Amnity's glare did not soften even as the supposed 'hunter', apologized. Her trust wasn't gained so easily, and he was one of the people that gave her the wrong first impression. Amnity stepped in front of Mephlius in a defensive way. Eventually, he disappeared, but then a fight erupted between the demon and Kerrigan. She was hesitant to take her order though, worried for her safety. "Should we help?" Amnity asked Mephlius.

I think I know, I mean I "Yes" but it's all wrong...

Mephlius paused, then put an arm on Amnity's shoulder. "It's too risky. If we try to engage him with our guns, we might hit Kerrigan. If we try to fight him hand-to-hand... you might lose it, and go lycan. Then Kerrigan's still in danger, and he can still run away." He paused, and his voice was a little more sure. "We should obey our orders."

Mephlius rolled his eyes. "Amnity, I'm insulted." He grinned, and began to walk away. "Let's go."

At such close quarters, she was unsure how he managed to avoid taking the brunt of her attack against him. However, what was done was done, and as the diagonal slash came towards her, there was little maneuvering she could do at such a close range. Compound that with the fact she was not one to use swords of any kind, leaving her with a switchblade and three remaining shredder glaives and it looked like she might be in trouble. Pulling two of the remaining shredder glaives from the back of her belt, she thrust them to the side so that there was the sound of clanking metal as her makeshift weapon collided with his own. Sure, they were normally used for throwing, but sometimes you just have to make due. His blade coming inches from her chest and stomach, she grunted a bit under the pressing force of his attack before giving a forceful shove to push them apart slightly before she brought one foot up into his chest and pushed off to send her back down the alleyway. Rolling backwards as her back connected with the ground, Kerrigan did a complicated twist along the ground as she slid a few inches back on her feet at the end.

At this point, Kerrigan cast a feral glance towards her opponent, all traces of the lively hunter receded into the crimson, hungry gaze of a vampire. She gave a quick shake of her head, her hair falling out of the bun which had gotten progressively looser with each movement she made. Her fangs elongated as time seemed to stand still for a brief second. However, as quickly as it seemed things had calmed down, Kerrigan was on the move once more. Taking off at a full sprint, her natural speed was only enhanced by her vampiric speed. As she neared him, it almost looked as if she was going to try to tackle him once more. However, suddenly she dropped to the ground, grimacing a bit as she slid across the concrete, kicking both her legs out in opposite directions towards his ankles in hopes of knocking him down. Regardless of whether her hits connected or not, she used her built up momentum to carry her right leg around and kick herself up into a standing position once more, ready for his next assault on her.

"No, but it hasn't stopped me in the past," she said with a small grin, not attempting to hide anything from him. She was still getting used to the whole thing, even after being turned for years now. She stood in a low fighting stance a few feet away from him as he launched himself into a second little monologue, which literally made Kerrigan laugh for the first time she could remember in a long time.

"You're right, it isn't fair to judge an entire race based on the actions of a few. However, I gave you the same offer I give almost all creatures - a chance to leave of your own accord. But just so we're clear, I was a hunter before I was a vampire, and that is where my loyalties lie. I don't presume to know everything about your past, just as you shouldn't presume to know everything about mine. I know who I serve, and I know my reasons for doing what I do. All I can do is be loyal to the organization I lost my life for, and whether in the end that comes back to bite me in the a**, at least I can say I went down with one hell of a fight." Her fighting stance never wavered as she gave her answer to her question, the words coming out of her mouth internally surprising even herself. She knew she would always be loyal to the hunters, but the last few months had shaken her confidence in herself, especially with her inability to keep her fiancee at her side, where he would have been able to avoid the tortures he had been subjected to. In her haste to get back into the hunting game, she had almost forgotten her purpose for leaving Haven in the first place, and now the anger began to burn in her chest once more, a soft hiss escaping her as she looked at him perched on top of the wall. She would normally keep fighting until he either ran, or she slaughtered him, but now more important things edged into her mind. Krii took priority, not this whelp who thought he had her figured out after 20 minutes of fighting.

"You going to keep this up, or can I go take care of the important business I have with your promise to leave the hunters alone?" It might have seemed a cop out, but she was suddenly antsy to get the information she needed to avenge Krii. She hated to let a demon continue to roam the streets, but she was more loath to let her love lay in Haven exhausted and unable to avenge himself.
