Rose sighed, hanging her head.
Nick frowned, slipping out a gold bracelet.
"I was gonna give this to you....and ask you to go out with me, Rose. The day you died....but you've moved on from the way you used to be, and I loved the old Rose. If I can find some way to attach some of this gold to the arrow..."
Rose looked at him, her eyes full or regret, pity, sorrow?
"Thank you."
She said, knowing that he did still care about her, and was going to help her.
"Sure thing."

"Good idea."
Rose commented, summoning a vine and yanking it out of the ground.
He smiled and took it from her.
"Glad to see you haven't lost your green thumb."
He took the vine and wrapped the gold around the tip with the fine. He set it on his bow and aimed for the orb.

Angel coughed one last time, before falling to the ground unconcious.
Rose and Nick cursed at the same time, but diffrent words. Rose ran forward and ran around Inu, searching for the orb. Nick was close at her feet, his arrow ready.

"Too late!"
Nick stopped, pulled back the bow string and let the arrow fly. It hit the orb at the right spot, and it slowly started to crack.
Rose cringed as she felt a strong pain in her chest and put her hand over her heart.
'What the hell....?'

Rose noticed this and rolled her eyes.
"Now Kurama, what did I tell you about threatning to kill my friends?"
