 I think the full name-thingamajig is "soda pop". How come... non-americans say "pop" instead of "soda"? HUH? lawl. Maybe it's because British people formally call each other by their last names? I dunno. O WELL -shrug-

Lol, in the book "The Outsiders", there's a character named Sodapop. xD
But I say "pop" because it's less syllables compared to "soda". hhee.

Yeah, I read that book for English last year. It was meh. Kinda... bleh. I didn't really feel full after finishing it. But the fact that you say "pop" because it has less syllables means that you are lazy!
