That has nothing to with learning the technique...that is USING IT.

If you go to the Approvals forum, and go to the "Custom Approvals" thread, scroll down to jutsu, you would see a chart... there is "Attack Turn"... it's basically the same thing.

I THINK its to do with recovery time...

o 3o That's a lot to take it. I think I understand. So I'd have to make 10 successful posts, each of them having a dice roll of over 10 with the chakra control skill included. ....Right? D:

I knew you were competent in the system Winevy.

BTW, there is meant to be some training you do before doing techniques. Hand Seals and Chakra Molding. I think I forgot to put them in the Kumo Academy.

I don't know what you're talking about, lol but there are some handseal things in the academy. And if that's all there is, I'm going to need some more explaining. D: I just don't want to do anything wrong.

So wine, don't worry, in the end it's worth it. It will make it so you have more exciting battles, even against random fodder samurai and stuff. Like right now we are having an intense battle against some muscular guy, this genin squad of ours. Well in the end it stops godmoding and it also stops people from dodging all the attacks. Plus you can keep a pretty decent display of how much damage you can take.

I do not know the puppet system that well... even if your clan is slightly different, I still need to read that first...

You should of talked to Hiru while he was still around...

it was up when hiro was around...but we just got to converting it now ninja

Oh sorry... been some drama in Kiri...

Anyways...

Ninjutsu
The teacher shows you how to do handseals, when you made all handseals without mistake you pass the exercise. There are 12 handseals:

Bird: Tori
Boar: Ousu-buta
Dog: Inu
Dragon: Ryu
Rabbit: Usagi
Horse: Uma
Ox: O-ushi
Monkey: Saru
Ram: O-hitsuji
Rat: Nezumi
Snake: Hebi
Tiger: Tora

1d20 + int mod
DC: 10
12/12

So you need to roll 1 20 sided dice per hand seal. Add your intelligence mod to the roll. 10+ is a success. Therefore you then know that handseal. Once you have 12/12 of each hand seal, you are finished. RP doing the seals, 1 at a time.

This do this...

Chakra Control
Focus the chakra to your hands and practice molding the chakra.

1d20 + Chakra Control
DC: 10 + your Chakra Control
5/5

DC Fail: -2 Cp
Resting Post: +1 Cp per resting post. [Resting post must be at least 4 lines long. Training may not be included in resting posts.]

It is easy. Just RP molding chakra in shapes... etc.

Do this in Academy, or training grounds.

Well, actually, you should join the academy teacher and students...
