There was a terrible long pause on Iden's end of the radio as Will's words sunk in. He waited for several long seconds of deliberation, fighting to keep his head clear.
Repeat that. Are you sure?

The pause at the other end of the line was not reassuring in the least, and the response was even worse; this mission was going sideways in record time, and it could only get worse from here on.
"I am sure, I thought I saw someone following me at the docks and Reign called me not too long afterwords to tell me that something was wrong; you're response is not helping the situation as well. What's the matter, what do you feel?"
There was a tone of anxiousness in his tone as William asked that question; he had never seen or heard Iden like this before, and it was beginning to freak him out a little bit.

Get in the truck, get over here, and pick me up. Don't waste time gathering equipment if it's not already on you. Go as quickly as you can, we're pulling out.
With that, Iden set the radio aside, where he could hear Will while keeping his hands free. Digging through his duffel, he tore into one of the packs of vitae Roan had provided and guzzled it with a voracious hunger. It did little to take the edge off, but it provided a momentary relief to allow him to hastily collect himself. Next was a phone call home; he was going to inform Roan that they were withdrawing empty handed.
Was he angry? Not really...frustrated perhaps, but he was clear headed enough to know that if they were compromised, the mission was over. They could not succeed without the advantage of surprise.

By this time, Reign would be slipping into Iden's hidey-hole. Reign had glanced around a bit, set his animal friends to watching the town, but still the feeling lingered. Before long Iden would hear his approach as he made no point to conceal it. That and well if anything was gonna give Iden away it was that Radio. And he'd enter at the point when Iden was saying they were pulling out. Well ********. That might be a little too quick on Iden's part.
"I Don't think it's the target that knows our presence yet. Animals in the area wouldn't be scared of what they're used to. I think something else followed us."
Reign just wanted to make sure that Iden knew his thoughts on it before they DID pull out. This might still be do-able, but his Role might need to change in it for it to happen. But it's Iden's mission, His call.

*A bleary voice answered Iden's call, which swiftly cleared up. An indication Roan was swallowing stuff thicker than water as she answered the call, picking it up INSTANTLY once she knew who it was, her meal hanging in her hands*

Roan was on the line, meaning she could hear Iden when he turned on Reign and fixed a very grim stare on his kin.
Thank you, Reign. That means its twice as important that we get out twice as fast. Outside trouble is worse than internal complications.
Reign would see it. Iden was now very, very worried. The revelation that it was something other than the target had chilled him to the core. Did he think it was Ice? Not really...he had it listed as possible, but more likely it was the Wyrm, in his eyes. A foe that none of them were equipped to deal with. If Will had made Iden's decision, Reign had set it in stone.
Putting his attention back to the phone, Iden spoke to Roan in quick, controlled tones.
We're withdrawing. Both Will and Reign believe we've been compromised, whether it's by the target or an outside force. It's a complication I'm not willing to risk. I'll call again when we're outside of town and away from prying eyes.

Clipping the radio to his pants and putting in an ear piece/mic, William grabbed his bags and sprinted out of the room; going as far as to jump from the balcony to the street. Running up to the truck and throwing his things into the bed of it, Will hopped into the cab, threw down his rifle, and started off towards the pumping station at breakneck speed.
"I'm on my way Iden, shouldn't be too long now; you and Reign be waiting at the door with your s**t ready to be thrown into the truck."

If Reign is right, pull out SLOWLY and NORMALLY. Dont draw excess attention. I'll meet you in the dunes outside the city to talk. Remember where we met last time, when you had Javos?

Got it.
Iden quickly hung up and snatched the radio. All his things were still in the duffel, leaving it a simple matter to heft his bag and step out into the open night air. Putting his ear to the radio, he called Will.
Alright. When you pick us up, we're going to go for the nearest route out of town, and loop around to the south. Take it natural, take it easy. No point in getting the law enforcement involved, got it?

Having been forced to slow down by the naturally shitty street layout, William was cursing the city planners entire family line for their insult to proper road construction. Breaking free of the town, William made for the pumping station as quickly as possible without garnering undue attention; glancing this was and that to make sure that there was nothing out there to attack him out of the blue. Pulling up outside of the pumping station William spun the truck around so that the back faced the building while sounding the horn, hoping that the two inside would hurry up and get their asses in gear.

Reign followed after Iden, but didn't hop in the truck; he went to snag his bag and toss it in. But again, he didn't get in the truck. He hadn't come IN on the truck so he wouldn't leave that way. He'd seen Iden's worry, and that set this in stone, no point in trying to talk him out of it.
"I'll meet you guys there, Don't want to make it look like you're smuggling someone new out."
Reign would crack a grin, then slip away into an alley after first making sure none were around to see him, and that it wasn't occupied. There he'd shift forms to the osprey again and Take the air. He didn't follow any particular path, just glided lazily on the updrafts heading south. This way, he could still keep an eye on his brothers, but still be fairly well hidden in plain sight.

Watching as Will withdrew suddenly a thousand thoughts ran though her mind at once. Was it her, could he have found her out? What was wrong?

Triste's HUD (Head up Display) Popped up in her peripheral, a global view of the geographic area appearing. Following the boys was no hard task for the sentient super computer as the immediate area was now well within view. She took a servay of the area's occupants and found neither the girl or the doppelganger anywhere.
Fears realized that Will was indeed being followed, Triste would continue to track him remotely as she disappeared into the thicket of the city with her new disguise.

Iden simply tossed the duffel into the truck, climbed into the seat, and nodded.
From there, he would guide Will to the point Roan had specified; it was a fairly brief drive of only a few minutes. In the meantime, Iden kept his attention fixed on the area around them. He was watching for...something. He didn't know what. Abominations and tainted garou, most likely, though God knew he was aware of far worse than just that as a possibility.
It was essentially down to absolute paranoia as they drove to the rendezvous point.

*As they neared the area roan had specified, the red haired woman would be seen only AFTER they drove past her, in the rear view, leant against the rocks as she was, and crouched, smoking.
Waving once, she'd slide down a sand bank into the shaded well of a dune, and wait to hear what they had to say*

Reign would spiral down after Roan's appearance to land in the said softly before his form swelled and reverted back into his natural,powerfully built human shape. At which point he'd pull out a smoke and light up.
"Something is in the area that the animals aren't too thrilled about."
He had no specifics. but he had seen and felt the animals. They were scared of something, but he couldn't tell what, when he'd posed his questions to them; their answers hadn't been the same, and were too simple to link together properly.
