"..Heh, It's alright Toto-san.." He whispered to her in delight when she withdrew further away from him to watch or, look at him to see if anything was out of order besides the little smudge of dirt on his face and hands and the leaves in his hair. "Look what the lady at the Flower shop gave me!" He said happily in his whispering voice holding out the small Tomato to her before drawing it back to himself in glee.
"Does that make you happy?" River questioned Her head tilting to the side a bit in wonder. He was truly an interesting creature and despite herself she was fond of him. And every minute found herself thinking of reasons he should stay around. "Yeah, The lady was really nice to me!" He giggled innocently looking down at the shinny red fruit with thought. [[ Alright. ]]
Sha, though quiet couldn't go unnoticed he almost glowed in the dark with the color his hair was, and the way it was on his head. The one blue eye exposed at the moment gazing at the snake man as he moved. Dare he make noise? Dare he trouble the man with words which would never explain what he thought even with the most exaggerated ones being used. "...Hn.." He blinked since he was sitting against the wall he didn't see it fit to bother telling him where Silent was though he was instructed too. He didn't deem worthy of a lovely woman such as her but he Promised to do what he was told. "Hey..." He murmured as a start.

Daiki paused at the door and turned his eyes to Sha, seeing his body heat more than his actual person. "What is it?" He asked, remembering that he was a friend of Silent's. "Is everything all right?" He asked, sliding his long body across the floor closer to him.

Right he had to say something, Remember it now man. Looking at him At This person Silent was growing very fond of he shrugged his shoulder. "Silent, She..Went to the hospital..for.." He narrowed his eyes trying to recall the exact words she used with him. And the pause it made it seem like she was there because something happened to her but as he turned his gaze back up, Un worried and uncaring he sighed. "..Some...thing I can't remember she said she'd be back later tonight but by the looks of it I highly doubt the woman could make it back in the dark."
River ruffled Kadens hair softly and remained in the kneeling positionin front of him. He was just her height when she kneeled like she was and this made her smile a small smile. "Well kaden are you going to eat the Tomato?"
He just nodded his head and rose it to his mouth taking a large bite out of the fruit it's juices oozing out of it as he did so and chewed happily ignoring the sticky feeling it had when it dried. "You need a towel silly." River shook her head and stood up walking around the bar to get the towel needed to clean him up.

Daiki's eyes filled with worry as he walked towards the dresser. He pulled out a pair of jeans as he slid into his human form, quickly putting them on. "Then I'm gonna go out and wait for her." He said, pulling out a pair of sandals to protect his feet from the muddy ground. Running on legs would be slower, but easier to get around with than a tail and he could transform back when he found her. "Thanks for telling me." He added, pushing open the door to go out and look for her.

He blinked and smirked like a toad when he saw the concern run across the mans face. The hospital was never a trip for Silent and even if it was he still didn't think that's what she said; she'd be back tonight. It was observation and testing was it? She'd be back earliest tomorrow sometime which didn't surpise him any. Leaning back against the wall he stared at the dark pale room and took it all in, took it all in at once just like he trained himself to do.

River stood outside the door with Kaden in her arms in a loving manner. Just like a mother should love her child but Kaden was not of her blood. She could make him that way though. River knew everyones where-abouts and Kaden's was no exception. But for that moment when he disapeared when he was gone she felt a singe of fear shoot through her like a bullet of pain in her beating heart.
"Please don't do that again sleeping one.." River cooded to the silently resting Kaden who had snuggled close in her imbace. She was no longer standing but sitting to gaze up at the sky; she was safe.

Daiki emerged from the woods, dirty and tired. He sighed with a look of defeat and rubbed his forehead, slipping back into his half-snake form. "Evening, miss River." He greeted in a very tired and worried tone of voice. "You haven't seen Silent around, have you?" He asked quietly as he noted the sleeping Kaden in her arms.

It would drive her absolutly crazy to lose him again, because she already shed unnessisary tears for the small boy in frustration. It was sad really how she could care about A small child yet she could not show this love to anyone who she didn't concider Family, very close family. Maybe Vincent will see it one day but he is never around. Tomo is close but is never around her to let her do something like this for him; the brotherly like person he seemed to be to everyone that lives here. It was a tad cold but it was perfect to sit under, and she didn't want to sit on the roof because then the world wouldn't be able to see her happiness, and she couldn't have the ability to mock it with everything she's got. The stars would gaze down on her affectionetly if she was on the roof but here on the ground against the building under the stars and in front of the trees the world could see her, no the Univers could see her acomplishment. She smirked and sighed looking Daiki over with a raised brow.
"She went to the Hospital, I actualy walked her half way there the poor thing couldn't breath I take it." She taped her lips. "She didn't tell you?" River seemed at peace and much friendlier now that she wasn't worried half to death. " I'm sure she'll be here soon, might take a while but she'll get here." Gazing into the woods River scrunched up her face. "I will keep you company out here while you wait for her?"

Daiki looked back to the path and held his shoulders as he shook his head. "She didn't tell me at all." He said, feeling a little hurt by the fact. He moved over to the porch and sat down on a step, setting his elbows in his lap and his chin in his palms. "Thanks," He added, looking over at River with appreciation. "So, who is that in your arms?' he asked with a curious smile.

River nodded at his answer, gazing into the night with a thoughtful expression, "Sounds like she forgot..That or just didn't want to share a trip to the hospital with you.." River spoke softly rubbing her face quickly. Her eyes moved to Daiki she observed his face the smile then looked down at kaden with the softest and most caring expression she has yet to muster ever. "..Who him?.." She asked her fingers slowly moving over his eyes, tracing the Stitching on the missing one. "This is kaden; Sweet, sweet, Kaden.." She mustered her extreme care for the child very evident. Only a fool with no heart wouldn't see that she turly loved the Child with all she could muster. " This little...Runt wormed his way inside me; how do you get rid of something like that?" She asked him looking up to him with a small smile, though tired she was still firmly and fully awake.
Scanning the sky again she closed her eyes and inhaled deeply, sighing in silence as her eyes found themselves glued to the sky. "She is close.." River mustered softly, " Won't be long now.." She said to reasure the Man on the porch, taking great pride in his company since she didn't have much of it.
Silent, slowly walked the dirt under her feet as silent and secretive as the air around her. It felt painful at first but soon after walking for a while her Lungs took great likeing to the new and fresh air taunting her health with great pride it seemed. A song played in her head to keep her calm, though tired she never mentioned walking home to the Doctor, having him explain the full extent of Damage was heart-breaking. She didn't want to lose a battle she couldn't fight. "..." Gripping her shirt tightly in one hand she gazed down at the ground, dark as it may be she still knew where she was going. The pain was of some degree of Intensity in which she could not will it away. At one point she felt like Dying under that bed, sleeping beside a snake.

"Slow night tonight..." Lep leaned on the bar counter, yawning some. He considered the facts on why he should go to sleep right now, and the facts on why he should stay at his post. Right now, the two sides were evenly matched, and for the moment, he really didnt care. He looked to the door, then down at the small book he had in his hand. He had lost that scroll, but figured to go looking for it when news comes up about it again some time soon. Shaking his head, he struggled to keep the weariness away, still standing at his post behind the bar counter.

Daiki smiled at the child and kept his eyes on him for a few moments. How innocent and precious. He couldn't help but wonder what he looked like as a child. Until a few months ago, he had never seen himself in a mirror and his past was too fuzzy to remember if he had parents like him or not. River's second observation made him sit up strait and gaze at the path again. Sure enough, he could see the warmth of her body drawing nearer to the building and his heart leaped.

Kaden rustle and moved in Rivers arms and her eyes shot to him Almost like they where never off him, and she waited. Was he awake already? "..Mm..Toto.." He yawned loudly and shifted more before resting his head onto her arm curling up. His eye was still closed but he was surly enough rising from his wake and River sighed in disapointment. Would he fall back asleep before he opened his eye? She hoped to god he did because it was so peacful just sitting. "..Sleep now.." River said softly to him, running fingers effortlessly into his softly clean hair, and now much to River delight he slipped back into a dreaming state, still and breathing.
Sighing she coughed a bit, which made her frown in annoyence, would this ever stop? The Doctor said it would eventualy then one day she'll just pass out from lack of air. He had medication for that and said- if it did ever happen to have someone help her breath it in. She didn't understand that; help on breathing until he explained it to her. Shaking her head her feet continued to move her chest numb, thankfully the air cool inside them despite her bodies protest on feeling much of anything. The lights of the inn where dim but enough to rise a smile back onto her face as she walked, clutching a small white paper bag in her hand that held her prescriptions. There was enough in there to last her quite the while- thanks to the pestering of a nurse who was ever so kind to her. "..Home.." She murmured narrowing her eyes in question on the shadows at the front door.

Daiki looked at her approaching form hopefully and stood up. He smiled, shielding his arms from the chilly evening. "Silent!" he called out to her as he waved. He slid down from the porch and headed towards her. He moved quickly, but when he reached her, his embrace was gentle and considerate of any pain she might be in. "I was worried..." he murmured.
