@ giggygal - i plan to create an index for my course materials. All my course materials. To date that covers 7 courses. Using excel or access would proably be the easiest way smile
i also plan on creating a second index for researched material i have come across, either on the web that i have printed off or from newspapers, actual paper, but of course before i start this i have to have this material in binders.
i have noticed that when doing a course, something i learned a few years ago would be useful but would have no idea where to look up (esp the earlier courses, no index whatsover with them as they were all on the web).
---
i already tried it small scale (putting 500 + cds that i own into an excel spreadsheet) when i was putting my cds onto my computer as mp3 format. i have "a-z" along the bottom & every artist/band that i own under the relative tab & in alphabetical order in that tab
lol you *did*ask!!
*huggles* back at ya hun smile

Strideo I think I will add this to my quick links! Huzzah! purply bunz @ giggygal - i plan to create an index for my course materials. All my course materials. To date that covers 7 courses. Using excel or access would proably be the easiest way smile i also plan on creating a second index for researched material i have come across, either on the web that i have printed off or from newspapers, actual paper, but of course before i start this i have to have this material in binders. i have noticed that when doing a course, something i learned a few years ago would be useful but would have no idea where to look up (esp the earlier courses, no index whatsover with them as they were all on the web). --- i already tried it small scale (putting 500 + cds that i own into an excel spreadsheet) when i was putting my cds onto my computer as mp3 format. i have "a-z" along the bottom & every artist/band that i own under the relative tab & in alphabetical order in that tab lol you *did*ask!! *huggles* back at ya hun smile Lol! That's far too much organisation for my poor brain. The only time anything gets organised for me is when it comes to exams, so I sit down with my specification and my notes (filed in chronological order by then) and write a whole new set of notes, going through the spec. point by point. It takes a while, but I find by the time I'm finished, I know it all inside out. Triltsch I added it to mine a few days ago! It's handy! 4laugh But due to this, I'm usually late for updates on the Slipper Drama… Huzzah again! Also, thankyou. I keep missing bits of the slippers saga, either because I've disappeared to the land of work for weeks at a time, or because I jump straight to the CIF - or, now, to the Index - rather than the homepage. Saying that, maybe I'll actually update it sometime soon now... Evening!

I get to argue with the band director about changing visuals again because I'm injured and it's unhealthy for other instruments.

pardon language; god damn it, the world does not revolve around band! and yes, the mouse that appeared in the apartment is more important anyway because that's semi-unsanitary

*Sigh*
Six months and I still haven't moved on from a completely pointless trauma that, in reality, never meant anything at all. But every time I think about it, or see any of the things that remind me of it, I feel physically sick.
I think I need to get out more.
