Bobby laughed, "Ah! You caught me!" She winked and reached over for the bag. Pulling out some beef jerky, she offered it to Colche, "Would you like some?"

After offering, she also took out a couple fruits. They would tie her 'starving' stomach over until the end of the film, she was sure. Bobby nibbled on the fruit quietly and carefully. She didn't want to disrupt the movie, nor did she want to get Colche's fur all sticky.

Colche's nose wrinkled at the jerky, she had had the stuff before it really ddidn't appeal too much to her. Shaking her head she nestled back in to her comfortable possition to fwatch the movie. She hummed and half sang along to the songs, she knew them from watching so many times.

"Bobby has big rumblies, like poooh bear" she giggles, she was comfortable and happy and not particularily hunry though she would certainly be in need of a nap after this movie. All that sword fighting had tired her out.

Bobby shrugged and nibbled on the jerky. It wasn't pork, so she was perfectly comfortable with the act. As Colche hummed, she swayed a little in time with the music. Except for the one song, she didn't know the melody and so could not join in.

The woman laughed, for she was just compared to a stuffed bear! "Well, Colche..." Bobby paused, trying to think of a comparison. "Colche has a sweet voice and purrs like Marie." She wasn't sure if the cheetah knew of the white kitten from Aristo-Cats... actually, she was shocked she remembered the name.

Colche giggles "everybody wants ta be a cat" she grins looking up at the woman. Colche had watched that film alot too, it was full of cats, little ones, but still cats. She knew she was a 'kitty' though that was in the broad sence of the word. To be more specific she was a 'princess cheetah'.

"Bobby purty fairy like merryweather n lots nice too" she gave a gentle, rather sleepy sigh as she nestled deep in to Bobby once again. She was starting to feel dozey.

Colche

Bobby grinned and patted Colche's hair. So she did know who Marie was! After finishing the small amount of food she had taken out, Bobby re-wrapped her arms around the nestling cheetah. She gave Colche head a small kiss. "Thank you, dear. That means a lot to me," the woman whispered, turning her attention back to the movie for a little bit.

Colche smiled softly, the warmth of the room and the comfort she felt nesting on Bobby,s he was kinda a big, squishy pillow, as well as the nice music of the film made ehr long blink. Her big blue eyes slowly closed and a gentle, vibrating but very quiet puurr echoed from her chest as she slowly dozed off cuddled in to Bobbys lap. She already knew the ending after all. She was happy to nap, just where she was. With Bobby the fairy.

Bobby watched the rest of the movie, with the purring cheetah in her lap. Long ago, she had assumed Colche had fallen asleep. Manuevering with surprise ease considering her new body mass, Bobby was able to turn off the movie, grab her sack of food, and manage to leave the building. All the meanwhile with a specific cheetah princess in her arms.

Walking the length back, Bobby took Colche back to the cheetah's own duplex and rested her on the bed. Silently, tucked the girl in and gave her a good-night's kiss on the forehead. "Sleep well, precious Colche," she whispered.

Bobby left the duplex for her own, with her sack of food in tow.

Stuck to the door of the cafeteria with a strip of electrical tape is a hand-made poster, written in black marker on a plain piece of paper.

Are you ready to PARTY?

Hey there! My name is Fiona, and from what I've seen what this island needs is a little life and a little energy to keep things from getting boring.

Some time in the future I plan on throwing a huge beach party, complete with roasting pits, a barbeque, and if I can get your help, some music!

I'm looking for people to help me dig the firepits and gather blankets and cook food, but I also need some musical talent! If you think you know what you're doing, come visit me, Fiona, at duplex 39! If I'm not around, leave a note or look for me wandering around.

See you there!

P.S. If you don't wanna lug stones, you could do the huge job of showing up and having a hell of a good time!!

Alec shuffled towards the cafeteria, hands stuffed in his pockets with his head hanging low. The normally-bubbly teen had one thing on his mind; eating. So much so that he almost missed the note on the front door entirely. "Hm?" He squinted as he scanned it, expression changing a few times throughout the duration of the read. He definetly thought it was interesting, especially the bit on musical talent though he wasn't sure if he was sure of himself enough to participate. "Eh, we'll see." He hm'ed and pushed open the door to the caf.

The teen made a b-line for the food, piling it on high.

Most of Nita's forays to the cafeteria had been at odd enough hours that she'd been the only one there. Furthermore, she'd been sure to carry food back to stock her minifridge. This time, however, she had company. A few minutes after Alec arrived, Nita made her way through the door. She stopped for a moment to read through the note. A party. Heck, she might even go.

Nita went through the buffet line, snagging a grilled cheese sandwich, some fries, and raw vegetables. Holding her tray carefully so as not to spill anything, she sat at the same table as Alec on a whim. "Hey," she said. "How've you been?" She was determined to be polite, even if his music and drumming (and last night's shenanigans! D: ) had been driving her nuts.

"Aye." Alec mumbled, holding his head in a hand as if the act of speaking was painful enough. "Am' alrigh'." He murmured and opened his eyes, the realization of who he was talking to finally sinking in. He gave a heavy sigh, tossing his boots up to prop them onto the vacant chair to his side. "Gotta 'eahache." The teen winced but reached over to spoon chunk of meatloaf into his mouth, greatful his stomach was allowing him to keep things down.

"And ye?" He motioned to her with the fork. "How are ye fairin?"

"I'm okay, I guess. Trying not to think about stuff too much." Surely by now he'd have been given the pertinent information. She eyed him, slightly amused. "You hung over?"

Nita ate rather slowly, taking small, even bites from her sandwich.

Maybe on another day, Alec couldn't responded with a boy 'Maybe' or some other smart-a** reply, but today he was suffering way too much to give the effort. "Ye." He scoffed at himself, rubbing his eyes as he took a long slug of water from his cup. "'ad a liiiittle too much las' nigh'." He smirked, though there really wasn't much to laugh about. Repetitive puking definetly was not a highlight of the day.

Nita sniffed, feeling a bit sorry for him nonetheless. "Keep drinking water," she advised. "And bread is good; it'll settle your stomach." Serves you right, a tiny part of her thought. She'd witnessed too many hangovers over the years, although she'd never herself been more than tipsy.

"I'll be 21 next month. You?" She raised her brows in query.

Alec did as was suggested, grasping his water glass to drain most into his mouth. He incoherently wondered if meatloaf contained any bread, uncaringly stuffing more into his mouth. He shut his eyes and wrinkled his nose as he chewed, though stopped what he was doing the minute she asked of his age. The teen glared up at the red-head, though his expression wasn't angry in any way it definetly conveyed a "Don't even start". He'd had enough of that guilt for one day.
