A dark figure standing off partially hidden amidst the rocks in the cavern gave an eeirie smile and vanished, returning to a location deep within the shrine beneath the City Catacombs. He stepped over to a large crystal mirror, and the image of the twins and their two allies appeared. He walked over to a silver orb jutting out from a large mural in the wall, and placed his hands on it "Come forth, my Guardians of Reason, and deal witht he intruders!" The dark, demonic figurss depicted in the murals scattered throughout the shrine and city sprouted from the walls, taking on a physical form. They quickly headed out, homing in on the hot springs and the campsite. He teleported swiftly, reappearing at the Hot Springs, right above Xiaedessa "Iris, it is time, you shall fulfill your purpose with I" In an instant, she was in his arms, in a stupor, nearly unconscious "Come" He teleported back to the shrine, and headed into the main chamber, placing her upon the Altar of Reason.
The Guardians quickly surrounded the hot springs areas, intent on killing everyone, completely unfeeling and soulless. Off a ways, another group surrounded the twins.

Zangonya was up in an instant and sent a charged bolt at the perpatrator, but he was gone with her cousin before she could even get a good glimps of him. She could not trace him, as he had no aura to speak of, and then she sensed the presence of hundreds of dark forces within the jungle surrounding them. "BARRIER, SHINE!" A large white light filled the area, lighting the area up like a beacon, as a barrier of pure light encircled the hot springs, keeping the Guardians out for a moment
Cosmona jolted out of the water as the stranger appeared and took Xiaedessa, then turned and nodded to Patwinka "I guess then, it has begun, unfortunately, much sooner that we had predicted...." She turned to the others "Everyone we must round up, if we do not stick together, we shall die"
Cara charged through the jungle, knocking guasrdians out of the way, comign to a swift halt next to the twins "Hop on, and brign those two, you ust get back witht he others at once, it has begun, and Xiaedessa has already been taken!"
Asuka stirred, and stood up quickly. ahe turned to Haruto abruptly "C'mon, we have to get back, I just saw it, we need to get Koori and meet up with the others, she and I have an important job to do" She turned and quickly mounted the Kirin

Patwinka turned as the others arrived, and stood solemnly "Asuka, Koori, your timing is impeccable. Xiaedessa has been taken by Brahma, the Guardian of the Tiara of Iris, and unless she is recovered, I fear our mission will fail. He is not to be taken lightly, as he has many ancient powers no longer obtainable today, and his giardians cannot be defeated unless he himself is defeated. Bardok, Izumi, Koori, and Asuka, you four must go into the city now, and find the entrance to the shrine deep within the maze-like catacombs beneath the City's Grand temple. Brahma will no doubt need time to use Xiaedessa to break the seal on the inner sanctum, so you must get to them before he can do so. As for all the rest of you, we shall stick together, and make our way back to camp. Fight only the ones that matter, and be as quick as possible. Once we reach camp a barrier will be set to keep the guardians at bay." She swiftly grabbed her clothing and dressed within seconds, and stood by the pathway back to camp, as a guardian leered ahead, waiting to strike as soon as anyone left the Springs

Izumi emerged from the bushes nearby, groaning with a red smack mark on his face. "C.mon, Bardok, I guess we got a job to do" He dressed himself, grabbed his sword, and walked over to Asuka and Koori "We will go ahead and clear a path, meet up at the city gates" The two of them darted off into the trees, and sounds of Hardballers and flames could instantly be heard

"Please forgive me, but must remain with the rest of them" Cara reared back, tossing Kyosuke off as gently as she could. She sent a message directly to Asuka and Koori mentally "Hold tight, and brace yourselves, we're charging now!" She bolted through the jungle at incredible speed and agility, charging past a few guardians slipping through their grip, leaping off of the small cliff, and landing smoothly on the ground next to the city walls. She rushed around and to the gates, plowing through the guardians with her strong pointed horns. She sentered the gates and came to a halt in front of the two elementals "This is where I must leave you, it is up to you from here on out"
Asuka kept calm as the events unfolded, and they rushed to the city. She knew what she had to do, she had been given a vision just before she came to, and Xiaedessa had given her the rundown. she helped Koor off of Cara, and patted the beast in thanks "Koori, can you walk, or do you want me to carry you?" She gazed at Koori with eyes full of concern

Asuka looked cautiously at her uncles as she plopped down onto the stone walkway leading off into the city "Tell me abou tit! things have been getting way too hectic lately..." Suddenly, Cara returned, carrying their clothing as well as Asuka's weapons and Asuka's backpack full of snacks. Asuka grabbed their stuff, and smiled as the Steed rode back into the jungle "Well, I guess our problem is solved" She tossed Koori her clothing, then slipped into hers, keeping an eye on her uncles while behind a large pillar. She walked over to what appeared to be a sort of outside lounge table, and sat down with her bag, opeining it up "Well, it's nothing but junk food, but it's all we got right now" She pulled out aba box of big Cheese-It and began munching away
Bardok dragged Izumi away by his collar as the girls went to dress. He turned to Izumi once they were away, his expression unfeeling and brutish "Listen up, you need to keep focus and keep your lecherous eyes down to a minimum, we got a mission and it is top priority" He dragged Izumi back, and went and sat down with Asuka "You know, Xiaeriene and I were exploring this place today, we found an armory full of interesting weapons, Koori can find a weapon there"

Bardok Grunted irritably at Koori's demand, pointing his Hardballers at her "How's about I tie you up, gag you and have Izumi drag you along while I blast everything in my path....sound good to you?"
"Bardok, put a sock in it, your Hardballers won't do any more good than the rest of our weapons, as the Guardians are not defeatable, the get back up less than a minute after they fall." Asuka smiled to Koori nervously "Koori, why don't you come over and have something to eat first? I know it isn't much, but you'll feel much better if you eat a little something" She popped open a bottle of Ramune and took a gulp "Besides, we have time to rest, the Shrine dude can't break the barrier until sunrise tomorrow anyway. Plus, the guardians will be everywhere, so stealth is not an option. However, I have a plan, and though it is risky, it will save us a lot of annoyance by allowing us to avoid the guards almost completely." She winked "And besides, after we do this, I am going to force the Headmistress to let us use the Hot spring ourselves, just the two of us, for the remainder of the trip"

Brahma stood with his back to Haruto, and sighed "Pillar of Balance, My Lord Vishnu, please, return from whence you came, this is not your trial, and you will not interfere" He stood excactly as hhe was, qnd showed no signs of preparing to fight
