Tomo leaned over Cass and rubbed her ears with his free hand, "Shhh." He whispered, eyes lulling a little as he looked at her. He noticed his magic was working a little, but at no rapid speed. It could take days or even weeks to heal her spine and that would be with constant contact, "You took a lot of damage to your spine." He said, "You probably won't be able to move them until you're healed." he murmured, ears going limp. He closed his eyes and let his magical eye enter her body, taking a great deal of healing magic with it. It wrapped the magic around her wound, making a sort of bandage. A way for Tomo to keep magic on it without keeping his hand there all the time. Of course, he would have to make a new one every once in a while, but soon he would be able to gage that, too. He dropped his hand and very gently, pulled her into his arms. "Are you okay?" He asked finally. "Y-You didn't want to go with him, did you?"

PhoenixFirecat Siren's fur fluffed up again at Tomo's touch, but it was more from surprise than anything else at how...warm he felt. Cass's scream, however, made her fur stand up in surprise. She dropped down next to Cass and stroked the back of her head, trying to calm her. "Mister Tomo, is she going to be okay?" she asked, watching Tomo and wishing she knew more about healing spells. Tomo looked over at Siren and nodded with a small smile. "She will be if I help her." He said, getting the feeling that his powers had developed past a normal level.

"Noooooo.." she replied, her upper body into a ball against Tomo. 'I dont' want to have to need so much help!" she said, through her sobs. Her ears perked to his touch, giving her a little murmur of a smile. "I'm.. Sorry for so much drama, Tomo.. I love you. I would never leave here. Leave you." she said, wiping at her face, and trying to ignore the tingling on her spine, and the deadweight of her legs.

Sten cringed at the girls outburst. He almost stepped inside the inn to try and help, but when he saw where he was going he jumped back from the wooden floor as most people would molten hot magma.

Siren nodded and got up, careful not to bump Cass or Tomo. She knew she couldn't say anything about it, so she settled for smiling at Tomo. "I know she's in good hands," she whispered, then turned and headed for the stairs. "Good night," she said as she climbed upstairs.
((that's one way to get through this time travel thing...anyways, i need some sleep...see y'all later))

Tomo's ears dropped even more as he held her more comfortably now that he had his hand off her back. "I'm really sorry, Cass." He murmured. It killed him to see her like this and his eyes watered as he imagined the pain she must have gone through as Victor's wife. "I never want you to feel that pain ever again." He whispered, burying his cheek in her shoulder. "I love you, Cass. More than you could ever know." He nodded to Siren and looked at Sten curiously.

Cass cuddled to him tightly, and nodded. "I love you.. I love you...' She cooed, as her arms shakily wrapped around him. She would give anything to never see him again... His package lay forgotten by a couch, and there it would stay. One thing she knew, was that she was not going to touch that thing. Looking up at him, she smiled. "I-i Uh.. I know about the .." she gulped, unable to voice her informations. "That-box-thing-in-the-desk."

Tomo's eyes widened and his ears perked strait up as cold adrenaline shot through his glowing body. "Y-You do, then?" He asked, biting his lower lip as he gazed into the distance. Well, that certainly ruined his chances of proposing romantically. He puffed out his cheeks and let the air out slowly through the corner of his mouth. "W-Well, then." He murmured, twitching his tail as he started to shake nervously. His chest tightened and he felt like an 11th grader asking the prettiest girl in school to the prom. "W-Will you marry me?"

Sten smiled at Tomo from the door. "Anything I can help with MuffinMan?" he asked feeling bad about not trying to help during the fight, despite Tomo's warnings.

Between hearing him called the MuffinMan, and being asked to marry him, she started to laugh softly. The laugh grew, as well as a purr sounded in her chest, as her hands pulled to his chest, and she laughed into him, tail unmoving. Her ears though, twitched happily. Looking up at the poor flustered boy, she nodded with a calm smile. "Yes, MuffinMan." she said, with a kiss to his chin, as she stopped talking to let her purr fill up her vocal cords.

"Drinks are on me tonight!!!" Lep grinned, looking over at the patrons, then leaning on the counter. "Place your orders! I'll dish it out immediately!!!" He laughed some, pulling out a bottle of champagne and popping the top off! "Congrats, boss!!!" He grinned, setting it down on the counter. "Bottle's for you and Miss Cass."

Heart still thudding against his ribs, Tomo looked around and realized he'd knocked over quite a few things with his energy burst. "Maybe... get my knick knacks back on their shelves..." He murmured with a small nervous laugh. His ears perked when he heard Cass's reply and grinned, "Wonderful!" He cried, bending over to kiss her soundly on the lips. He sighed, and pushed her hair to the side. "Sleepy?" He asked, standing up and gently pulling her into his arms as he picked her up.

"Only a glass for me, Lep!" she called, gladly accepting the glass of champagne. "I'd not be able to walk after more than.. one.. I uh, nevermind." she muttered the end, shaking her head happily. Holding the glass carefully, still in Tomo's arms, she smiled up at him. "Yes, sleepy. Exhausted. I love you." All of her sentences were stated matter-of-factly, with a grin.

He nodded, serving them the champagne, nodding some. "Mozel Tov!" He laughed again, heading back to the bar, leaving the bottle and the two glasses over where they were. He looked over to the patrons, cracking his neck. He leaned over, rolling up his sleeves and getting ready for the orders.
