Older houses do have storm shutters, though. Those things are amazing. ='D My friends close them whenever they go to bed, because no light whatsoever gets through. Their little house becomes like a bunker or a tank or something. ;w;
Anywho, posting today! D< I am determined to be productive!

Americans are pussies D`< Only 2cm of snow and the whole city of New York shuts down 9w9.
GUYS I WANNA RANT. So, I was all "hey! I'm starting classes Tuesday and I need a hair cut today since most places are closed on Sunday and Everything will be closed on Monday (holiday) and I didn't get on in like 3months while I usually get one every month an I look fuking ugly right now!"
So, being actually productive and everything, I walked 30minutes to get tot he nearest mall, because, if there's somewhere you're sure have hair salon, it's a damn mall.
Turnout I was wrong `>> The only Salon was one of those high fashion ones where you need to make an appointment 6months in advance unless you're Brad Pitt and where a simply cut cost 400$ (no kidding). So now I have to wake up early tomorrow to find a salon that can take walk-in before it closes (everything closes super early on the weekend here, go figure).
I hate that ;^;

Lone id like to note that maybe the city of NY shuts down
but WNY where bufalo is and where i live. it has to be several feet before we shut down anything lol. I always pray for snow days, but they never come. Ever.
Buffalo - "What is it.. 4 ft high? Shovel your s**t and drive safely to work. lets go people."
and -hugs- poor lone and your white people problems. lol i mean haircut issues. XD

@Osaka: There's nothign p***y about us. We fight bears in the morning, chop wood in the afternoon and build igloo in the evening! That, and we never lost a war, unlike you D<
@Princie: Well then, at least Buffalo gets to train you well. Shovel that snow and you'll conquer NYC.

I'm so useless in snow, it's amazing. ;w; I still can't over the fact that in Japan, snow comes to YOU. You don't have to drive for an hour into the hills to get a few inches to play with, you can just sit in your house, and the snow does the work for you~ =w=

And yet, the one you did win was ushered into obscurity and quickly forgotten. Hah, funny that.
And I highly doubt you've fought bears, chopped wood OR made igloos. You're going to a HAIR SALON, for god's sake! xD
@Loli -- In Soviet Russia, snow comes to YOU. Naturally, of course. ;D

@Loli: Your uselessness in snow is cute xD
@Osaka: We won more than one? And, you know, If Americans leaned more than American history (and if only the one you learned was actually right 9w9), you'd hear of it. But, I'll admit that I find it funny that the one time you attacked us (and we won), is never ever mentioned in your history. Actually o-o. I can't speak for ALL school in the USA, but I know that Serend's history classes never mentioned a single war that you guys lost o-o. Hell, it even said that you had won the Vietnam one with high praise and s**t O-o.
Edit@Osaka: What loli said o-o. WhaT's wrong with Hair Salon? Where else do you want me to get an haircut <<

It's not the hair salons, it's more like this:
'Fought bears, chop wood, made igloos...! D< But I'm having trouble finding a hair salon before noon. =_='
@Lone -- We live in denial, it's our schtick. xD
A barber, maybe? I guess a hair salon is more feminine, in my head. I don't know. -shrug- =P
Edit: By what I hear, they're cheaper, too. xD

Well, yes. I DO have to find one before noon or else I'll look like a hobo for another week and I dont want to look like that in my classes.
As for barber shop, they don't exist here o-o. Well, maybe they do, but the last time I actually seen one, it was like 20 years ago, and even then I'm not sure if it was real or not (like, on tv), because no one else remembers it.
