Oliver shook his head, "i am fine, sire. i was-" he knewe he had to admit his sin and accept his punishment, "i was gossuping about my lord Leo and his family. someone like me," he shook his head, "i have no right to speak of them. forgive my rudeness." they were at the tent now and he held the flap open, bowing as he moved to the side for the king to enter first.

Tsume actually face palmed, "nothing like that!" he glanced at the sleeping family to make sure he didn't wake them. "sure, he got drunk, but he wasn't forced to do anything. look, in Falia rape is one of the worst crimes we can possibly imagine. the punishment is death, without exception. they would have never dreamed of being with your father if he was unwilling. our wines and waters have," he tried to word it right, "special qualities. it gives you strength and youth, the only difference is that the wine also adds the happy drunken feeling to the mix. i'm sorry i made it seem his was forced, i swear to you he was anything but. seduced, yes, but not forced."

Leo hear Tsume's voice and slowly swam to consciousness. he looked around and saw they were back in the same tent from earlier, his family sleeping by his side. he was tired, so very tired, but most importantly, his throat burned with the need for water. "Tsu-" he whispered, but the wolf was beside him before he could finish, a cup of water in his hand. Leo smiled, knowing Tsume would always be there to take care of him, and Elliot too for that matter. Tsume helped him sit up and he sipped from the water, feeling it trickle down his throat and spread. he was surprised to taste the sweet, pure water of his home and looked at Tsume curiously.

Tsume shrugged, "figured we'd need it."

Leo nodded and drank three more cups, just as slowly, before refusing another. his stomach growled and Leo blushed, "is there something to eat? i'm going to need more energy than just sunlight after today."

Leo shook his head, "bread sounds perfect. Miss Chelsea, could you get me some, please?" he waited for her to do so before he started to eat, taking small bites and chewing them slowly. "how is everyone doing? are they ok, does anyone need more help?" he asked of the king.

Tsume shook his head, and gently tapped Leo's forehead, "you've done enough for now. if someone needs help, we'll help, but you rest." he looked up at Oliver and held out his hand for the bag. "half, huh? not bad. you fill everything you got? no need to hesitate, prince. Clean water is one thing Falia's got a plenty. well, that and trees."

Leo nodded, "good, i am glad we were able to help." with his stomach full and his thirst quenched, he was starting to fall asleep again. he couldn't keep his eyes open and soon, he was slumbering on Tsume's shoulder.

Tsume eased Leo down next to his family, "all you need to do is be there should we ever need your help." he shrugged, "scratch your back, you scratch mine..." he frowned and sat back a bit, "though-" a smile spread across his face, "i do know some dragons that wouldn't mind being able to stretch their wings out in a place like this. maybe we can work a deal that way." he looked over the King, "you should rest. it's been a long day for all of us. do you need to check on your family in morning?"

Oliver slipped beside the master and his husband, a large fan in his hands, and began to move it up and down, fanninf cool air over them while he translated.

Tsume frowned, "that's rough. grief is a terrible burden to bear and even worse to bear alone. i'm not one to keep from speaking my mind, so i'll say this, i think shutting away those that are mourning is one of the worst things you can do. they need to be out and about with the community, hugged by their friends and neighbors and allowed to mourn as they need, not locked up in some tent." he shrugged, "but your ways are not my ways, i delt with my grief in an entirely different way." he'd raised Nix and did everything he could to track Leo down.

Tsume shrugged, "maybe that works for you. i just don't care for shutting people away that need comfort." he settled back, "your new elder or your old elder?" he asked curiously, "what's the new elder like, anyways? though, might want to save talking about them for when Leo's awake. he'll be interested." the gods knew the elders were interested in Leo's family. seemed that way at least. he knew of the boy's powers, there was no way Leo could keep something that big from him, but he was keeping it secret as well. "when this is all over you have yourself a good cry. you don't have to go into mourning or whatever, but don't bottle it all in. it's not safe."

Tsume shrugged, "alright, just make sure you do your time in the tent, my friend." he moved to the babies and started playing with them, not wanting to cause any more trouble than he had.

Oliver looked at Tsume and then back to the prince, "If i may?" he asked softly, "i think he speaks out of worry for you. he does not mean disrespect to you or your elders it is just...just his way? he is a caregiver of sorts, he takes care of people but is a bit rough in doing so. forgive any insult he may have inferred."

Tsume smiled, but his eyes were sad, so unbearably sad. "Naw, kids aren't in the cards for me. not one can be so lucky as Leo and Elliot..." his hand clenched for a second before releasing, "even if i wanted to-" but he shook his head and glanced at Chelsea, "sorry, too much information, right?" he laughed and picked up Yuki, "i'll just have to content myself with these guys here."

Oliver moved as ordered, he could still fan from beside the king. "he is blunt, it is his wolfish nature. he doesn't pad his words, but i think he is valued for that, especially as an advisor. i know he is irreplaceable for my-for Sir Leo." he smiled a little, "he-i can see him being such to the elders themselves. indeed, i think it may be impossible for him to be any other way."

Tsume nodded, "maybe adoption. hadn't thought of that, but it's Kashi's choice." he grinned when she commented on how cute the boys are, "damned right. these little punks are going to be heart breakers when they get older, just you wait." he saw Yuki was starting to get fussy and got his bottle, feeding the baby and soothing him. "are there any guys in your acquaintance that, if you were so inclined for motherhood, you might drift towards?"

Oliver looked at him curiously, "what need is there for apology? you said your bit and he said his. i doubt Tsume is going to apologize for speaking his mind so why should you have to for speaking yours?" he really didn't understand, why would a king ever apologize? even if he weren't a king, the situation didn't call for apologies.
