"I'm just crazy that way!" he proclaimed proudly, fluffing his wingfeathers.

"Rocks are useful!" he said abbruptly.

To prove it, he picked a small, rounded, flat, smooth, perfect skipping rock from the forest floor in his mouth, and chewed on it just hard enough that he didn't break his teeth.

He dropped it with a small "Plegh!".
"The rocks here don't tast so good...." he said meekly, trying not to sound insulting to this pretty Fulffy's homeland.
