I don't think you get saving throws on Knowledge checks... but you didn't add in the trained skill bonus, either. So that's enough to count! The symbol on the sigil held out by the cloaked figure reminds you very strongly of another being you've met. This one was far more approachable... There must be some kind of connection between Yidhra and Hastur, but you're still not sure what it is.
