I swung my legs around to get a better sitting position on my bed and I hit my foot on the side table. It peeled back a little of the skin and at first it looked like it was just calluses, but soon the blood came. And now it's bleeding through the bandage. I promise you, I wasn't meant to have feet. At least it wasn't the cello foot.
.....Oorrr you were meant to be extra CAREFUL with your feet!!! heart

Yeah...it's WEIRD...I was born in 1970....so both Farrah and Michael were like BIG stars during my teen years....it's so STRANGE feeling.
I'm not grieving though....they were super-stars, but very distant to me personally....when Steve Irwin died though--I couldn't stop crying for weeks. The night before he died--I showed our youngest Crocodile Hunter Collision Course--as her "introduction" to the Irwins....and I was so looking forward to sharing Croc Files etc etc with her....our whole family really enjoyed watching anything the Irwins were part of. When I heard the news (ironically enough--probably before Terri and Bindi and Bob knew) I just went into shock, it was quite overwhelming emotionally for several weeks.
I imagine that's exactly what it felt like for many people when JFK died and Princess Diana--I'm one year older than she was when she died now...hmmm hadn't thought of that in a while. It's interesting how some celebrity deaths seem to touch some on an extremely intimate level....when by all reasonable means--we never knew them....it sure doesn't help the overwhelming emotional response to understand that. rolleyes
I'm very sympathetic to all who will be deeply affected by this news. heart
