* Ali didn't answer but rather looked out at the ocean, narrowing his eyes. He had thought he had felt something in the ground just a few minutes ago and now he had tasted rust on his tongue. There was a submarine out there, probably hit one of the sand bank walls Ali's men had dug up and placed sensors in to check for submarines. Slowly Ali stood up and smiled as he noticed a periscope ermerge some distance away and then going back down again. It sure as hell wasn't one of his. They were too new to have rust on them.*Just making sure my instincts weren't wrong.

She tilted her head, observing the waters in the same direction that he was, she saw the same thing that he saw, but had no idea what it was. "Is something the matter?"

Tally sighed, sitting on the beach, drawing lines in the sand. She looked up and blinked, trying to wake from her sleepy gaze from her beachside nap. Tally stood up and leaned back, stretching her arms up above her before starting to walk away along the beach as the waters lapped against her ankles.

Not really.*Ali half turned before he abruptly stopped again, narrowing his eyes at the woman that seemed to walk towards them.* Seems we got company

"It seems she is lost in thought." she said with a kind smile, feeling a connection between the two though they had never met. "Shall we keep our distance?" she asked softly, turning her attention from the female to Ali again. "Or shall we leave such social habits for the Bar?" she asked with a little giggle.

She found herself on the edge of the ocean, the very world Charis had come from. She sat down, tears staining her face. Stupid war..stupid world..stupid girl...she had always been outspoken..and it always managed to get her into trouble.. even at home..her father said she wasn't like other girls..but thats what he loved so much about her. She could hear his voice in her mind and she laid back into the sand, covering her eyes with her arm.

Shortly after she left the bar, Charis had left as well. Her need to fix things and make the people around her happy compelling her to find the other girl. With the use of her rings she is able to almost swim through the air. The gold colored bands giving her the ability to travel through the air as if it is water. Once again her upper body is hidden by the blanket, its warm folds wrapped tightly around her shoulders and arms. Her head passes from side to side as she occasionally looks around. The first place she had checked was the lake, but finding no sign of Nya, a hunch has led her here.
Charis sighs softly and smiles when she finally spots her. Approaching without sound. She lowers herself to the beach, looking out to the water and letting her tail curl beside her. For a few moments she just sits there, watching the tide pull in and out. When she finally says something, her voice is soft and tentative. "You know... this is the place he found me."

She had been nearly asleep when the girl spoke, and it startled her. She jerked sitting bolt upright, the breath within her lungs sucked in sharply. Wide eyed she looked int he direction of Charis, it was obvious that Nya had been crying. She reached up, wiping away the tears..."Why are you here? Is he with you?" she asked, she didn't want to be around him..not right now at least..

With an understanding smile Charis shakes her head. "No hes still in the bar." Turning to look at Nya, she smiles. One of her arms slipping out to brush some sand off of her arm. "I came here.. because you asked me a question and I didn't get the chance to answer it." Her past is one that she doesn't like bringing up in public places. Its one that she keeps rather close to her because its memories are both good and bad. But right now she is hoping to sooth Nya, which is why she continues. "I had escaped after a bad beating and akri found me here."

She relaxed visibly, the breath slowly exiting her lungs now as her heart began to regularize its own beat. She looked at her oddly though.. "So.. you can't change your tail into legs?" she asked, which was..really all she was asking.

The truth of that is a deeply guarded secret. However besides the ones who had first kidnapped her, Charis has not run into any of the ancient enemies of her past. So she supposes that there can be no harm in telling Nya the truth, although. Turning to look at Nya, her eyes are pleading. "Please don't tell akri but... yes I can. Before I was taken I was taught how to change but not how to change back."

"I don't see why he was so upset of me asking if you could change. The Merfolk within my land can, I saw you and thought maybe..you were of my land. I didn't mean to get cross with him...its just... " she sighed nodding.." I won't. I'd rather not speak to any hume at this point..." She shuddered openly, unable to help the reaction.

Charis sighs softly and nods, closing her eyes. She can explain why he got so angry but her reply to her is going to be somewhat chiding. With her eyes still closed she turns her head, letting her face encounter the sea breeze without any interference. "Seisuke is really very kind. Hes just somewhat... proper. The way you asked your questions was rather blunt. Plus when you turned to chide him you made assumptions that were a bit rude."

How else will I recieve an answer if I do not ask the question?" she said then, " He is not your keeper, in any case either, even if he did rescue you..it was your decision to answer, or to tell me mayhaps it wasn't the time. I was always taught to speak my mind, for I'll never know the answer should I not ask. " SHe said then, sighing.." I never ment to make assumptions, It just made me upset that he would answer FOR you, instead of allowing you to answer yourself. The humes in my world believe they own all..the land..the people..they act as if they are the only ones who matter.. to me...it seemed like he was acting as if he owned you.. and I did not like it. "
