Meredith froze.
"N-No! I can't! You'll only be killed by those who imprison me...!"
She tried to run, but tripped, and she looked to be in pain.
"A charlie horse?! How did I get that by tripping?!"

Moé also tripped on accident, and gave a stifled wail.
"Owwwww! A charliee horse!"

Caleb stood and walked over to her. "What happened?" He crouched down next to her.

Moé gritted her teeth.
"It's a bruise or cramp of the thigh muscle."
She stood, shaking her head.
"I'm a messiah, remember? It'll only last..."
Moé seemed relieved.
"...a couple of seconds."
She helped him stand, and then kissed him.
"I-I'm glad you care so much for my health..."

"I am a doctor, foremost." Caleb replied. "It is my work to ensure the livelihood of others." His heels clicked back to his chair and he sat.

Moé nodded, and sat next to him.
She rested her head comfortably at the nape of his neck, wrapping her arms lightly around his stomach, and sortof dozed off.

"I want to know what you could have tripped on..." Taro said as he bent over Meredith and began to examine her leg.
"If you do not wish to know me, why did you come here? Why did you tell me so much about you?"He asked as he rubbed her leg gently, "Dose it hurt?"

Caleb began to turn red when she rested on him. He looked at his student and tried to ignore it as he continued to eat.

Meredith shook her head, her face bright red.
"No, it healed after a few seconds."
She paused.
"I came here looking for another victim of deception, by the name of Moé. She was possessed by a malevolent spirit, Bifrost, and does not remember the past three months she was here. A man who she's involved with was in an even deeper deception than yours, too. They're horrible, the people I'm forced to work for. And I told you about me so that you'd leave me alone. You're simply torn over the loss of a nonexistent relationship, I'm not the one you care for."

Moé slowly fell asleep, lightly talking in her sleep.
"I... love you too..."

Caleb turned to a deep shade of red. Finishing the bowl, he pointed the mask at her. "Are you not needing nourishment?"

Moé woke up after hearing his voice.
"I'm not hungry, I meant to eat a little later."
She looked up at him, smiling slyly.
"Why should I eat right now when I have you to concentrate on, anyways...?", she said somewhat dreamily.

"Well, the goddess of Fate says she's alright," Meredith said gruffly, standing. "...Better than alright..." She blushed slightly.
Meredith blinked.
"And if my memory is right, she dumped you even in the romanticist illusion, so you won't have any chance with the real one. Especially since her relationship is consummated."
She covered her mouth.
"I didn't just say that."

Moé shook her head.
"I have to show resilience, and wait a little to eat, so that I don't accidentally cook too much or eat all of it, in my hunger. It's like the 'don't shop for groceries when you're hungry' rule."
She cuddled up next to him, bright red, obviously liking the compliment.
"I-I don't think of it as grand... Oh, sir...!"
