Kale growled when he saw his opponent regenerate, but then a whole bunch of his lackies came and attack, and with most of his blood nearly gone after feeding Kaida, Kale was more than eager to fight back without mercy. He immidately invaded each mind and made them knock themselves out. Then he drank each of their blood, getting his daily feed and more than enough for Kaida when he reached her again. Hearing a ticking sound, Kale jumped out of the window and raced after Kaida, her mind still connected with his, unfortunately she couldn't see a thing. He was able to read the ring leaders plan from the beginning and didn't fall for it. No, he followed the lackies that were left behind. 'Kaida, don't leave me alone.' he begged her softly in her mind, she may or may not hear the words, but her heart would feel the truth of what he was conveying. He was trying to awaken her mind and body enough to allow her to fight back, and with a fresh dose of blood in her and his claim undamaged now, he hoped it would work. Talon was going to have to take care of his own mate now. They came there knowing that.
Talon hissed as he just barely realized that she was in labor and what was worse, they were all in danger of dying right then. Picking up Echo, the earth suddenly dropped beneath them and then closed above them as they continued to fall down a tunnel and then lifted once again a good 50 miles away from the house and into a clear meadow, then the explosion could be heard not a second afterwords. "Echo, hang on. We've got to get father away or the baby will die out here. That's vampire poison over there." he warned, usually if threatened the mother could hold back from pushing long enough to get to safety. So Talon ran, the wind helping him move faster. Soon they were another 100 miles away and Talon then set her down on the cool grass and he held her hand as he sat behind her, holding her in comfort as support. He couldn't do anything else now but be there, he rubbed her shoulders and stomach soothingly to possibly help her through the birth. He also made a barrier of earth and wind around them so as to keep intruders out.

Echo held onto Talon when they were in the tunnel, focusing on the pain. She was thankful for the fact that they were getting away from that place,for now Echo wasnt thinking abou tKaida or kale. She just wanted this to be over because this was the worst pain she had been in. Echo closed her eyes, nodded when Talon told her to hand on. She didnt want her baby to die.
Echo tried to relax but failed at that, Echo held onto Talon's hand tightly. She leaned her head back, crying from the pain, but continueing to push. She was glad to have Talon there, but onyl because she didnt want to be alone when this was happening.

When Kaida's heart felt the urge to fight, her eyes snapped open. Only then did she realize she had been bound to a marble slab. She had been cut with intricate markings as chating vampires, about twenty, and they scared Kaida. She fought against the iron chains but they seemed to be leaked with poison, so if she fought it would tear her skin and slowly kill her. But then a black fog seemed to be creeping over her body. It entered her mouth and filled her body, corrupting her mind and taking over as though it were Kale's powers. 'Mine...' A deep and powerful female voice echoed before Kaida's body was completely controlled and uncontrollable. She laid there, her eyes a bright red, and then was unshakled. Her body lifted as the woman inside of her took over. She was the body of an old, powerful vampire who was executed and wanted her revenge. And now she would be unstoppable in this woman's body.

Talon rubbed her shoulders and stomach with his free hand, soothing her nerves as best he could, whispering sweet nothings in her ear. Unfortunately for both of them, she was in labor for a good two more hours before the baby finally showed the top of its head. Talon had her push with all her strength then, where as before it was getting her body used to it. Then the wail of the baby came to their ears as the head escaped and soon rested on the ground with the rest of the body.
Talon gently leaned Echo against the tree and picked up the child, cutting the umbilicll(?) cord and took his shirt off to wrap the child in. Before going to sit beside Echo with a soft smile. "We have a strong son, love. He is fortunate to have you as his mother." he told her softly, gently handing the boy to her arms so she could look at him.
Kale had just burst into the building just before the possesstion took place, but as soon as it did, Kale fell to the ground in inner pain, shock going through his system as if his blood was trying to cope with the change of his mates blood that was combined with his. Kaida's blood within was attacking his blood, as if it wasn't Kaida's blood anymore. Even Kaida's claim on his neck was searing, bringing out a very loud and painful scream from his throat.
He didn't register it as his own voice though, until after a few minutes had passed. The pain he was feeling was too great for any normal vampire to handle, but greatfully he wasn't a normal vampire. His body shaking violently in the pain, he still forced himself to get up and and he walked painfully to the room he last felt Kaida in. Pushing open the doors weakly, trying to keep any signs of his pain to a minum, he saw Kaida standing among 20 other vampires. But this wasn't Kaida, he knew. "What...h-have you done...?!" However, that burst of anger let loose more pain and he fell once more, shaking even wors than before. He didn't know if Kaida was feeling the same thing he was, but all he did know was that her mark was fading from his skin as if it was never there to begin with.

Kaida's heart ached and she felt trapped. She screamed internally in pain, but the appearance was of a strong woman. "Dear Kale." She said, walking over to him. She leaned down and cupped his face then. Kaida was outraged at the touch. THe body of Kaida frowned then, her hand shaking and letting go of Kale's face. "No..." It growled. "Release your body to me!" She said, her voice quavering. But Kaida was even more outraged at the doubt Kale was having about the mark. 'No! Mine!' She yelled within her head. Slowly her actions were seeming to overtake this woman's, but she was also powerful. Looking down atKale, she raised her hand as though she would try and kill him. "No... no...Fight... me... back, Kale..." Kaida's voice seemed to break the control

Echo lleaned on Talon, shuddering when the baby was born, but somewhat relieved. She was still in pain, that didnt go away quickly. Echo was just waiting for it to stop soon though. Echo looked at Talon, she wiped off her face, not really liking the feeling of dried taers. She was tired, but she did want to see her son. Echo held the baby in her arms, smiling because she was in awe over how amazing it was. She Loved the feelig of the little person she carried for so long in her arms.
"I dont think he would have been so lucky if he didnt have you either." She said grinning at Talon. Echo figured that if it wasnt for Talon, she probably wouldnt have ever gotten with anyone, and she would still be blind. She pulled on a strand of Talon's hair gently, teasing. "He looks alot like you."

Kale's body was still shaking worse than violently, he glared at the woman that appeared to be his kaida, but wasn't as she touched him. He knew that Kaida had claimed him, but with someone else dominatin the soul he was bound to, the mark would fade until his soul mate returned. Kale whimpered when his love spoke to him, asking him to fight her. "I can't...I won't hurt your body...even if it isn't you in control...it is your body..." he answered painfully. However, he did turn a part of his attention to one of the 20 vampires and took over his mind and made him speak. "I think we should release the female to have her own body back." he suggested, sounding as normal as ever.
Talon just smiled and held the two close to him, chuckling at her action. "But he has your nose." he answered softly.

The body turned and growled at the man. She walkd to him and snapped his neck, making it a slow death. She then turned to the other. "You see, I have matters to attend to with a man named Talon. And young Kaida here tipped me off his mate will have a child. Therefore, I will go for his soul." Staring at Kale she smirked. "Perhaps in rage he will kill your mate, too." She ran then into the forest in the general direction of Talon, stronger than Kaida could normally.

"What do we call him?" Echo asked, feeling thrilled. She wasnt aware that there was any danger coming close. Echo wasnt in the great condition to make a grand escape either, considering she just gave birth. Echo looked at Talon when the baby started to cry again, not sure what she was supposed to do to make him stop cry. Echo wasnt sure if the baby was hungry, or if there was something bothering him. She didnt the have experience of taking care of babies.

"Kaida...no...please...if you have something against Talon take it against me..." Kale begged before she was gone, getting up, he followed after her painfully.
Talon thought for a moment then smiled. "How does James sound?" he questioned softly. When he started to cry and Talon saw that Echo was confused, he chuckled. "Listen to your heart, it'll tell you what he wants." Soon though, Talon felt the tug in the wind barrier as someone was approaching. He grew trees faster than light could form and the wind blew fiercer to keep the person away and fire surrounded his earth wall, for extra security. He wouldn't let Echo see his determination to keep the intruder out, however, and just remained calm.

Echo was quiet for a moment. She was trying to figure out what was making the baby cry. "Is he hungry?" She asked, deciding that that was the one that seemed like the best answer. Echo smlied. "I like the name James." she said happy to now have something to call the boy.

Kaida's body froze at the barrier. She turned to see Kale approaching. "Why would I take it out on you? See, I've known Talon since he was turned, and I have a heavy burden to take up with him. He killed my very first mate, you see. And now I want revenge. And what good would it be to kill you? If you die then this pathetic body I took over would die as well. Sheesh, Kale... you sure know how to pick them." The woman said sarcastically to him, then felt the barrier and chanted. She was one of the few who knew how to get though Talon's barriers.
