Meta Fish Gonbe Meta Fish Tatsuman If he shot up the place, he's a Psycho, and no longer a gamer. He has taken it beyond the realm of a game. If there is a specific case that you're talking about, tell me which one. I'm speaking about insane "gamers" in general. I've thought about it, but actually killing? No. Becoming a psycho doesn't disqualify you from being a gamer. Does smoking change you from a gamer into a smoker? No. I don't even think that this was really pushed by games. He could have watched videos containing shooting, or done some research. I really doubt that from playing Counter Strike he learned how to kill real people effectively. I might be being ignorant, but isn't killing people with a gun relatively straightforward? You point the thing at their head, and pull the trigger. I don't think you need that much training to be able to do that. Well, that's not what I meant. I meant that he did it tactfully, and killed 33 people, including himself. That's a big number, I'd say. Not when they're trapped in classroom. Anyone can do that. It's like shooting YOU in a barrel.

And I haven't read much about it, but I thought he went to two different buildings.

Waynebrizzle I think the guy started killing because of his girlfriend. Love made this man murder. I think she was never his GF, just someone he liked and she rejected him. Not only b/c of this but a lot of other thinghs in his life too. If you read everything in the new like I almost did about this case, you would undertsnad why he did that.. but that was and will never be a good enough reason to kill all those people like that. very very tragic.

I don't know the details but I think the first one was a dorm where he just killed a couple of people. *shrug* Shame on me for not following it closer. I mean it's on 24/7 coverage on all stations. Anyway, this really isn't something a game can teach you. You don't train to kill people by playing Counter Strike. GunZ maybe, but not Counter Strike.

He went to two different buildings. The dorm, and then the Norris engineering building. (Seems like it's a trend to go shooting up engineering buildings.)
According to the other students, he was "very thorough".
I don't know about the rest, but he did walk into a small German class, shoot the prof in the head, and start shooting the rest of the students, who hid underneath the desks. He left after a while, then came back, but the students barricaded the door.

From what I've read, this guy only stood about 5 ft 5 inches.

Tatsuman No, but there are different circumstances. Say dude "A" plays WoW so much that he actually decides to kill someone with a hatchet. For this to happen, one important thing has happened: He has brought the game into sort of a second life. Therefore, he is now a psychopath, and no longer a gamer. This is no longer a game to him In the case of this guy that used it for training to shoot, he still brought the game into real life and took someone else's while he was shooting up the place. I guess. Still, I don't know if video games are to blame, here. I mean, maybe he just loved guns. There are a lot of different circumstances. But I don't think this defines him as a psychopath. People can only take so much for so long until they break under the pressure.

You think Gunz teaches you too kill? No.
If you choose to let it teach you that, then fine. You can get good coordination and stuff, but I in no way at all think that any game could make any sane or insane person for that matter person want to kill anyone.

People have said that they made attempts to get to know him but he rejected them.
