He chose a film he had watched before, turned it on, and then looked to Luca. How were they going to do this? Sit passively beside each other? An arm around his back? Where was the line?

When Lori turned to face him, Luca gave him a quick kiss on the lips. He pulled back, looking towards the tv. Hm. Actiony things.

Lori froze. What? Had that just happened? A grin slowly spread across his face and he cupped Luca's face in his hands and gave him an earnest kiss. It wasn't erotic or meant to arouse, but it was at least a proper first one.

A second kiss! Luca was surprised by the reaction, he'd been nervous about kissing Lori. No longer. He returned the kiss happily. This was nice.

When the kiss broke, Lori laughed again.
"If you're gonna do it, commit to it!" He bonked Luca's head with his and took his hand. It didn't need to go any further than that. He didn't even want it to, really. Kissing was good. It was nice.

"I was nervous," Luca admitted, giving him a slight smile. He gave his hand a squeeze. He glanced towards the tv for a brief moment. Something was on fire.
He looked back to Lori and smiled. "I'm rusty."

"You?" Lori was honestly surprised. Luca was tall, red-haired, had stunning eyes, a good personality, a god sense of humor. He was genuinely a good guy. How could nobody want him?
"Well. I'm here if you ever need practice."

"Yup," Luca smiled at him. He was miserably rusty. Finding someone who wanted a long lasting relationship was hard. Finding someone immortal who wanted a long lasting relationship was impossible.
He gave Lori a kiss on the cheek. "You've doomed yourself to my advances," He teased.

"Maybe I welcome your advances," Lori said. He wrapped an arm around Luca's shoulders. Maybe this would work. It seemed impossible, but who knew? Maybe you just had to wait a couple hundred years to find a homosexual immortal willing to listen to you rant about species classification.

Luca smiled brightly. Maybe he did. They were official, after all. "I'm glad we're together," he said. The closest thing he'd get to an I love you for a while, he thought.

"Me too," Lori agreed. It was dumb luck that brought them together. Dumb luck and... magical books. Fae magic.
...fae magic had brought him to his current boyfriend? Huh! Well look at that.
"Can I hold you?" He held his arms open. Luca certainly wouldn't crush his lap, or his shoulder should they choose to lounge instead. He didn't care. He just wanted to be close.

Luca paused at that question, before scooting closer and into Lori's lap. He leaned against him, smiling. What was he supposed to say in this situation? It was comfortable, he didn't he want it to end.

Lori shifted under Luca to get comfortable, wrapped one arm around his boyfriend and the other to prop himself up. So half-sitting. That was fine by him. He kissed Luca just in front of the ear and smiled at him. Damn, he liked this.

The movie ended far too soon for Luca's liking. He didn't want it to be over, he didn't want to have to move. "Want to watch another one?" he asked.

Lori looked at the clock and then kissed Luca on the cheek.
"We can if you want." Rosie would be fine. He'd make it up to her later. Right at this moment he didn't want to move either. It was just a few hours he was gone. Really he wanted to just fall asleep here. He absentmindedly stroked Luca's belly as he went back to the menu and started looking through the movies again.
