nick nodded. when she was gone. he stood up to go get cold water. he fell his head hitting the floor.
mara began crying as she watched him lay limp.

Hollis ran back to the room, hearing a thump. She saw Mara pointing at the floor. She looked and saw Nick there. "Oh..God!" She shrieked and put him on the bed. He was sweating, his fever getting worse. She ran to Alice's, pounding on the door, "ALICE! I need you! Nick is sick! Really sick!" She said through the door.

" hang on." she said picking jacklyn up she put her on the bed with leon.
(( the baby's color is black.))
Jacklyn smiled and made a face at leon.
alice pulled her robe on and then asnwered the door. she looked at the pale faced holly.
" what does he have?"

"I don't know! Last night he was fine, I woke up, he had a fever and I wanted you to check it out. Now he's unconscious!" She said, tears streaming down her face. "He wouldn't tell me what was really wrong. Just that he felt queesy!" She said, scared.

alice went into their room and felt nicks forehead. he indeed was burning up. she looked at his head for a moment. she then began to look under his clothes, to make sure he didn't have that rope parasite.
she did find a dark circle on his hip.
" did you bite him?" she asked holly making sure.

Hollis looked at the circle, "Bite him...?" She was so confused, "No, I was sleeping the last 6 hours, I've been up for an hour. I've barely talked to him. We only kissed last night. Is that a bite mark?" She said, tears streaming her face again.

alice sighed knowing exactly what it is.
" holly....he has cancer....that is a tumor..." she said feeling remorse corse through her.

Hollis fell to her knees, "A-Are you sure? Can you heal it? Do something!" She said, breaking down. Nick was the only person she had. She couldn't live without him. Maybe it was early.

Leon laughed when the child made the face at him. He made a face back at her. He smiled when she giggled. He knew Alice had more enrgy now. He played peek a boo with the little girl.
Jacklyn giggled when Leon showed his face after hiding it. Her tail moving gently.
Leon tickled the little girls ears. Jacklyn giggled. Leon laid down so his head was level with the little girl.
Jacklyn stood up and took a couple steps towrds Leon and grabbed his ears. She giggled as she played with them.
Leon let her play with his ears. He twitched them to give her more entertainment.

alice looked at it.
"if it isn't cancer holly...don't get your hopes up. but it may be something else...let me go look in one of my books...." she said and turned on her heel walking out.

Mell got up, she through her cloak back on. "They need help downstairs in 3 minutes and 14 seconds." was all she said before heading toward the door, 'You havn't been out for a while, would you like to come?' Her head poked back in, "We could bring the baby."

jacklyn opened her mouth and bit one her fangs sinking into it. she gnawed on his ear. her tail wiggling quickly.
alice walked in quickly and then opened a book she pulled from the shelf. she opened it and read. she continued to read until she found it. closing the book she walked back to holly.
" he has hypoxia....it may turn into cancer it may not. it's when the oxygen supply isn't getitng to the cells and they are beginning to die away."

Hollis looked at Alice, "Can it be fixed?" She asked, scared
Hollis wasn't able to function without Nick. She took his hand, "Nickkkkk, please." She said crying. She looked to Mara, sleeping in her glider. She had Mara, and another on the way. Nick couldn't die. She would die if he died.

alice sighed again
" no...you can only hope....if he faints, has episodes where the wind is knocked from him, goes into a coma, or....passes away...I need to know." she said and hugged holly wishing her the best. she then bowed and turned leaving the room. she stood in the hallway for a moment as tears came to her eyes.
