Sten clenched his fists as he saw the man beat on MuffinMan and that girl. Instinctively a pillar of earth rose up behind him and he almost launched a rock from it at the man, but then he remembered MuffnMan saying it was his fight. Sten paused but did not sink the pillar back into the ground.

"Give. Me. My. Wife." Victor said very slowly to the blond, as if he were some how mentally deficient. His palms thrust out to Tomo's chest, dark green and black magic shooting out, forcing him back. "Leave me, as I take her. She shall go quietly." With those words, he had skirted around with a sideways step, and was next Cass. Landing a swift kick to her spine, her having been buckled on her side. Looking up at Tomo with daring eyes, he shot a layer of magic over her, threatening. Like holding her hostage on teh floor. 'You come at me, and I will kill her." Grimacing at her unconscious body, he spat a word at Tomo. "Perfect."

Sten watched the confounding scene unfold. The strange man said the girl was his wife, but MuffinMan was protecting her from him so that couldn't be true right? A wife isn't someone who needs protection from her husband, but the man was hurting her and he was hurting MuffinMan, but MuffinMan said it was his fight, but... Sten felt incredibly dizzy as he sank to his knees, glancing over at Siren to see if she could shed some light on it, but she seemed just as confounded as he did.

"You wouldn't dare kill your filthy girlfriend's daugher's father? Yes? Well, Angie hates her. She'd never come here." Victor spat out, also very wary of the blade at his neck. Black magic engulfed him, almost as though becoming him, as he pushed a fist of black magic into the the man's chest. But, it.. It burned! It ate through his skin! Yelping, he vanished, leaving behind only the magic, which concentrated itself at Cass, boring a whole in the holy bubble. It ran out of energy, trying to do so, and a little rope of what was left of the energy made it in, and absorbed itself into her spine where it'd been fractured by Victor's kick.

He was gone.

Tomo lowered his sword and stared at it for a few moments before letting it drop to the floor. It let out a thud, but did not break. The wings disappeared and he landed lightly on the floor. His skin still seemed to glow, but he didn't care. He knelt beside Cass, probing her body for injuries. He rested his hands on her and his magic instantly sent a shockwave of healing energy, fixing every ailment and wound on her body, except... Tomo frowned, sensing that her spine wouldn't heal right. "Cass? Sweet, please wake up," he pleaded, keeping a healing hand on her back. It wouldn't heal, but it wouldn't hurt as long as he had his hand there. How did he know all this? He shook the thought from his mind and concentrated it all on Cass. He looked up at Siren and smiled, "I hope so." he said, reaching his other hand up to rest on hers. His touch would have felt warm and almost euphoric to the girl.

Siren's fur fluffed up again at Tomo's touch, but it was more from surprise than anything else at how...warm he felt. Cass's scream, however, made her fur stand up in surprise. She dropped down next to Cass and stroked the back of her head, trying to calm her. "Mister Tomo, is she going to be okay?" she asked, watching Tomo and wishing she knew more about healing spells.
