Mephlius paused a moment before answering. "Julian. Her child..." If his train of thought, werewolf pirates, wasn't obvious enough... it was probably for the best.

Kuro was lost in his thoughts vampire ninjas, and was eventually overwhelmed by them as he fell asleep. Although not moving an inch he went from consciously aware of his surroundings, waiting for the smallest sign of an attack, to falling completely prone.

Amnity smiled, remembering Julian and how light and nimble her little girl was. "Yes, it's nice isn't it? That she has a child. I never knew!" She laughed, then saw the strange expression on his face. Well, it wasn't really strange, she just couldn't read it that well. She knew Mephlius enough though to know that that expression meant that he was thinking deeply. And of course, Amnity pressed on. "Is that all that's plaguing you Mephlius? You can tell me."

Amnity rolled her eyes and smiled, looking back out at the lake. "Very deep Mephlius..." Of course she was joking. It took her only a few seconds to come up with something else to talk about though, something she was meaning to ask before but never really found the time. "...About being a lycan, is there anything I should know? Some valuable information I should be aware of like...I can't eat vegetables or I won't be able to my reflection in a mirror?" She half joked. Amnity was inexperienced and new at the whole thing, so she thought she'd ask someone that has actually been a lycan his whole life.

Mephlius thought for a moment before answering. "In my experience... the best way to keep your Lycan side from taking over is with logic. It's practically an animal, but that doesn't mean it won't listen to reason. It also means you'd only go lycan when it's strategically advantageous to go lycan which... well... would be a good thing on some levels." He paused, and continued. "Other than that... there's nothing really secretive. If you have any specific questions, I could answer those better."

Amnity picked up a stone and tossed it into the lake. It skipped a few times before finally stopping and sinking into the water. She laughed. "I'm beginning to think that that's why God put me in this world...I mean, I obviously wasn't sent here to be a normal, kind person." She looked back over to him, beaming now. "No...I was sent here to keep you in line and making sure that you don't do anything stupid."

Amnity pretended to take a long time to think about it, then she smiled. "Deal. But does marrying you also come with the barrgain? Or am I going to have to offer up something more the table?" She grinned, staying close as she looked back out to the lake. "Keeping my sanity is a big task...You think you can handle it?"

"Good. How could the world ever stand another schizophrenic lycan woman walking around?" Amnity said in the most animated and sarcastic way. Then she pictured it. Wrath and insanity. They went so well together it was almost frightening. "...Be honest with me Mephlius...Am I that crazy?"
