ALSO.
How long is one post?
Punch, counterpunch, countercounter punch, interrupting jab, DOOMCOOK could fit three posts.
So could "advance, left jab, right hook" followed by "knocked off to the side, stepped into the punch, kick" followed by "catch the foot, attempt throw" followed by "jump in the air to kick person holding leg in the head" followed by "DOOMCOCK" could also be three posts, and they take different amount of times.

Which is more powerful? DOOMCOOK or DOOMCOCK ?

Evil Little Flayer So if a fight has yet to be ended by the ten-day time limit, are the judges just going to call the fight and then determine the winner based on scores? The judges always judge a fight, regardless of the fight coming to an IC conclusion. There's a lot of categories in the rubric that have nothing to do with the actual fight. So, one guy could have been a more entertaining and creative fighter though got kicked in the d**k a couple dozen times, and got more points than his opponent in that regard. Though, the person who ICly wins the match usually takes the match.

I like the way Griff did the Ygg in this department.
Just use common sense, people.

Well, forgive me for being a first-time tournament competitor and asking questions because I don't know how all these things work. I use plenty of common sense, Jaeger, and my common sense told me to ask such questions because I've never done this before.
I just didn't know how they handled fights "timing-out", and I also didn't know the point Naota brought up. If a character seems "defeated" in the fight, but the judges score the "defeated" character more highly than the "winner" then who actually takes the fight?
I didn't know that, and I thank Naota for taking his answer one step farther to try to clarify that, even though it wasn't something I asked.

The only questions you need to be asking is:
1) Is grading done? 2) When does the next round start? 3) Is grading done?
Rinse and repeat as necessary.

That is a very rare situation.
In fact, I can't actually think of a fight I've seen where someone won the fight, but lost on points.

One of those happened to me in the DT, Rhos. Technically, I got my a**-handed to me on account of a few bullshit measures, but I ended up coming back and skewering my opponent on a sword, but got the loss because of faulty-swordsmanship, apparently.

But it's still a possibility, is it not, Rhos?
I could think of a scenario. Fighter A is stomping all over Fighter B and has been the entire match, then Fighter A makes an error that exposes his/her weakness, Fight B capitalizes on said error+weakness and puts Fighter A down for the count.
So, while Fighter A had a better fight and performed more strongly, due to a character flaw and bad judgement he/she lost to Fighter B, who didn't fight as well, and therefore received less points, but still stands as the IC victor.
It could happen.
