((Well, essentially, Moe was actually Moe, but Bifrost, a god who wanted to destroy earth and had been controlling all aspects of Caleb's interactions with Moe's family, which means it was all fake since he first met her. Taro never actually met Robin, another illusion by Bifrost. Kopeilli saved Caleb from this mind control, and Caleb and Moe have now met. Now, Caleb and Moe are currently at Caleb's home in town near the school.))

Taro's brain was a bomb, and the rising sun was the timer. The tengu slept in a bed of grass and bottles, the latter perfuming the air with the scent of strong alcohol. The early morning light approached silently, like a lioness on the prowl, as it gathered streingth to smite the dozing drunk. A sunray fell upon the tengu's face with deadly precision, bleeding angry beams of light into his pulsing head. With discomfort, Taro turned, causing some glass bottles to clamber and clank as they rolled from the pile. The loud noise tore through his dreamless sleep to unleash a armada of pain. Now awake, Taro found himself in great peril. The sun was getting brighter with every intention to exploit his hangover while the bottles effectivly chained him down with the threat of loud noises. "Halp..." he gurggled pitifully.

I've escaped. Meredith looked awfully plain; though she was the first child born in the Time Government, she was always submissive, always compliant. Her abusive mother beat that into her, but her mother was dead. And when one problem was nulled, another came up.
Cirruleic offered her a life of peace, maybe love. She had lived for millenia, and her plum-colored hair and eyes scared away all others, as well as her horrible optical health.
She was forced by him to convince the two able to interfere that Bifrost was Moe. Only the plague doctor and the bird demon had power to interfere.
She had taken the guise of a hell princess, who she actually knew in person. She was forced to use the interferer's lack of knowledge to her advantage.

Blinded by the sun and sleep, Taro began to search the amber bottles around him by touch alone. Every jerk of his arm sent the glasses rolling, and their high-pitched chimes sent pain back. Finally, he heard a distinctly deeper ring: it was the sound of an unopened bottle. Sitting up, the tengu felt all the blood in his body ambush his groggy mind, piliging every notion of relief his discovery had brought him. A high wimper escaped from his dry lips as he attempted the ardious task of opening the bottle while keeping his eyes shut against the morning sun. After many minutes of failure trying to twist of the tin cap, the tengu was in agony as the sun brightened, the bottles rocked, and his brain tried to concentrate. With a sudden epithany, Taro's mouth sharpened into a beak that pryed the cap off with ease. Depositing the tin trinked into his robe pocket, Taro drank the alcohol with great relief. Without a care in the world, the tengu tossed the emptied bottle and curled into his robes, hiding ever inch of skin from the sun. [He collects shinny things... his robe is full of bottle caps by now.]

MoƩ pouted. "If you don't want it, then I'll eat it. No point in you wasting the food if you don't want to eat it!" ~*~ Meredith sighed. "MoƩ, where are you?... MoƩ?" She sighed sadly, and then took off her dull grey coat, wrapping it around her waist. She dusted off her black cloth fingerless gloves,, and shook her white T-shirt to cool herself off. It was early morning, and she switched her glasses to that of medicinal sunglasses to not hurt her horrid eyes even more.

Tucked into his clothes like a turdle, Taro began to worm his way through the courtyard in search for shelter. Without depending on his sight, the tengu roamed across the wet grass in random desperation to find his tree. Blind as he was, Taro did not see Meredith untill he ran into the back of her legs, but the colision was more than enough information the tengu needed to know he had found his tree. Shuffling deeper into his robes, Taro curled himself against Meredith's 'roots', and drifted to sleep like a dog made of rags.

Meredith saw/felt Taro, and shrieked. "Taro?" O-Oh no! I'm supposed to be a stranger... She tried to help him up.

The familar shriek sent waves of pain aross the barren landscape of Taro's mind. "Robin?" Taro questioned from inside his clothes as he was pulled up. Quickly, the crafty crow hung himself around the woman, more to stop himself from falling off the world than to catch a feel... and managed to accomplish both. "My princess... I need saki." he insisted with desperation from under fabric that smelt like it had been bathed in alcohol, "It is the only way I can get rid of this hangover."

Meredith felt a big stab at her heart, and gave him a bottle of sake that had been fermented for millions of years. "Taro, you've dealt with illusions before, right? I was forced by a kidnapper to deceive you until his plan was carried out. I-I'm really sorry. I look much uglier, and my name is Meredith, not Robin. The real Robin is engaged to the son of a demon slayer; I am the first child born into the Time Government, a collector and measuring system for souls." She paused. "Though I have the worst genes possible, which is why I was used as a test subject, hostage and scapegoat-stooge. Go ahead, laugh."

Feeling the heavy bottle in his hand, Taro emerged from the folds of fabric with every ounce of focus on the strong drink. He took several heathy swigs before addressing 'Robin's' confession. ""My beautiful hell spawn," he said, hiding the still half full bottle into his robes and taking his beloved's hand while kneeling at her feet. "Our love is no illusion, and I could never laught at the treasure we share." He wiped a tear from his eyes, still looking at the ground. "And I can not stand foryou marrying another, please... My love." He said, finally meeting her eyes. "ACK!" he responded as he bit down on his tongue in surprise and his face froze in shock.

Meredith turned away. "I-I'm nothing like Robin. I'm not fiery, confident, or powerful." She sighed. "I'm Meredith Methuselah. I don't even know my own age. My blood is infused with Montblanc and MoƩ's blood, but I have no power. I could be considered the most disastrous mistake in the history of creation." [[Meredith's history sucks XD;;]]

"You certainly have you sister's gloomy outlook... I think is something to do with the glasses you two wear." Taro said as he stood, for some reason not understanding the situation and assuming Meredith was Robin's sister. "As for power, you are quite mistaken." he winked, "Just like Robin, you bewitch men with a single glance. But I suppose Robin has bewitched a... demon slayer's son? Must be a marrage of convenience... but to send you to tell me in her place... My heart aches knowing her plight, being forced into a loveless marrage. As the two that love her most in this world, we must be the ones to save your sister!" He drifted off, eyes open to the blue sky and Meredith's hand clasped in his own. [Taro's I.Q. sucks more, I bet.]

"If it would put you into a better state of being, then I will. Otherwise, enjoy your meal." Caleb walked out of the room, leaving the smell of lavender and saffron behind as his heels clicked away.
