall. Luther sighed, and clapped his hands, the Whip disappearing.

At the time when Luther had began creating his bloody canvas with the wall as his canvas and the human as his paint, Sibyl happened to pass by that particular alleyway just as he'd released the bloody mess of a body that was marred beyond recognition. It was a somewhat pathetic sight, vampires supposedly being so pristine and much cleaner than lycans but this one was about as sloppy as they came. Blood was everywhere, spread throughout the alleyway. Of course, he probably thought himself too clever to be caught by anyone such as the police and such an attitude would one day wind up getting him into trouble.
Sibyl slowly and silently approached the vampire, her lavender eyes completely unreadable, almost blank as she began to advance toward Luther. Her nose told her that this was a vampire, though the bloody display against the wall was probably proof enough as it was. Most people weren't capable of such carnage and would purge at the sight of such an abomination but not this man. He was a vampire all right and she could sense something off about him. There was an incredibly blood lustful side to him and he did not have it under control at all and it made Sibyl slightly uncomfortable though her resolve was firm as ever.
"What a horrible mess," Sibyl finally decided to say, now mere inches away from him, "you made. You'd better clean that up, you wouldn't want someone to find that bloody mess there and trace it to you." Her smile was rather smug as she slightly goaded him to get him ticking. She really didn't care for vampires who chose to terrorize their prey as he did. It was sick in her mind and it wasn't the proper way to deal with prey. The proper way was by puncturing their stomachs and snapping the neck. It was a simple and clean kill if one executed it properly.

"Technically the whip made the mess." He said simply, turning around. He could sense power in this one and knew almost instantly that she was a Lycan. He sighed, and raised his hands slightly, "I'm not here for trouble, my Friend here was hungry." He clapped his hands again, the whip appearing again, this time with a cry of joy. "MORE Food!?" It yelled in excitement, trying to lash at the Lycan. Luther quickly drew back his hand, keeping the whip from reaching her. "Tell the nice Lycan what you just did" He said plainly to the whip. "I had food!" It yelled excitedly, his Psychotic side was incredibly stupid, apparently. "You see?" He asked, weary and clearly wanting to be somewhere else. He then thought of the experiment, this Lycan had power, he knew this was a perfect person to try the drug against. He tried not to seem obvious, but adjusted his stance to be more arrogant, and laughed, "He died like a pig." He remarked, indicating the drunkard. He hated being gloating over kills, but he needed to engage this one in combat. He wouldn't be the one to make the first move however, he just needed to seem like an arrogant and pompous deathdealer. "Not much of a stretch..." The Whip muttered, reading his thoughts.

"Technically," Sibyl decided to respond with a smart-a** comment seeing as she was one, "you are the one in possession of the whip and therefore allowed it to make such a mess so you remain at fault. Going to clean it up?" She knew that he wasn't a stupid vampire, that much she could tell but she could sense just how erratic this persona with him was and she was ready for anything. When the whip spoke of its own accord and attempted to lash out at her, she growled, bearing her canines to both the vampire and the whip. Her lavender eyes slowly turned amber in the process, signifying that her instinct was prepared to take over for her should the need arise, which so far it hadn't but her instinct didn't like the vibes it got from this particular fellow. Her instincts were reminded of Alasdair when conversing with this vampire and he had a darkness about him that Alasdair possessed as well.
Sibyl merely rolled her eyes at his comment. Despite the fact that Luther's whip had spread the blood everywhere and the scent was almost overpowering, she could still smell the alcohol that the human had consumed. At the very least, the human had been drunk so there would have been less terror. "I'm certain," Sibyl responded rather calmly, not exactly the self-righteous type who became offended for other's sakes, "he did, seeing as he was drunk beyond reason. You always this smug about your kills? Enjoy gloating over them? Power hungry, perhaps? I've seen many vampires like that."
Her instinct had sensed the change in his intent and though she did not know what it was, it'd sensed the most minute alteration in his attitude. She wasn't sure what this vampire was wanting but something told her that he wasn't just lazy and bored with her any longer like he had been mere moments ago. Something was working within his mind and when vampires such as him had thoughts in their mind, they were often not very favourable in Sibyl's eyes. The last time she'd sensed this, Alasdair had placed a shock collar on her since her memory of that moment before had slowly unfogged.

Deceit and lies, childish things that weak people come up with just to hide the fear that shivers down their weak spines, both have failed countless times to subdue the half millenary vampire. Alasdair had been a powerful vampire for hundreds of years, and the powerful attract leeches, leeches that figure themselves smarter than their host. Foolish little vampires with their foolish little plans, did they actually think that Alasdair had lived for so long by being stupid or naïve? No, they will get what they deserve soon enough.
It had not been difficult for the vampire to overhear the whispers of the weak Cosette and the naïve Luther. After all, over the centuries vampires develop unimaginably heightened senses. He had not even reached the sidewalk after all, but he played it off as he had not heard. After all, it would have taken a powerful ear to have heard such soft whispers.
His ears had also picked up another vampire; it had been faint in the back of his mind while he was with the treacherous duo. It was too faint to have caught Alasdair’s attention, but now that the two were gone he could hear her soft footsteps. He smiled because soon enough the other vampire revealed itself.
It was a woman, just a regular female vampire. Nothing out of the ordinary by plain sight, but Alasdair felt power inside of her. She was plenty more than just a slender and pale vampire with auburn hair; but greetings where in order, since she was the one to introduce herself so forward.
“Yes beautiful night indeed”. Alasdair replied to the woman softly. “A night with such beauty demands a better view.” He added as he turned around to finally see the other vampire. He smiled at her and motioned to the building beside them. With that look Alasdair bent his knees slightly and pushed himself off the ground. He easily managed to reach the top of the five story building behind the plaza. He safely landed a few feet from the ledge and waited for the woman.

Luther deflated, and said "I was merely trying to invoke a Violent situation so I would be able to test out my new power increasing drug without having to work to find somebody willing to do it." He explained this plainly and without any hint of threat or malice, he wasn't looking for blood, nor did he have an itching for violence, he just desperately wanted to test this new thing out for himself and he sensed this Lycan to be powerful enough to provide a challenge and make him see if the drug needed improving. "And if it is so important for you that this mess be cleaned up.." He held out the palm of his hand and the blood became a massive cone, going into the glowing purple gem embedded into the pale flesh of his hand. He shuddered, and looked at the now far less bloody corpse. He waved his hand absent-mindedly, and the corpse quickly sunk into the shadows. "My name is Luther Crepsly, but most people call me Creepy." He said simply, sighing at the ring of his nickname, "I ask them not to, but they insist upon it." When he said Theyhe actually simply meant Cosette, who had a child-like need to bully him with that nickname. "I can sense that you are no ordinary Lycan, I can sense power, and a reluctance to use it against others." He had always been good at reading people, came with the trade of being a Ringmaster.

Deceit and lies were things that Hideyo, like Alasdair, had encountered and dealt with her entire life. There was absolutely no avoiding them whether or not you were powerful and well known or whether you were the most pathetic of lowly peasants in other's eyes so long as they could manipulate the circumstances to their advantage. It didn't matter to other people what you were like so long as they could somehow use you then they would plant their intents and seal them with their vile thoughts. She'd eventually learnt through time how to deal with such wolves in sheeps' clothing and it often had to do with the sheeps' wool being dyed red in colour. More often than not, it was the only way to safeguard oneself against the cruelty of the world and greed of others that consumed them to the point they'd abandon everything and everyone but those who could further them to their objective. And once the person had been brought closer to their objective and found their host was no longer of use, they would simply cast them aside as if they were nothing.
Hideyo had heard a few of their final comments and words from the seemingly unfitting duo, having stationed herself as an eavesdropper and observer from afar but she hadn't been highly concerned with what they'd said. She merely wished to see their true natures and it was best to know someone else's true nature when they thought they were in the safe zone where no one could touch them. That was when their true colours showed and that was when the act abruptly ended and the actors on the stage became who they really were, the greedy, insolent fools who would be no where without those that'd hired them. She wondered, though, where their safe zones were and how she'd manage slipping into the boundaries of such a place to truly glimpse all these actors and actresses.
For now, Hideyo didn't have to play the game of lies and deception, for now she could simply gather information and slowly string it together to discover what the final result of it was. She had no reason to hide anything so she'd decided to approach this vampire whom was obviously aged for his mannerisms were very delicate and reserved. Of course, she was no fool and realized that this vampire had potential and that he was nothing short of powerful and dangerous. However, when she thought of that it wasn't fear that coursed through her, it was excitement at what the future would bring as well as a little curiousity and caution, though caution was always there to accompany her analytical nature. She sometimes became too involved in her research and it could sometimes backfire on her so through the many years she'd naturally developed her subtle but effective perks that got her the information she needed usually.
Hm, so this vampire actually had a side to him that managed to appreciate the beauty that the sickened world still managed to hold onto. It was nice to know that there were still some people out there who remembered just how truly beautiful a place this was and to savour it while it lasted. Naturally, she didn't object to his suggestion and she nodded her approval to his prior comment and followed after him. Her jump was executed with the perfection of a honed warrior that had the ability to do so but also with the perfection of an artist or dancer, that moved fluidly through the air. Her auburn hair seemed to dance as she took her flight and her small grin of delight wasn't difficult to catch as she rose upward and landed on the rooftop in a crouched position.
It was apparent from how she'd jumped that she was no mere child that'd been bitten by a vampire and was now running rampant around New York struggling to find her place. No, everything she did was with purpose and reason, she was calm and calculated and there was a serenity about her that almost intoxicated and often caused people to be distracted by the fact that she could be just as deadly and flamboyant as she could be serene. She slowly rose from her crouched stance to stand up perfectly straight to face the vampire that'd brought her up here. As always, caution was with her while she assessed this vampire and also made some connections in this city. "Hm," she decided to comment, "the heavens are cloudy tonight and yet they still manage to sustain such beauty. Why is it that artists so often choose to have their night-time backgrounds with stars when the whisps of the clouds on a starless night are equally as divine?"

Luther’s abrupt decision to be so blunt and forward after trying to disguise his motive and intent with her hardly destablized someone such as Sibyl. She grew up with people constantly being blunt and staying true to what they said and meant for that’d been her former pack’s way of life. There had been no secrets or hidden motives amongst them, not even when a lesser wolf had decided to make a plot to take over the pack by defeating the Alpha. It’d definitely been a lot simpler in her former pack where people simply fought eachother if they had an issue with one another and then it was either forgotten or forgiven the next day. There were no grudges and the pack had truly worked as one and flowed as one, something she would always have to admire her father for, as many ideals he had that she did not share.
Sibyl smirked when he finally decided to fess up since she already knew that he’d been lying to her about the fact that he was proud of such a kill. She hadn’t known why he’d lied to her about it but her instinct had detected the lie easily enough as it always did. “So why not come out in the first place and tell me that as opposed to lying to me and trying to deceive me?” She could sense easily enough that he wasn’t interested in actually fighting to the death or anything of the sort but he merely wanted to use her as a test subject. However, he was a vampire and she was a lycan and if he was testing out something that’d eventually lead to the harming of her fellow pack members then it was her duty to assure that no such concoction was ever properly completed.
As for when Luther decided to clean up the mess of his own making, Sibyl decided that she would genuinely thank him since she wasn’t absorbed by her pride, “You’re the first vampire to not attack me on sight and dub me a mutt, a dog or a flea bag. And on top of that, you actually fulfilled my request without much complaint or protest. For that I will have to thank you, unfortunately, though, I cannot repay you in the manner you’re apparently wishing me to.” She paused for a moment to hear his comment about her apparently being reluctant and a smirk broadened her features, “Tread carefully, little vampire,” she warned, “I happen to be Sibyl Black, Beta female of the lycans in New York. To call me reluctant would be one of your gravest mistakes, I am merely reserved and will not attack someone unless they present me with a reason to do so.”
Naturally, Sibyl informed him of her intentions, seeing as she had no reason to hide them or guise them as he apparently had. “I’m sorry to ask you this next question,” she said quite simply but not really in a threatening manner though the person behind soft voice was obviously capable of much more, “but I’m going to have to ask you to discontinue your studies and field research. If I allow you to complete such a dangerous drug then it’ll be my pack members that your vampiric allies assail with their newly found strength. I’m responsible for each and every one of them and that ultimately means their safety. Hopefully your leaders would do the same for your kind and protect you from such harm as I plan to. So I will ask now, in the best interest of my pack, politely and without threat, if you would please discontinue this research made for the purpose of harming my family. If you refuse to fulfill this request, unlike the last, I will have to exhibit just how unreluctant I can be.”
Unlike most lycans, Sibyl remained completely calm and collected during this situation and she bothered to assert reason before jumping to conclusions and deciding to terminate this vampire. It was not beyond her ability to do so but if she could solve something peacefully as opposed to violently then it would save them precious and tedious time as well as it'd spare them both the hatred that seemed to fuel their races. Of course, lately the vampiric race had been cracking down on supposed traitors and she was almost certain this vampire would refuse her second request.
