Allen shook his head, "That's odd... I'm quite certain I'm alive and I don't need to feel pain to do it." He handed Kaden the needle. "I'm not medically certified enough to sew little boy's eyes shut... Err. I just spoke to a bloke a few weeks ago whose eye exploded! He used an eyepatch just fine." He said, then looked to Cass. "Human?" He asked, eyes going suddenly dazed. He reached into his satchel and pulled out a photograph. "Would this be him?" He asked, handing her the picture. It was indeed a picture of Tomo in toddler form. He had both arms at the time, though one was misshapen into a deformed hairless cat's paw. A small sprouting of blonde hair covered the boy's head.

"You little brat." River hissed at the mirror slapping her forehead at Kadens words. "Why? Why do you have to do this to me?" She said to no one in particular shaking her fist a bit. Blinking and leaning foreward when he handed Cass a little peice of paper; her expression...River's eyes went wide in wonder. "For real?" She asked herself aloud.

"Oh..Okay.." Kaden said fiddling with the eye patch sadly. " I Guess I can wait." He said stuffing the needle back into his pocket with the eye patch where he went quiet watching. " Mm; I don't know. Maybe I think Toto-san couldn't think of a way to say it." He said fiddling with his shirt since the sharp object was cleverly placed back where he got it. " She always has trouble with that kid stuff. That's what she said." He nodded again growning ever quiet looking at Cass then Him again sliding away from them. Wow being small like he was really had it's up's and down's didn't it.

Cass, still laughing along with the man, very merrily, looked to the door. "Oh, no! Certainly not I?" she exclaimed, and ducking down, with a laugh. She was not one for extremely fast activity lately, but her heart raced, as she slowly stood back up. "I present to you, Tomokazu." she said to the man, pointing to her bubbly boyfriend at the front door.

Allen stood and approached the blonde catboy slowly, staring at his every feater as if absorbing him all in. After a few minutes of staring, he finally hugged the slightly shorter boy, making him drop his parcels.

Tomo gasped and perked his ears, "Cass! There's a strange man hugging me!" He cried, shoulders tense and tail swishing uneasily. "W-Well, hello, there."

"Well, if you find being hugged by strange men enjoyable, I think we're going to have to have a talk." Tomo said, ears going extremely limp.

Allen finally let go, "I'm extremely sorry... But... You're my son." he said, looking into Tomo's eyes. "Maria's..." He murmured, finding his ex-wife's one redeeming quality on the teen's face.

Tomo froze up again, reaching up and touching the man's face. "I-I know... It's weird to hear me in your voice." He said, looking at Allen with his fingers.

Kaden felt dangerously out of place now, scooting off the bar and onto one of the chairs to sit down and cower in quietly. Unnoticed but watchful interested but confused. He didn't know either of them those people those older people but the Man, Tomo he was familiar enough to smile to knowing his face was familiar and not just resembling something. It was all too normal, too close to home; or what was home at first. Maybe he would visit that place, that stree and wander about it in wonder. Yeah it sounded great right now sitting in the dark eatting rippened tomatos filled with love and care as they where made. That's how children where raised except with more care and less dirt; cleanly suspended in the air until they are ripe enough to be left alone.

Now, it was Tomo's turn to hug Allen. "I thought you were dead!" He cried, letting small tears slip from his eyes. He let go and bent down and picked up the gifts he'd bought for Cass. He wiped his eyes and perked his ears, walking over to his girlfriend. "H-Happy birthday." He stammered with a teary grin. The boy had actually started losing his eyesight again and for three days, now, he was completely blind once more. He actually didn't seem to notice. He forgot when he didn't remind himself... However, realizing he couldn't see Cass was a large wakeup call to the fact. "I hope you like them." He said, inside the box was a diamond bracelet with cat charms around it. The merchant had helped him pick it out.

"All right?" Tomo asked as Allen made his way back to the bar. "Oh Cass, today's wonderful!" He cried, hugging her back. He buried his face in her neck and kissed it, several times. "I thought I only had Ritsuko-san for the longest time... Now I have you and children and... Oh! Jeez!" He turned to Allen, "You're a grandfather!" He added, eyes sparkling.
