Hie fingers flew over the keyboard, while his mind raced. The smart little fuggers had breached the lines and entered his complex....He raced this thoughts and tried to think....
His fingers flew through the simulated monitor, and picked together shapes and proportions. He grinned as imagers flashed through is mind.
He grionned as the form took on shape. Humanoid, grey flesh, extremely fat.....
he crossed it out and went for something more simple, while monitoring the advance of the soldiers.... the next crossing of the path they were bent to rtake had a heavy duty electrical camera, running on.... heavy current....
Grinning, he ditched the entire project, and opened one of his earliest designs, an UT model, which he had ported to the system, and which was extremely fast. he enhanced the sequence, Yes, it was small, and it was very easygoing. it was also able to act on its own. he hit enter.

The single commando looked around, and advanced. he had all of the time, since these idiots....
He never finished the thought, as he was lifted by a strong silvery mass to the ceiling. strings of silver warped over the body, and something looking like a crab with a scorpions tail came towards him. Instinctively, he tried to keep his mouth shut, but it was too late.... it jumped, using a single strang of the silvery liquid, spinning towards his face like spiderman....

Brian grinned as the signal grew.... he checked on the progress of the little critter. The creature was entirely composed of nanobots, and it was infused with some very basic lowlife intelligence. It attacked anything in its size.... he checked again.....

The creature rose from the ceiling, and fell to the floor, in a shower of blood, innards, and bone splinters, currled in a ball. slowly, it errechted itself, and opened its eyes. It scanned the body, still glued to the ceiling, slowly dissolving in a mess of silvery strains. the nanobots dissolved the body at a rapid pace...
A noise let it slip around. It checked the corridor behind itself, using a wifi signal like echolocation. a small tiny device at the targets hip responded... Trent Derringer, 28, data secretary, additional weapon training, combat service.....
A list of additional data flashed the beings central nervous system, which was also composed of nanobots. It slowly walked towards the being, to get a better recception. The being tried to ineract in audio-messages.
"Hhhh-ghhhhi..... s**t, I should not have smoked that shitty weed, ********, you look like the alien thing from the movies.....If you are, nice to meet you, if you aren't, please don't take...."
The thing shut of the incoming data, as his brain resulted in the correct measures.....

The creature used a part of its body to copy the design of a soundcard, and a loudspeaker. then, it piped the content of its initial kernel through the lodspeaker. It grinned, and extracted its smaller pair of fangs, to catch any response of signals.... and it cought some....
As it turned around, it saw the motions. again, it wified, and it got no response.... it increased its progress and the search algorithms stopped as the target shoot him with a thing called pistol bullet... apparently, it was designed as some kind of piecing weapon. As it broke into a trott, at approximately 60 mph, it's innards reformed and digested the bullet, by taking it apart piece by piece. As it reached the shooter approximately 609 milliseconds later, it simply stopped for a bit, as his panzer opened, and enclosed the attacker. The digesting only took a bit of a few hundert milliseconds, while the other human was apparently screaming. The creature did not understand why or what, as it used the chemicals, metals and coal-based athoms to rearrange and create more nanobots. It learned of the structure of Kevlar, and of gunpowder. New muscles formed, as the digested target wiggled, and flexed them, were rearranged, and newly created. a short algorithm of 50 circles later, it stood up, and innitalised its new drivers.
Approximately 50 miles faster, able to take more hits, and with approximately 25 % more bodymass, it set out its secondary mouth again, and scanned the area.... mit catched a few random bits off the auirtraffic.... a map opened in his head, with all the neccesary red dots, like where his enemy had stood. Superb....

Larry waited a few seconds, but apparently Mr. Forgle hadn't heard him. Instead of asking again, Larry turned around and took off to find some action. He decided to make way for the main hall and from there try and find the armory.

Running rapidly down the hallways, following his intuition, Larry in short order reached the main halls and saw Riku there. He stood as if waiting for someone. Around him there were dead soldiers, but Larry was somewhat sure they weren't MM guards. Pressing his luck, Larry called out to Riku "Hey you. Yeah you." Larry echoed through the hall "Whatcha doin' here? And whatsa matter wit' them? Got a severe case of lead poisoning?"

The systems recovered from the electric shock slowly, as automatic repairs and backups kicked in. Tense seconds passed. Surprisingly, no more lightning bolts followed the first. At last the mech regained some maneuverability, and Joel pivoted to look at his attacker. Styxx and the other guy had rescued him while he was down, and both were attacking Blitz. One of them had drawn blood. The idea of injuring her seemed wrong, somehow. Joel just couldn't remember why it was a bad idea.

Between Styxx jumping her and the other guy - whatever his name was - hitting her over the head, Blitz was overwhelmed. She threw a few electric bolts wildly into the air, and then went unconscious.

On seeing his fellow Uroboros fall, the Bear let out a deafening roar. Swiping aside his own retreating men, he lumbered towards the mercenaries. Joel fired a hail of bullets at him. Scores of 85 caliber bullets ripped into the Bear's skin, but didn't slow the immense man down. For all the effect they had, they might as well have been red paintballs. Finally, the Bear was too close to shoot without risking hitting Styxx or the android. In a very bearlike motion, the Bear swiped a fist down at Styxx.

Larry was impressed by Riku's skill. He laughed after he had come closer and noticed the wounds "It's a sorta general term where I come from." he said "In the city, people don't usually bring blades to gunfights. Stunts like those'll get ya killed."

After he was finished looking at Riku's wounds, Larry finished up his statement with a bit of sarcasm, saying "Case in point." and shaking his head. Looking back through the hall the way he came, Larry pointed in that direction and said "As far as I know, the meds are all in the infirmary, waiting for busted mercs to arrive." he turned back around and continued "I just came from that way, though, I'm lookin' for the armory to get tooled up and then try and get a new mission from the boss."

Styxx whirled as a loud commotion began behind her, and what sounded like that pissed off air. As she turned she felt the air screaming with the force of the swipe directed at her by the raging bear. She couldn't fully dodge the blow, it was to close when she turned. Instincts leading she rolled to avoid it, protecting her sides and neck. Claws ripped through her shoulder and sent her flying, blood spraying in a vivid arc over her head.
She hit the dirt, rolling head over tail before slammign into a tree. Her lungs screamed in protest as the air was purged from her body. She wheezed, instantly changing back into a human form. Her eyes were glowing silver, still feral and mad with rage. Her blond hair was hanging in her face, and though the bleeding had slowed but still dripped steadily. Her lips twisted in a snarl, the bear roared at her and began charging, in answer she roared back. She pulled her sword as she stood and ran forward to meet his charge. Clapping both hands on her sword it separated into her hands into dual swords which glowed brightly. She clanged them together in an X, sending sparks flying before leaping into the air and coming down swinging towards the bears unprotected head.
