Sorry I was gone today, but I've been real busy helping one of the guys who I got stuck to do a project with. And If we're commenting on Scotland's sexiness He is too sexy for words whee emotion_bigheart

.................... Somehow.... I fell asleep in my brother's car...... and woke up in North Carolina. I don't know what part of North Carolina I was in, but it was a total shock they carted me all the way across TN and over the border. I was only able to figure it out because when I bought some snacks there was no sales tax. That's when I was like "SOMETHING IS HORRIBLY WRONG HERE. Where AM I!? gonk "

Sorry for being gone all day, too. It was the first time in over a week I had a chance to see my fiance, and it would have taken Hell to keep me from it! xd I'm really tired now since it was a pretty busy day of dodging traffic during our adventure to the gas station for ice cream (we ended up getting sodas instead), playing in the park with a friend of his and her boyfriend, joking around, fighting with each other (in a friendly way), me almost cracking my skull on the side walk, going to dinner, and then curing mom of her Charlie Horse, so I promise to post tomorrow~! emotion_yatta

I drove about 2.5 to 3 hours from VA to NC today. I don't know if anyone understands how happy I was to see nothing but wide spread land of trees, on flat land and the highway that wasn't backed up with traffic.

Er....... I said sales tax....? How did that even happen? O___o;;; What I meant to say was that while I was buying snacks I saw the sun was setting behind the Smokey Mountains. So the mountains were in the "wrong place" and that's how I figured it out.... (wtf brain? Not communicating well to fingers apparently at all... I was talking with someone about sales tax but I didn't think I typed it.)
Is North Carolina really flat further east? It didn't seem too different but we were pretty much right by the border with TN. (When we went back over I was amazed by how dangerous the mountains separating them really are. If we didn't have those nicely paved roads then it would be super hard to cross the mountains... No wonder NC had trouble protecting him as a baby.)

Oooh! XD now that makes more sense!
It is where I live ^.^ I'm like 2 hours away from the east coast. But it takes us about 5 hours just to get to Charlotte from here.
lol I wasn't surprised to hear that when I was looking up history came across something about how difficult it was to get information between the two states. I can remember going to Tweetsie Railroad and freaking over of how narrow the roads were and how long of a drop it was down on the drive there.
