But Morrigan simply retorted using her own feet to kick his down, threatening to turn the entire manuever against him. "I won't repeat myself!" she cried, her own wings wrapping around his legs.
It was a battle to the death, or at least it seemed that way.

Konton thought this over for a moment.
Morrigan and he had locked claws, but while Konton kept in the air with his wings, Morrigan used her wings to pin his feet down. This however, left her own feet incapable of battle.
Tails were all either had left.
Unless...
The hooked barbs, poisonous to the touch, atop the joints of Konton's wings angled downward toward Morrigan's head. The manuver made his flight cease, but something else overrode that need...
Ki.
He had seen Ashuri and Po-ar use the technique enough times, that the demon was able to produce flight with the mere thought and power of spirit.
His wings could be put to better use.
Quickly, his tail darted toward Morrigan as well, guarding his wings that went in for a devestating stab.

Morrigan picked up on his change of attack, and mirrored it herself; the difference was, however, that her host was still a bit shaky on flying. Her wings released his legs, lifting up to block the spikes. Her claws clenched even tighter to his, and to cause his attention to move elsewhere she began to beat at him with her tail.
His legs, especially.
"You're not too bad," the goddess spoke low, adrenaline rushing through her veins. "But you'll have to do better than this."

"Will I?" the demon asked, batting Morrigan's tail out of the way with his own.
His clawed fingers gripped hers even tighter, if it were possible.
"How about I show you what has made me so very famous, hm?" Konton asked.
The room suddenly fell into a pitch black darkness, the only sound was the struggling of the two demons and the beating of Morrigan's wings.
"If I can not use fear upon you, I will use the next best thing."
There was a sickening popping sound, as if bone and ligament were tearing furiously. With a cry of anguish, Konton suddenly gained the upper hand.
A second tail, exactly like the first, snaked it's way around Morrigan's neck, holding the woman fast as Konton pressed his advantage.
Morrigan was a shapeshifter, yes... but then again... so was Konton.
And in the demon's changing, he had grown not only one extra tail, but a second set of wings as well, keeping him airborne without having to rely on ki.

Morrigan scowled. "So we play it this way?" she choked out, and any pain she might've felt she didn't show. "Shapeshifter to shapeshifter. So be it."
Unlike Konton, she did not grow another tail, however she did take the idea of another set of wings. Instead of a tail, she opted for four more arms, her claws slashing his tail furiously. Her tail went to lock with his original, one set of wings slashing their barbs at him, the other keeping her aflight.
She was tired of f%@*ing around.

Konton had counted on the goddess' shapeshifting, but he had not thought she could do it so rapidly.
He used his second set of wings, relying on ki once more, to block her own wings. He could not however, with so little time, make a good defense against her extra claws.
A hiss of anger, or perhaps pain, escaped the demon.
"Kalith karan, tobanis-kar!" Konton shouted, a burning suddenly beginning in his chest. It was soon over however, as streams of liquid fire flew from his now open chest cavitity, directly toward Morrigan's own chest.

And this was whenever the goddess shapeshifted into something other than a demon, at least temporarily.
The crow took off from the spell, reshaping into her previous form some ways across the room. Needless to say, she was surprised.
"You use magick as well!" she spoke, catching her breath, "Admirable!"
The goddess lunged in for the attack once more, chanting something softly under her breath.
"By raging sea and winter cold," she whispered, her wings' barbs slashing at the demon furiously, "by powers of the new and old, by seasons harsh and time relentless, your death I give as final sentence."
It was a promise. Cúchulainn of Ulster had been one such man to bear witness to it; and, like so many others, he fell.
She would see to it that this demon died, whether it was now or later.

Konton laughed, his voice disembodied.
For in truth, in the darkness, the demon had used the shadows to disappear.
"How can you curse something that is not before you?" he asked, his body actually speaking to her from the hell it ruled.

"One of the mysteries, dear shadow," Morrigan replied; she had his blood upon her. To curse with such a profoundly personal effect was simple.
However, something made itself apparent to the goddess, something she had nearly forgotten.
To carry around the spirit of a deity was akin to blowing out circuits; especially in such a fragile form, little Morrigan wouldn't be able to hold out much longer. She held as tightly to the goddess as she could, but slowly, surely, the spells began to wear off.
The first thing that happened was a set of arms disappeared. She knew she had to either escape or defeat him before the transformation completely itself; she growled, calling out into the darkness. "I am of the shadows myself!" she called, "Show yourself, lest you be cowardly in the heat of battle!"

Konton's tail slammed straight, ready to pierce through Morrigan's abdomen if the woman of much as moved.
The demon stood behind her, his razor blade of a tail just mere centimeters from her back.
"But my dear," Konton hissed. "I am still behind you. Speak another word of that curse and you can bet that this body you inhabit will die a most painful death."

But it was too late; Morrigan had already uttered the curse, and it was completed before the threat.
In addition, the wings and arms disappeared, as did the tail. In fact, it was only a few mere moments before Morrigan was herself again, donned in nothing but a shredded cloak, swaying uncertainly.
Without another word she plummeted to the floor, her energy fully spent by the deity.

"NAGA!" Konton shouted, the light in the room returning and Konton's extra wings and his tail disappearing.
The demon grabbed the collapsed Morrigan by the throat, hoisting the woman into the air.
How he wanted to kill her...

Naga appeared eventually, however, it appeared that he had had a rough time of his own. "W...What the hell happened?!" he asked in disbelief, regarding the woman with raised eyebrows, as well as the demon. "What happened to your arms?? How did she...?"
He was referring to the fact that she was unconscious, but it finally struck him. "The goddess shorted her out," he whispered with a delighted grin, "Of course, I should've figured."

"And she cursed me." Konton replied angrily, throwing the woman at Naga's feet. "I want Po-ar and Ashuri dead, Naga... they die, and we win. But that damned goddess of hers thinks Po-ar her priest."
The demon shivered, allowing his wings to cover him as he tried to heal his wounds.

"s**t, she what??" Naga raised an eyebrow, "She cursed you???? Bad luck, that," he shook his head. "And Po-ar's her priest?????"
Things were getting weird to him. "He's not even of our realm... But if she said so, she wasn't kidding." he sighed. "She didn't think. She chose. She distinctly chose, and hell upon those who cross her---that's her way. If she cursed you how I think she did, I'm not entirely sure how much fighting you should get yourself into---especially with Mor and Po-ar. If they're her priest and priestess, then the most tragedy will come from them."
The woman groaned softly, still unconscious. She'd be coming to soon.
