The obvious leader of the group stepped forward, strangely it was a vixen not a alpha male, she joined the other fox who was so evident, and then both of them walked past Dante, and back out the door, past the angry door and to the door that was wood and covered in vines, scratching at the door.

Dante would say he was surprised if Fae had come in command there, surely the leader would be female matriarchal societies were not something to astound him theses days, but at least he knew he was going int eh right direction.. he thought any who...

He nodded at the kits and reached for the door handle turning it gently opening the door so he could enter and stepped inside.

And what was inside?

Simple.

It was Fae, rocking two infants, smiling as they cooed. Looking every inch a madonna of sorts, content and peaceful.

"Dante, I'm not sure whether Dakota or Devon will be more of a handful..."

There was masculine laughter, and Dante would see...well, an outline of himself walking towards Fae. Not himself as Jay, but himself as the Dante she first knew. He was but a few inches away from Dante himself but was walking away.

"If they are anything like their mother..." He trailed off, leaving the comment dangling as he seemed affected by the smile that Fae gave him, her violet eyes shimmering with happiness.

But oddly enough, beside Fae was a little black haired girl who leaned against her with ease and seemed uneasy. She looked right at the 'real' Dante and glowered and clutched Fae's arm while staring straight at him.

"Let go of her..." Dante said in a strong monotone from, he wasn't yelling but he was making his request quite clear. "I dont want you dead, I just want my wife back..."

Dante didn't want to have to fight over this but if he needed to he would she had no right to force Fae into a coma over this and if he had to play dirty so be it. Dante was no mood to argue over this.

"I am part of your wife, just as much as her children if not more so." The child pointed a finger at Dante, "You locked me out!" The young eyes filled with tears of anger and pain. "I am her, and she is me..." She held up a thin silver and violet string that Dante could then see connected both he and Fae.

"Because of this, I have nowhere to go!" She let go of Fae, but Fae and the 'other' Dante paid her no mind, the man going to wrap his arms around Fae as she smiled and looked at their children. Fae seemed blissfully happy. The girl wrapped the string around her fists and yanked, the tendrils pulling but rarely did any actually pull away from the center strand. As they did, Dante would feel a tugging in the region of his soul, as if she was literally tearing at his and Fae's connection.

Muse brushed her over grown bangs out of her deep purple eyes again as she looked at her reflection in the full length mirror. Long black pants, gold colored seekers and a matching top made for a nice new outfit, although the 14 year old was very tempted to tell the lady at the counter behind her to stop starring before she decided to just leave without all her items.

She couldn't really blame people, she did have to shop in the little tikes area of the store... at 3 foot 5 she was very small for her age sweatdrop

Musset managed to pay for her items without telling the lady to go fly a kite before she stuffed the old clothes in her back pack and headed back out onto the streets.

Madison quickly countinued to run through the streets for a few hours longer, until she noticed something that caused her to reach a hault. A poster, with HER face on it. But it wasn't just hers, there was also another experiment's that she had never seen before on there. She blinked lightly as she countinued to loook at it.

"...Crap." She sighed slightly as she pulled the poster off the wall, but what else caught her eye was the reward. $1,000,000,000 to get her back home, her home that she had ran away from many years ago, Marchiko Laboratory. Her gloved hands shook slightly as she then finally decided to countinue on her way, she had other things to worry about. But she knew it was going to lurk in her mind for quite sometime.

As she countinued to walk, she soon bumped into something, well more like someone who was REMARKABLY shorter than her. She stumbled foreward and finally fell to the ground practically performing a faceplant. Quickly Madison looked at what she had fell over, and saw Musset there, which lead to instant apologies.

"I am sooooooooooooooooooooooo sorry!"

Muse was so embarrassed, she had not been paying attention and had run into some lady. The only thing that kept the teenager from bursting into tears was that she did not end up on the pavement nest to the lady, she had kept her feet under her... and that was a start sweatdrop

"Oh I'm sorry miss, I was not looking and I got in the way again..."

"No no no! It was my fault! I wasn't paying attention!" Ah yes, the blame game was starting. But rather than playing the traditional blaming another person, they were blaming themselves for the messy situation that they both had created for themselves.

Quickly Madi helped herself to her feet, and then realized how much taller she was than this young lady. But however, Madison was known for never being judgemental at all. She soon noticed that the paper she had with her face plastered on it was also on the ground, which she soon reached to pick up.

"I hope you are alright." Smiled Madison kindly, she wouldn't want to cause this young girl harm.

"I'm fine thank you.. Are you alright?" sweatdrop Muse tried not to act like she had seen the paper that had a fair likeness of the lady on it... and the girl defiantly did not appear to care about the amazingly large amount of money that was listed on the same paper

"I'm sorry again... Relis always said that I had my head in the sand." blaugh That was an obvious attempt to joke about her lack of height

Madison than smiled at the girl, she did make a pretty good joke. She than countinued to look down at her with her hands on her hips.

"Well aslong as your alright. I guess I'll be on my way." She then with a turn was about to head on her way...with then another few steps Madison proceeded to trip once more. Some of the people who passed muttered things, but the rabbit didn't seem to worried. What she was really worried about now was the fact that she had lost her glasses.

"CRAP!"

Fae Decker
"I am part of your wife, just as much as her children if not more so." The child pointed a finger at Dante, "You locked me out!" The young eyes filled with tears of anger and pain. "I am her, and she is me..." She held up a thin silver and violet string that Dante could then see connected both he and Fae.

"Because of this, I have nowhere to go!" She let go of Fae, but Fae and the 'other' Dante paid her no mind, the man going to wrap his arms around Fae as she smiled and looked at their children. As they did, Dante would feel a tugging in the region of his soul, as if she was literally tearing at his and Fae's connection.
Dante put his hand out to his chest and grabbed the invisible link between him and Fae and gave it a tug not one to try and pull it away but to make a point.

"So it seems we are both linked to her, and claim fair right eh? that is a predicament... I want my wife back but I hold no true death wish for you..."

Dante crossed his arms and stared her down he was making no sudden moves and locked his eyes on her. sizing her up and thinking about what the options could be.

"So what is it that you suggest we do here... we can either fight to the death, or come to an agreement, and I wont hesitate to admit that Im willing to die for her... and you know it all to well."

Dante uncrossed his hands and waited for her to respond.

"Or do you prefer we Ask Fae what she wants to do with you..."

The child that clung to Fae's arm pouted, but at least her eyes showed he had a point, however much she didn't want to admit it. She looked down at the foxes, then glanced up to Dante.

"Now this is interesting..." Meria smiled at one fox; the non dominant one, and beckoned her forth. "Come here, Artemis..." She held her hand out towards the fox...and the fox came forward slowly, looking back at the Alpha female before acknowledging Meria. Once she was within reach, Meria reached and stroked the kit's head, petting it gently. "We used to have so much fun together, didn't we?" she seemed to have completely forgotten about Dante, although Fae was still within her easy reach.

The Alpha fox looked up at Dante, nodding her head slowly before motioning towards Fae. It seemed the fox thought it would be best for Dante to approach Fae while Meria was distracted.

Dante followed the Alpha female towards Fae not quite sure what to do she seemed so distracted so caught up in whatever this memory or illusion was that he almost felt bad. It however had to be done and he barely hesitated to reach out and touch at her arm.

"Fae..."

As Dante touched Fae, he would feel a sense of vertigo as suddenly, he wasn't in front of her, but behind her where the vestiage of his former self had been. In fact, he'd even taken on the appearance of Dante Decker, not Jay Sirico. But he did get a response out of Fae, even as he melded into Meria's illusion.

"Yes, beloved..." She smiled serenely. "Don't you think the girls are doing nicely..." She turned back and motioned to the two babies in her arms, each of whom seemed to coo up at Dante, though one; most likely Devon had a twinkle that anyone with sense would know meant trouble when she grew up. The illusion Meria had put Fae into was supremely real, taken from Fae's own memories and desires.

The Alpha vixen was there as well, although only for a second as she stepped onto Fae's shoulder from Dante's, she disappeared, seemingly gone.

Meria meanwhile was content petting Artemis. "Things were so much simpler, Artemis...why didn't you stop me...why did you let them hurt me so much..." Her hand gripped on Artemis' fur, and the kit let out a yelp, but remained, still distracting Meria from Dante and Fae's conversation.
