Haka walks quietly, folding her arms inside of the long sleeves of her kimono. She reaches up and finds the fan she keeps hidden in her robe, and uses it as a form of comfort. She looks down and stares at the ground as she walks, though she keeps up with the rest. She murmers a quiet thank you to the Harper for guiding them, and waits for the rest to step forward. She's as quiet as she was before, once again wthdrawn into her shell. She doesn't say anything else..and she squeezes the fan in her hand tightly. She brings her hand from her robes, and lifts her eyes from the ground to the sky..trying to shut out all the whispers.

Nero looked at Haka, noticing how withdrawns she seemed after being so loud and into the convorsation....he was almost going to say she should be thier leader...but it would seem that she wasn't quite the person that she seemed a few minutes ago. He just smiled politely as he looked at her and he walked over and wrapped hjis arms around her, giving her a big hug. "Cheer up!" He said happily as he let go and he kept walking. But before he reached the camp he kicked the ground and he took off into the air, the angelic wings spreading behind his back as he lifted off into the sky. "I will watch from up here, and make sure everything is okay. It would be silly and foolish of all of us if nobody was on the defensive here, just incase something goes wrong, or this whole thing is just a hoax." He said, thinking about all of the possibilities....or at least trying to. "So, will someone relaythe sage's message to me when you are done? If so, then I will just keep watch in the sky, and make sure that you stay away from harm, it will be alright." He said with a bright grin as he looked down on them and he took in a deep breath as he hovered about ten feet in the air, after he had spoken he went another thirty feet up and he stayed there, keeping above them and not being rash by going in himself before they did too.

It happened so fast, she didn't even have time to move. Most likely Nero didn't understand. It was hard to fathom, really, but the minute he'd touched her, it was a good thing he'd jumped back so fast. The fan fell out of her hand, and her sleeves became deadly, three swords slashing from either sleeve in the direction of where she'd been grabbed. Her breathing had accelerated, and her entire body was almost glowing. Her eyes had become wide, her pupils dilated, and it looked like she was about to scream. Every inch of Haka was shaking, and she sank to her knees, the blades plunging into the ground as she dropped.
It wasn't even out of thought. This reaction had been bred into her from the time she was born, and the whispers in her head were out of control. She wraps her arms around herself and continues to shake as if she were freezing cold. It's a physical reaction brought on by phobia; she can fight it if she has to, but once she's been touched, it's over. She hates it..but she can't do anything about it. Even a little touch is enough to send her into fits, and that was a lot more than a little touch. She just stares at the ground, unblinking..not moving from her spot..

"Nero-Baka!" Tsume moved forward, tugging her jacket off her back and tossing it around Haka's shoulders, positioning herself between Nero, and Haka, without touching the girl behind her.
"She said she's afraid of men. What about that don't you understand!? It's a fear, a phobia. She may be useless to us now because of you. You have to give people their personal space. You're lucky you moved, or she'd have gutted you," it was strange, how Tsume kept going from observer to instant action. She'd done it before too, when Aoi had been talking about them.
"We understand that you want to make her feel better, but there are better ways to do that. And for gods sake, get down! Don't you understand the meaning of stealth?" she growled. "And you're supposed to be a ninja."
She sighed then, turning back, speaking softly, though she maintained her distance from the young woman.
"Haka, are you alright?"

Nero quirked a brow as he looked first from Haka to Tsume...why did everyone seem to loo kdown at him like that. He knew that she had hated men, she said she dispised them....though I didn't remember sayingshe had an intense FEAR of them. His eyes widened as he instantly moved from where he was down to the ground beside them, the body flicker technique. He looked wide-eyed as he stood there and his head went looking to the ground. "I appologise...I....I didn't know that she was so afraid...I thought....I thought she just hated men. Tsume...I am sorry that I am such a faliure in your eyes. I do believe if we should have a leader. It should be you." He said with a nod, though he would not look her in the eyes. He merely kept his eyes level with the ground and walked away, to the back of the group and waited. He felt like she may have been a little too harsh, all he was trying to do was help....though it seemed like even trying to do something right in this group would only get you chastized. He just sat back and watched as best as he could....keeping a good ten meters away form anyone. He just kept staring at the ground, and didn't seem to move at all as he stood there, still as a statue. He wouldn't interfere with anyone again.

"I said that..because it was also true..but..I will be fine.."
Haka just sighs..slowly shaking off the effects of what runs through her blood. She stands up, slowly, and shakes her head from side to side. She places her blades back into her sleeves, as well as her arms, and she bends to pick up her fan. She addresses Nero then, where he is ahead, as quietly as possible...
"We do not speak of it much. In my blood, there are many whispers. The touch of males repulses us, ever since the moment we are born. Unless we are in total control of our every action regarding them, it can become a deep seated fear. In the young ones, like myself, this is common..in the older ones, it becomes a vicious rage that becomes a destructive rampage. It's more than just a hatred. It's...genetic. Our clan Ancestor has passed down her genetic memory, her hatred, fear, and more. In our Clan, males have two uses. Labor, and breeding. Outsiders are rarely told..but we have to know one another to function..so.."

Lifting one finger, Tsume shook her head slightly.
"She said that they had a hatred, and fear, of men. Being someone who has some fears of my own, I understand. They can be gripping, and even violent," she spread her hands slightly, and lifted one finger, her previously harsh expression softened into a smile.
"It isn't exactly your fault, Nero-nii, but you have to be careful about someone's personal space. That's important. Afraid or not," when he suggested him as a leader she lifted her hands, waving them back and forth in front of her, almost comically. "Me? L..leader? No. I'd do a terrible job."
And then, that sobering expression again.
"But we do need someone to act as leader. I don't know if Haka-nee can.. especially if it requires any close contact with males.. Aoi-baka is too stuck up..." an obvious jibe at the other male on the team "and you're very obvious with your wings, though that doesn't detract from leadership skills... We haven't yet assessed everyone's talents and skills individually, which we really need to do, prior to entering the encampment. The first thing that we need to do is get an idea of one another's skills. Haka-nee is fast, incredibly fast. Your wings give you an obvious aerial advantage.. I'm pretty strong, and have an inherent second nose." she pointed up to Kiko, the cheetah cub that chirped on her shoulder.
"Aoi-baka has a really good defense with those bones of his.. I think we've got a well rounded team, though they're usually only a three man group.. and our mostly silent friend.. well.. I don't know yet what he does.." referring to the earthy young man who hadn't spoken up in a while since chastizing Aoi.
"Though most missions are three mans, I suppose since we're not even genin yet, that us being a five man group isn't exceptionally rare. In that case, I suggest that we put this to a vote, based on skills and merits, to see who should be leader from here, until we return back to the classroom," one finger was lifted as this point as she spoke, and she moved over after several moments, giving Nero a pat on the shoulder, a small red spot left where she'd touched him. The same thing she'd done before. That blood dot, to sense him by scent.
"I'm sorry if I was harsh. But.. that was very impulsive, ne?"

He listened to everything she had to say...she sounded like a leader to him, she had assessed everyone already, and she was making a good run at it too. He just smirked as he stood there he had lifted his head and heaved a sigh, trying to carry away his annoyances with the breath as he stood there, so he had walked a little closer, realizing he was a little bit too childish when he did things like that. He needed to be more of a ninja. He looked up towards Tsume as she touched him on the shoulder and he looked to her with a nod as he smiled ever so slightly. "You are right anyways, you weren ot harsh nor were you impulsive. I was just...taking it a little too much to heart. I shouldn't have, and I know you are correct...that it wasn't right of me to give away a position like that, even if I thoguht it was a correct thing to do. As well as the fact that I should have remembered to give her personal space, you were just telling me my faults and I should have been better aboutit, and realized that I just needed ot work on it, rather then taking it as an insult." He said with a nervous scratch on the back of his head. "But I believe you are correct...we should probably see everyone's skills before we enter the camp, or decide on who is the leader." He said with a nod.
"Well, I know my wings can be a little bit distracting and obvious. But they do not need to be." He said with a smile as he tucked them up tightly against his back, from the front it would look like he was normal, though maybe a feather here or there would be visable. "Though, I am not quite sure what you want to know about skills, since I have never been on a mission before, none of us have, I havn't had time to expand me knowledge too much about what I am very good at or what I am not. I can do a few interesting things I suppose." He said with a shrug of his shoulders. "My skills from my clan are quite different then most, I can track down enemies by attatching chakra ropes to them by sight, and I can move around pretty quickly." He said with a smile as he dissapeared form where he was standing and re-appeared a few meters away. "Though I guess I am not too stand-outish when it comes to skill, so I won't be voting myself as leader." He said with a laugh and another shrug of his shoulders. He seemed pretty at ease and carefree about it, but when it came to selecting a leader he was extremely serious, and he was very determined to make the leader someone he could trust his life to. Someone everyone could trust their lives to. He smiled as he stood there, waiting for someone else to explain their own skills, since that was what Tsume had suggested they do. Though he wasn't going to demonstrate any of his secret skills or such, he had a couple, but he was not going to just sit here and showboat himself. "So, what are you guys good at?" He asked encouragingly.

"I..my mother says I am the prodigy of my clan. The heir. I am capable with ninjutsu that are unusual to possess for my age, and I have a dance-style of taijutsu utilizing chains, ribbons, and thin blades. I also.."
She hesitates..and then shakes her head from side to side.
"I can learn what someone's fears are, their emotions as well, and magnify them with eye contact..it is my clan's bloodline ability..and a very well kept secret..I read emotional auras when I use that power. Akashingan.."

She nodded as she listened to Haka-nee. Good skills to possess.
"I'm strong. I have a very keen sense of smell, and with the dots of blood I've placed on you all by brushing you, I can keep track of where you are. My senses are highly enhanced, I'm quick, and Kiko here is my support partner. Most of my skills are Taijutsu, though I also possess a bit of medical skill. I can only do the most basic things, but that's important regardless. As far as my strength.. I.. can't give you a demonstration because my Nee-san said to stop knocking down trees," rubbing the back of her head, laughing. Was this little whip of a girl serious? Knocking down trees?

When Nero heard Haka say something about being the prodigy of her clan, something in the back of his mind kind of snapped and he placed a hand over his right temple for barely a second because of the mental discomfort. He was a little confused as to what that feeling was; but it wasn't a very welcome one. He looked to her and he listened to Tsume too and he sighed, they had both shared most of thier abilities whilst he had shared a scarce ammount of his. "Well...alright, I wasn't really planning on spilling out my abilities to you guys, because I was always told that revealing ones skill is a quick way to die. But we're working together right? So I will tell you my full capabilities." He said with a kind smile as he heaved a sigh.
"I am able not only to fly, but to use the wind as an extraordinary force, to slam people away or to do such things, but I can also see the wind, and it's paths, allowing me to see any disturbance within the wind from incoming attacks, large or small. I said I can track people by attatching chakra ropes to them, but I can also use that ability to attack them, for they are not only a tracking urpose. He said as he looked right at Tsume's hand and from his pupils shot golden strands of chakra that wraped around her wrist and he pulled them gently just to demondstrate by moving her arm. He then let the strands fade away. I can see up to four hundred meters infront of me, and I have the ability to create a chakra feild around me that is so thick that it slows down the enemies attacks, making for an easy counter-attack opportunity." He said with a nod. "That is the extent of my skill at this point." He stated with a nod, heaving a sigh, and feeling a little better that he wasn't hiding anythign from his team-mates. "But both of you seem to have very unique and very useful skills." He said with a smile.

Maizen's eyes flashed angrily towards Tsume. "Yes, stop knocking down trees. How would you feel if someone snapped YOU in half? If you're going to fell such a magnificient creature, at least target the old and sickly... they like to have some purpose in the world after their age has passed." There was an obviously angry tone to his voice, and wheresoever his feet rested, small flowers, grass, and saplings began to slowly sprout. It was also odd that he referred to trees as creatures.
He snorted, calming slightly, but not enough that his confidence was replaced with the mouse-like meekness he seemed to be constantly plagued by. "As for me, my name is Bokusouchi Maizen, I am a medical-nin in training." His gaze cut back to Tsume as he walked. "And I am a tree." Those vividly nature-green eyes of his gave off a soft luminescence before dying back down to their natural hazel as he turned back around, and began fumbling with the strap on his bag.

Watching Maizen, Tsume merely shrugged.
"Most of the trees I hit don't fall. I try to hold back. But sometimes, you just can't help knocking into a tree or two. There's so many of them everywhere," her hands spread then, and while she seemed to appreciate Maizen's stance, she didn't seem as though she'd waiver.
"So you're a tree huh? I doubt you're 100% tree or you'd be standing alongside the road, not up and walking. But I can understand how you feel. I feel the same when one of my family members dies on a mission.. but death is part of life.. tree or person... So, all of that aside, it's nice to meet you Maizen-nii," and hands folded behind the back of her head, and she bounced briefly on her heels.
"So now we're down to the hard part. Who becomes leader?"

Nero looked at the other member of the group. He would consider himself as a leader, if only he remembered his past. He never really got over the fact that he didn't know the honest truth about who he was, and any sort ofd uncertainty in a leader was never too good. He just kept his mouth shut about that, because he probably wouldn't even do a really good job, and he had already messed up enough relationships in the group to be a disrespected leader in the long-run anyways. He looked up to Tsume and he nodded to her. "Well, I myself don't find this to be too hard a thing at all." He said, shrugging his shoulders. "I think it is rather obvious it is you who should be our leader. Though that is only my oppinion, I think there should be a vote, and mine is cast towards you." He said with a bow. "You just seem like a more likely choice, you make good decisions, and you seem to know what you're doing. As well as the fact that you already know where we all are all of the time from that thing you did to us. But we'll see what everyone else thinks." He said with a nod. He was curious to see who everyone else would pick to be leader...since they wouldn't all be thinking alike to him, or so he thought.

By the time Tsume looked back, there was inexplicably a tree standing not but six feet to her side, with lush green leaves and supple branches, obviously juvenile. It wasn't much taller than the students themselves by trees go, only another four or five feet. Maizen was nowhere to be seen.
