Hades watched Vanessa's tantrum with an arched eyebrow. After a few moments, and after hearing what Aphrodite had to say, Hades chuckled lowly.

"Well, she has some fire, which she'll need down here. That is good. I can see that she will probably be able to either get along with the Furies or at least hold her own with them. That is good."

He walked forward, put his hands on Vanessa's shoulders, turned around, and then raised one hand to cup the side of her face. He used that hand to tilt her head up so that he could look into her eyes. He did not need to see what she had drawn or written in that sketchbook. He simply needed to look into her eyes.

After what felt like an eternity, Hades finally sighed and pulled back from Vanessa. He walked back to where he had been standing from the beginning and looked at Aphrodite.

"Alright, as long as you promise me that Adonis also owes me a favor, then I will bring the girl back to life, permanently. And this Vanessa girl can live at Bai Ching during her schooling, though she is to report to me whenever I call her. I am instructing you to teach the girl how to teleport Aphrodite. In order for her to do that, you'll also probably have to give her the power to do that."

Nessa stilled as she looked at Hades, and he at her. He seemed to be sizing her up, and looking for something... but for what, she didn't exactly know. He seemed to find it, though. He also agreed, in exchange for her, Ari could be brought back. Nessa's face swelled with hope, and the madness faded from her eyes. She retrieved her sketchbook, and stood by Aphrodite.

Hades smirked as he clasped hands with Aphrodite. A flash of lightning appeared around them as they did so and a rumble of thunder could be heard in the background. The places where their arms and hands were connected began to glow gold. Then, everything dissipated. However, there was still a strong amount of energy in the air.

Next, Hades turned to Vanessa, stuck out his hand to her, and nodded to her. Yes, this bond worked between a god and a mortal, too.

Vanessa didn't like the fact that she was going to be bound to Hades. She wasn't a piece of property, and she definitely didn't want to be some trained monkey to him, seeing things upon command. Not her style. Still, he was going to let her stay at school, despite being a dog on a leash. Ness decided it was probably the best deal she was going to get. Plus, Ari got to come back! ”… fine. Deal,” she said, shaking his hand as Aphrodite had.

Sam only stood next to Aphrodite as she watched the scene before her with her, Nessie, and Hades. Her heart sank when she heard about the deal with Hades, which meant she could possibly be losing her new friend. Not only was Tyler possibly lost to her, but now Nessie was going to leave her at some point. It made Sam sick to her stomach. With some deeply buried bravery, she piped up to ask the God of Death the only thing she cared about. "Umm, Mr. Hades, sir, has there been a Tyler Burke, an American, enter into the Underworld?" Her face was pointed down and her hands were fidgeting with each other. She almost regretted asking entirely.

Musica was sitting in one of the chairs next to Aurora, whom Bo was standing next to trying to cheer her up. Luli was lingering to the side awkwardly, smiling at her brother. Musica looked up at the girl that spoke to him about helping and he managed a fake smile to her. "Good, we can use all the help we can get. Right now, no one can leave or enter this school physically or magically, so we're just going to have to sit here and wait patiently." His raging blue eyes were like a sea during a storm. Fierce and viscious, unforgiving to all.
