Kale growled. "Its better to let her be killed through our bond than to let her be ripped to shreds and torchered by a close friend! As for Talons killings, you sure he did it without just cause?! I know Talon, he would never do anything like killing a mate unless he was provoked, he never did that, even when he was first turned, I'm sure you know that much about him!"
Talon turned as his first barrier was fading and growled darkly. There were a very rare few that could get passed his defences that easily and knew that whoever it was, was not a welcomed guest, as those who knew how to get passed them, were no allies. Without warning, he picked up Echo bridal style as she held their son. "We must leave this area immediately." he stated darkly, and his earth barrier opened part way and he ran through it and everything else, not letting the part of the barrier the intruder was trying to get through, go down easily. All he could think about at the moment, was to get Echo and James away from the danger approaching. He had to protect his family.

Echo turned to look at Talon, wanting to know what was happening. She could figured that out well enough when she was picked up though. "Talon who is coming?" She asked, holding James a little closer, because she didnt want him hurt. She cooed to him softly, trying to get him to stop crying. IT would be easier to get away if there wasnt a crying infant.

At his growl Kaida, or at least her body looked at Kale. Something flashed in her eyes as they went from bright red to the soft brown of Kaida. Worry crossed them as they always did when she heard him growl. She stared at him and gently touched his face, and for a moment her soul was overtaking the female inside her. But then the red returned and Kaida was lost again as she ran toward where Talon was. But she was far fast than he with the other two, and went to the trees and started to hop them. (bear with me)
She eventually overtook them and landed in front of Talon then, not more than ten feet from him growling. But she wasn't growling at Talon, she seemed to be growling at herself. Kaida's soul was trying to break out of the shell, but the female wouldn't let her. She seemed to be in an internal battle, but it wouldn't be won without the help of Kale, her mate. But Kaida had no way of telling him, and no way of warning Talon of what was to come.
You see, with Kaida being possessed, she had a mixture of this being's blood and Kale's, which was slowly being overtaken. She needed his venom to help kill it and keep it away.

Talon glanced at Echo then James, while he was running. He would've stroked the child if he wasn't carrying them. "Hush little one, I'll protect you." he stated softly, pleased when James quieted down. After a few more minutes though, he was forced to stop as Kaida jumped in front of his path. He put Echo down on her feet, silently telling her to keep away from the intruder as he put her behind him, growling at Kaida. "Tell me who you are for I know that you are not Kaida or Kale." he demanded darkly, his claws and powers ready to kill if he had to.
Kale's pain intensified as he went after Kaida again, and he was barely able to keep up with the pain. He arrived at the scene with Talon in front of Echo and a baby...his baby to be exact. Kale would've gone to look at the new born child if Talon wasn't on edge at the moment, for Talon would attack anyone and everyone as per instinct after a child is born that has the fathers blood, he would remain this way for three days or so, depending on what happens during those days.
So Kale just stepped up beside Talon, sternly stopping himself from looking at Echo and their baby, so as to not set Talon off in a rage. However, Kale's pain just intensified once more when he heard Kaida's growling, and Kale doubled over in pain, but only groans escaped, not allowing himself any other sound of pain to be made. "Kaida....being controlled, from within.....woman from your past....Talon..." he tried to convey, through his grunts, groans, and growls of pain.

Echo looked at Kaida, turning slightly, to try and keep her from see James. She just didnt want there to be a chance that something could hurt her baby. Echo didnt want to see someone she was close to hurt someone she loved. Echo could feel the tingle under her skin again, only this time she baby wasnt able to take the energy she had for itself.

Kaida's body growled, but her soul screamed. But then they both looked at Kale, and in the one glance of him in pain Kaida grew strong from withing. Her body seemed to glow slightly as her feet lifted off the ground, and finally she fell as a deep shadow seemed to fall as well. It was of a young woman with a defined face and an old warrior outfit on. With one look Kaida growled the most furocious growl that had ever come out of her; one of hatred and death upon her lips. SHe leaped onto the woman and seized her by the throat. It wasn't just a matter of defending her godson now, but taking revenge on her threatening Kale, her Kale. Although Kale had blocked the full extent of power from Kaida, their bond let her take it for the kill as she began thrumming the electricty into the shadow. Only the powers of elements could hurt this beast, so Kale's power's were no good here. Her eyes turned a bright white, but they weren't of anyone else's: They were Kaida's eyes. One could tell. She looked up at Echo and Talon then. "Run..." She told them softly, as not to upset of set off Talon. From there she commanded her power to her fists as she beat upon the shadow. The only problem was that it was a shadow. After taking a few blows to the head, the woman disappeared under the ground.
Kaida was heaving and looking around, her heart actually beating with adrenaline and raw energy. The clouds above her seemed to turn into a storm as lightening also came from them. She looked around for the woman, but she couldn't see her. It was no doubt she was damaged, and most likely trying to find another host body to feed on. But then, then she would return (just sayin)
Kaida's instinct felt no danger as her powers slowly started to fade. Finally she was depleated of all power; her hair was a mess. She had cuts and bruises from the past few hours that would go away soon enough, and was exhausted. Her legs couldn't take any more as she collapsed there, looking up at the sky. She was slowly passing out, her vision going slightly black.

Kale's pain continued until the dark woman left Kaida for good, but when Kaida fell, Kale found the strength to go to her side. "Kaida, Take some of my blood, it'll restore your energy." he told her softly, lifting her so she could rest against him instead. He also kept an eye on Talon just incase.
Talon was not amused by the display Kaida was showing off to kill a dead woman. The dead cannot be killed that easily, he knew that already, but it seemed he would have to prove that later as the shadow disappeared, but he quickly made it a point to use his powers to protect Echo and their son from possession. He was still stiff to get ready to pounce into battle if anyone even so much as moved to attack. But when Kale looked at him, he only frowned, daring Kale to attack. Of course, Talon was working with instincts and they were new to him since he never had a child until now, nor a weak mate who just gave birth. So without a moments hesitation, he turned to Echo to make sure she was fine, then checked James for any sign of marring that should not be there. "Are you alright?" he asked softly.

Echo looked at Kaida, more focused on the shadow. Echo held onto the baby, trying to stop the though tin the back of her head that was saying Kale or Kaida might want to hurt the baby. She didnt want to be near Kaida, she didnt trust the woman so much after she got in their way. Regardless if she was possesed, it made Echo nervous. She looked at Talon, and nodded, touching Jame's cheek, pulling her hand away when he made a noise close to a whimper. "We're ok." She said smiling warily.

Kaida found enought strength to press herself against Kale, inhale his scent and the feeling of his body as though it was a drug she was withdrawn from. 'Kale...' Her mind spoke in want of him, want of his gentle touch and his mind to be within hers. She brushed against his slightly and then retracted, leaving her mind open for his if he so chose to go into hers. It wasn't her fault that this possession took place, nor was it her idea to attack Talon, Echo, and their child. But the guilt was deep within her as she peeked at the tense Talon, fear gripping her. She whispered so low that even Talon could not hear, but only Kale. "He and she don't want me here... I can tell. I think I may leave, I don't want to cause any more trouble." Her words were filled with the guilt in her heart, and she sighed. "And Kale, you may stay with them and I can go hunt for you as you have done for me so many times. But I'm not forcing you to come with me..." Kaida nuzzled his neck on the mark, it wasn't completely faded but it seemed to be glowing slightly. Kaida watched his mark until a force inside of her--an instinct--forced her up to bite his neck. Instantly a warm and heat flared through her body, much like the one that had strengthened their bond before. Only this time, it was stronger. Indeed, this mark was different than all the others. Only truly blessed mates get a chance to bond in this way: where there would be no privacy between them, no hiding of emotions, and it would be very hard to stay mad at each other. By Kaida taking and creating the mark, a small tattoo design started to form on Kale's neck, making the claim. If Kale wanted to he could chose to mark her now as well, or if he thought she wasn't ready he could choose to wait. Kaida only took a few drinks and then pulled back, not wanting to take too much blood from him. Her eyes grew wide in fear that she had done something wrong to Kale, her love, too. "W-Wh-What did I do?!" She asked in barely a whisper, shaking in Kale's arms as she stared at the mark until it formed completely. (The mark [x])

((I would say that the baby could drink a special milk, enriched with blood and whatnot. Also you could breastfeed him... yeah. Haha I'd say until he's like, one that you could do that... then give him milk and such from a bottle))

(I would say the child can drink both blood and milk seperately or together, when hungry he'd probably want blood though as vampires feed their hunger with blood.)
Talon smiled softly, a bit relieved. "Come then, we will leave and take care of our son. We will return back to our friends when I feel it is safe." he told her softly, leading her away from the two on the ground. After a few hours, they came to a well hidden cave and went inside to rest.
Kale held her close to him as she snuggled into his body and allowed his mind to open to hers when he felt her brush his mind. "I will not leave you here to fend for yourself. Besides, they want no one here with them. It is natural after having a baby. Both the parents will feel uncomfortable around anyone, friend or foe, and now Talon is really on edge because his barriers were broken through very easily, which makes him uneasy. They will return to us when they feel ready to be back in the outside world." he told her softly, trying to sooth her feelings of guilt both on her physical body and in her mind.
Kale was stopped in his comforting of his mate when she suddenly bit his neck and her mind was opened to him in more than one way and he could feel her own special mark being etched into his skin. When Kaida pulled away, Kale could only see and hear her blood in her neck and the mark there. He could barely register her shaking form...and then his eyes started to glow gold, much like it did when she first met him, and seemingly to be the time when she fell in love with him too. Then his arms tightened around her form, pulling her close to his chest, his fangs lengthening, and he went forward, tilting her head gently, and bit into her own glowing mark completing the bond as a similar mark appeared on her neck.
However, he didn't stop there. No, instead he gently pushed her onto her back as he took slow tugs of her blood as it had been too long since he tasted her this way. His hands wandered over her body, under her shirt, teasing her skin. 'Mine, only mine.' these words repeated in their minds from him as he soon licked the holes to heal, only to kiss her neck instead. She was ready now and his body knew it. He could give her what she had wanted most. If she really wanted to have her own child now, he would answer her wish.

Kaida let him take her and complete the bond. Something in her knew she was ready, both physically and mentally, for a child. But then thoughts of the woman, of the shadow, of those who would want to take her child away from her came up. She kissed his neck gently, but paused his hand--no matter how hard it was to deny his body. "Kale..." She whispered against his skin, wishing he would drink more of her as it was so, so good. "Do you want a child? Will you be content with one?" She bit him softly on his new mark as a rush of lust filled her body, she pulled Kale in even closer. She wanted, though, to wait and see Talon's child as well to see what a vampire child would be, and she wanted to master her powers over electricity as well. Besides, she wanted a house for her child as well. Perhaps they could find onre more in the city--where humans would be abundant and they could stay hidden. But she would feel awkward not living with Talon. He was practically family to her as well, and she would never want to tear Kale and Talon up.
But the want for a child, and the want for Kale was overwhelming as well. His claims, mine mine mine over and over only flared her mark and made her burn with more desire than she had ever felt for him. She was confused beyond belief, and was hoping Kale would know.

Echo followed Talon, feeling better when they were away from everyone else. She was expecially glad to know they were some where people would have to look hard to find. "James is hungry Talon." she said holding the baby and feeling immensly proud of her tiny son. "Do I feed him?" she asked uncertian. She wilently wished hse had been like the other little girls with the baby dolls, they would probably have a better idea of how to take care of a vampire baby than she did. Those types of girls were the ones planning for familes, even if it wasnt a human baby there had to be some similarities.
