Kaori opened her eyes and stood. She stretched and gathered her chakra. She hummed and focused her chakra into a mobile wall of mud and dirt. She used her control of her chakra to control the jutsu and move it to and fro for a moment. {1/4}
She released her jutsu and formed another hand sign, this time the earth and mud formed into solid spears. She kicked at them slightly, to test how strong they were, then released the jutsu and watched as they dissolved into mud and dirt once more. {2/4}
Kaori focused her chakra into the earth once more, this time she didn’t want to create anything, though. She closed her eyes and focused until she could feel the vibrations in the ground, telling her where people were. {3/4}
She gathered her chakra one more time and closed her eyes as she focused it into her hand. She formed her hand into a fist and then jumped up, when she landed, she slammed her fist into the ground. The instant of contact, she pushed her chakra into the ground and watched it shatter and split right in front of her. {4/4}

Kaori finished up her performance training and settle back down once more and started to Meditate again. She took a deep breath and formed three hand signs, the ram, the ox and the hare. She focused her chakra into her lungs and mixed it with the air in them. {1/4} She then moved her from her lungs to her hands as she formed more signs, the dragon, the tiger and the horse. Her hands grew warm and began to glow with her chakra. {2/4} Kaori took another deep, soothing breath, and moved her chakra from her hands to her feet and formed more signs. her feet turned warm as she focused. She knew if she tried she could run faster with her chakra where it was. {3/4} She moved her chakra from her feet to her head and focused intensely. Her hands formed the last few signs and she smiled slightly. If she were to open her eyes then she knew she’d be able to see even better than her already cat-enhanced eyes could normally. {4/4}

Kaori stood again, she couldn’t just meditate all at once, or train all at once, she needed variety. So she mentally went through her known jutsu and smiled as she picked a few to perform. She gathered her chakra and grabbed two kuni from her hip pouch and focused her chakra around it. She then threw the kuni at a dummy and watched as it flew faster and drove deeper into the dummy then just a normal kuni. {1/4}
Kaori focused her chakra into the air around the kuni she’d used and made a ‘come hither’ motion. She then watched as the kuni flew back into her hand and smiled slightly. She was getting better at this. Practice really did make perfect. {2/4}
She gathered the wind around her and formed a hand sign and forced her chakra into the wind. The wind started to shift and swirl around her. After a quick moment, it formed into a swirling shield of winds around Kaori {3/4}
Kaori gathered more wind, but this time she made it form into a ball. Once the ball formed, she jumped on top of it and stood there. The wind moved through the air and across the floor, Kaori on it the entire time. {4/4}

Theodin thought about what his mom had explained for a minute, then made a couple shadow clones to practice the physical techniques first. The first clone attacked, and Theodin parried the strike as he dropped his weight before bursting up with a double uppercut, launching the clone into the air. He then bounced the clone in the air with a few punches, finishing with a kick to flip it over, making the clone hit the ground flat on its back. As the other clone attacked, Theodin covered his front arm with chakra, trying to absorb the force of the strike, but still taking most of the blow, then returned with his own punch, which didn’t do much more than his regular punch would’ve done. (1/7) Again one clone attacked Theo, which he blocked with a chakra covered arm, trying to absorb the force, but it didn’t work well, he then returned with a kick of his own to the clone’s ribs. As the other clone attacked, Theodin ducked to avoid the strike, bursting back up with the double uppercut, but missed his timing to bounce the clone around. (2/7) The first clone attacked again and ducked the punch, coming back up with the double uppercut. He missed the bouncing strikes, but got the kick to flip the clone over, so it still hit flat on its back. When the other clone attacked, theo coated his arm in chakra again to try to absorb it, managing to absorb maybe 25% of the force, he retaliated with a punch of his own, staggering the clone back slightly. (3/7) Another attack came in, which Theodin block with a chakra covered arm, managing to absorb about 35% of the force, using it to add to his punch, knocking the clone back a few feet. As the other clone attack, Theodin parried the strike, crouching as he did, then burst up with the double uppercut, launching the clone into the air. This time he managed to get 2 or 3 strikes in to bounce the clone in the air before flipping the clone with a kick and stomping it when it hit the ground. (4/7) On the next attack, Theodin slipped past it as he dropped down only to burst back up with the uppercuts to send the clone into the air again. He was able to bounce the clone in the air for a bit with about 4 strikes, then kicked it to flip it over on its back, stomping it’s ribs as the clone hit the ground. As the other clone attacked, Theo coated his arm with more chakra and blocked, absorbing around 50% of the force, returning it with a kick that knocked the clone a couple feet across the room. (5/7) Again a clone attacked, and again Theodin blocked the strike with his front arm covered in chakra to absorb the force, he managed to absorb about 75% of the force. Returning the force of that strike along with his own, theodin punched the clone, knocking it back several feet. When the other clone attacked, Theodin parried it as he crouched, bursting up with the uppercuts, the clone flew into the air, where theodin bounced it 4 or5 times before kicking it to flip the clone over and stomping it into the ground upon impact (6/7) Feeling like he finally had the hang of those moves, Theo nodded for the clones to attack one more time. Theodin ducked the first strike, bursting up with the double uppercut, launching the clone into the air. Theodin bounced the clone five or six times with strikes, then kicked the clone to turn it over onto its back and stomped it into the ground on impact, dispersing it. When the other clone attacked, Theodin coated his arm in chakra to block, completely absorbing the force, then returned it with his own kick, knocking the clone into the nearest wall, dispersing it. (7/7) With the physical side done, Theodin sat down to meditate. Theodin knew that belief was half the battle, that his spirit ultimately needed to be in control, but couldn’t block out the thoughts of his ineffectiveness against the UHV in konoha. He tried to explore his mind for the reasons to his quest for power and his feelings of doubt. (1/7) Still sitting, Theodin tried to remind himself of all his strengths and the good things he’s done. He thought about his power as a ninjutsu user and a sage, how he was able to help save his mother from whatever jutsu she was caught in during the last fight. But he then started doubting himself again, as he thought about the different taijutsu he knew, he just couldn’t put everything together and it frustrated him to no end. (2/7) Theodin continued to reassure himself of his skill and strength, fighting against the doubt caused by his failures. His mother, the kage, chose him as her personal guard for her trip to the sage lands, his parents were proud of him and what he’d achieved so far, that had to mean something. As his confidence increased slightly, he was slowly able to understand more of how everything fit together. (3/7) Sittig there, he felt himself becoming overly confident, which would also lead to defeat, or death, so he had to remind himself of his limitations, he wasn’t particularly good with genjutsu. He’d still have difficulty going toe-to-toe with a taijutsu specialist, even with his strength. His mind, turned to focus on how he could use taijutsu to augment his ninjutsu and vice versa to be a more well-rounded fighter. (4/7) Thinking to the future, he was nervous about trying to join the anbu corps, worried he might fail the test an disappoint his parents and himself. He then remembered that he was a total mix of their DNA, have both of their abilities. If they could become anbu, so could he. His mind drifted to his technique, how strikes could become blocks, how a block could simply be moving out of the way. All he had to do was not think so much and react to what came at him. (5/7) After a while longer, Theodin’s doubts and fear started to clear away. He was still nervous of failure, but felt he had the strength to overcome that anxiety. In his mind technique started to fall together, but were still fragmented to the point that he wasn’t totally sure it could all work. (6/7) After another few minutes, much like when he was training to be a sage, his mind just stoped fighting itself. Like a sudden ‘Eureka’ moment, Theodin’s mind cleared. He knew his limitations, and how he could compensate for them to an extent, but also that he needed to find ways to work with his teammates to cover each other’s weaknesses. He had reached the point where he knew he could do almost anything he set his mind to. All his technique fell together in his mind. Feeling finished, the young jounin opened his eyes, feeling as if he was seeing the world for the first time again. (7/7)
Standing up, Theodin stretched out his legs and cracked his back, then turned to Ayame and James with a smile, "Thanks for your help, I might be crazy but I actually feel stronger just from these last few techniques.."

Kaori sat down and concentrated. She brought her chakra to her heart, and held it there as she ran through all the hand signs she typically used for jutsu. She felt her heart warm and had the sensation of it swelling with emotion and her chakra. She held the chakra there as long as she could, then moved it. {1/3} She moved her chakra to her head, and did the same thing. She ran through the signs, and then felt her concentration expand, and then narrow until it was as strong as it would get. [2/3] She moved her chakra one last time, this time to her hands. She once more ran her hands through the signs and felt her hands warm, and she knew that if she opened her eyes, they would be glowing with her silver chakra. [3/3]

Kaori moved her chakra from her hands to her feet and focused it there and held it. She felt her feet warm. She kept her chakra there as she ran through her hand signs, the ram, hare and ox. [1/3] She moved her chakra from her feet to her belly and focused it there for several long moments. She went through more signs, the tiger pig and dragon. [2/3] From there she moved her chakra to her head and sighed softly as she went through the rest of her hand signs and kept her chakra right where it was. She was so zen at this moment that she could actually feel her chakra grow stronger. [3/3]

After a few minutes of rest, Theodin kind of felt like sparring a bit, but didn't want to bother his parents anymore than he had already so he walked over to Kaori, who had apparently just finished some meditation, asking "Hey Kaori, want to have a quick sparring match?" He then stood waiting for her response.

Kaori turned to Theodin and smiled,
”Let me get this out of the way really fast and then sure!”She wanted to test herself against someone, and who better than someone close to her age, but with more training under his belt?
Kaori gathered her chakra and focused it into the wind. She gathered the chakra infused wind and formed a hand sign, the wind then formed around a training dummy. The dummy was quickly, and without mercy, ripped to shreds. [1/3]
Kaori moved to the center of the room and stretched for a moment. She focused her chakra into her feet and hands before she jumped up and then slammed back into the ground and sent the gathered chakra out into the ground. This created a massive shock-wave throughout the room and lifted the flooring in several places. [2/3]
Kaori closed her eyes and focused her chakra around her and into the sand. Once she had enough chakra in the sand she moved her hands, almost as if she were dancing, which caused the sand to move and hover in the air for a moment before she directed the sand to hurtle toward the dummy. It hit three of them, the projectiles decapitated one, cleaved another in half at the torso, and took the arm off of the last dummy. [3/3]
Kaori formed a single hand sign and pushed more chakra into the sand, it moved sluggishly at first, but quickly gained speed once Kaori regulated the amount of chakra she was using. The sand wrapped around the base of the dummy, where a living person’s feet would be, and rapidly moved up it’s body and squeezed it like a constrictor, splintering the wood. She released the jutsu and deemed it a success. [1/3]
Kaori took a deep breath and focused her gaze, and chakra, on the sand around her, once she felt she had a good grip over the sand she made a single hand sign, and watched as the sand rose from the ground and hovered in the air for a moment. Once she had complete control over the floating sand she jumped up onto one of the ‘clouds’ of sand and stood there for a moment to rest. [2/3]
Kaori moved her chakra into her hands and jumped, when she hit the ground she slapped her palms against it. This caused the ground to over turn itself, forming a perfect dome over Kaori. She smiled and released the jutsu. [3/3]

Theodin nodded, a small smile on his face "Cool, yea, finish up your stuff then we can spar." When it appeared that Kaori had finished her practice, Theodin said "Alright, let's keep the ninjutsu at least to B-rank and lower, don't want to end up really hurting each other." ashe put up a cople barriers to keep their jutsu from flying off and hitting someone else. "Ok, let's go!" Then then flashed a couple handsigns and two gyroscopic rings formed around him made of raiton chakra. He then formed a couple more handsigns and took a deep breath, exhaling a huge ball of wind, heading straight for Kaori.

Kaori used her advance reflexes and quickly moved to the side as she formed her own hand signs and expelled some chakra, this caused the wind around her to churn and spin and form her own shield, but this one of wind. She formed more hand signs and focused her chakra into a massive dragon, translucent red and green, that began to fire off concussive wind blasts from it’s mouth at Theodin. She moved back and away from him, keeping her distance, she didn’t like the look of that raiton shield.

Dodging the translucent dragon's concussive air blast, Theodin formed a handsign and exhaled a huge cloud of pitch black storm clouds, covering the area they were sparring in in black clouds. He then made a shadow clone, which ran in an arc through the cloud towards Kaori, throwing two quick punches at her ribs and stomach. The original Theodin twitched the fingers on his right hand and a wave of electricity flew from his fingertips through the cloud at Kaori.

Kaori grunted as Theodin hit her ribs and stomach, then quickly forced chakra into her hands, and slapped the ground. A dome of earth covered her and blocked the majority of the electricity heading for her, but it wasn’t fast enough to completely dodge the blow, and she was zapped pretty good. She grit her teeth though, rather than cry out. Kaori caught her breath quickly though, and gathered her chakra, she forced the chakra into her hands and let it seek out Theodin, just like when she’d learned this technique. With him on the ground, he’d quickly find himself having a hard time with his chakra control. She kept this jutsu contained within the ground of their sparring area though.

Theodin felt a weird vibration go through the ground, it felt like the jutsu Kaori had used before to mess with him by taking away hiw ninjutsu for a while. As the storm clouds dissipated in the heat of the desert, Theo saw the dome of earth he assumed Kaori was inside. The clone Theo flooded his arm with chakra and swatted at the dome, breaking right through it as the original ran towards it. Quickly, the clone coated its skin with chakra and rushed at kaori, releasing a wave of dense chakra that would stagger her for a second as the original came i behind the clone to drill 10 chain punches to her chest and arms, followed by a vibrating palm to the stomach that would make her vision go blurry and make any movement difficult for a minute or so.

Kaori groaned when, after Theodin broke the dome she’d been in, she was struck by the wave of chakra. She staggered and that cost her, in the form of several blows to her stomach, chest and arms. The blow to her stomach made her feel heavy and uncoordinated, but she fought through it with determination and brought a hand to her mouth. She forced her chakra into her lungs and then, released it in a single devastating stream of air. It was a good thing Nova wasn’t in on this, the wind created from this jutsu was highly flamable; and Kaori only wanted to keep Theodin away from her, she felt more comfortable with long ranged attacks. She formed a couple of hand signs and created a wall of dirt and mud, that acted more as a wave, that she was on top of. She mentally directed the mud river to trap Theodin’s feet where he stood. Kaori then gathered her chakra, and infused it into the flowers braided into her hair, She formed a single hands sign and focused on Theodin and his clone, not sure which was which, and focused on their emotions, more specifically the emotion of nervousness. Once she was certain she’d cast the jutsu properly, she double cast it with the emotion of fear in mind. Combined they would create the feeling of insecurity to settle into Theodin’s psyche.

Far above the university floor sat a familiar figure, one whom had not been around nor available to do his regularly assigned duty in quite a long time. It happened when several lines of work come together, requiring the utmost attention. Like almost all of his VOID work, the information was top secret to which most of the ninja wouldnt even know what he had been up to. Sometimes the price of security was not knowing who was commiting the crimes....
He observed the dual from above, seeing several of the students far more grown then he had previously remembered. The still seemed cute and adorable...but this time their teeth was certainly just a little bigger...and much much sharper...
