I don't know where to put this, so I'm putting it here. Polite Dissent picks apart medical contradictions and fallacies in media, and these are their "picture quizzes." They take comic book pages/panels and have people guess what's wrong with them. Some of them are pretty funny. Things I have learned: - Superman can't draw a human brain. - Jesse Quick is unfamiliar with how legs work - Most writers don't know the difference between a germ and a virus - Batman doesn't want to tell Superman his drawings suck

Don't call pathogenic microorganisms "germs"~! Some people think viruses are a living entity, and therefore they could consider a virus an example of a germ. The morticoccus virus will always be number one in my book of epic failures at understanding basic microbiology. Sad it wasn't anywhere on that page. X) P.S. Check out this awesome ad I found in a google search just now. It originally appeared as an ad in 1964's Tales of Suspense: http://tinyurl.com/55k383

Well folks, I never though it would happen, But I finally got a girl friend.....sorta of. You see, her and I meet on gaia years ago, and where friends for the most part. I never really though about being with here. But I was always there for her when she really needed someone to talk to, especially after she had crappy boy friends. So it was about a year ago, she told me she had a dream of me telling her I loved her. I was really shocked by this, because I didn't realize she had feelings for me. I was really faltered but I didn't want to hurt her in any way, despite the fact that I had feelings for her, and I was afraid she would get hurt if she got to close to me. Not only that but she was 16 at the time, and I was 20, so it felt wrong to me to lead her on like that. But we talked about it, and she understood. We where still friends, and we would talk on the phone for nearly 2 hours every few weeks.
So it was only a few weeks ago, that I told her that I also have feeling for her, which she was really happy about. Since then we've been trying to figure out a good time to meet up. So far we've figured a good time to meet up for the first time around New Years. We're both really existed to see each other. Good I feel so gitty over this. heart

Did anyone else notice that superhero boots are trending right now!?
By superhero boots, I mean... flat heeled, tall, ridiculously colored vinyl boots.
I saw a girl wearing pink ones, and I had seen a pair of fake suede red ones for sale at a shop recently as well.
Usually any type of boot for girls (that is not made of shearling, or a doc marten type boot~) has some ridiculous heel on it. This goes double for ones in ridiculous colors (basically anything not black or brown), and for ones made of vinyl shiny stuff. If those aren't stilettos, they are brick platforms.
I wanna buy some. But then I will never wear them... as I have worn my white pair of Doc Martens a total of two times. e.e;;
Example: http://www.zappos.com/cole-haan-air-lizzie-tall-boot-lacquer-red-patent
...wonderwoman/supergirl boots that don't look like hooker boots!!

storm trooper style woo~
Now I need to find that aren't meant for girls born without calf muscles~

Oh those are cool! But they would never fit on my calves. I have an awesome pair of black boots I got secondhand off eBay that have elastic backs. Why can't I find more boots like that?!
