Finn followed Ein in a tailing flash, she had him on the ropes maby she could back him into a corner and take him out there. Needless to say, after that whole chase she wasn't willing to just hit and run anymore. The instinct of the hunt had kicked in and Ein was backing away.

As he drew out the gladii Finn went push his wrists asside with her own hands, one to either side of him, to get inside his gaurd. She felt the silver of the blades in close quarters and hissed with an angry not quite human sound. Her helmet was still on, so in the protection of the smash-proof dome she made a head-but motion to crack his skull in with all the force of a moving car... or in this case, pissed off Lycan.

As soon as Finn made to open his guard like he had expected, he did something that very few people could do. Ein did the vertical splits as Finn attempted to skull-bash him, which would cause her to miss, since his head was now down a couple feet. This was possible thanks to the tiger DNA that had been grafted onto his own—nice to see he got something other than a tail and stripes out of the patchwork genetics that made him what he was. Stabbing one sword into the ground, he hefted himself toward Finn, aiming his other sword at her midsection for a slash followed up with a hand-spin kick with his bladed boots. Something to knock her away or anything to get her to back off.

Finn took a step to the side to avoid getting cut in two by the cursed silver blades. The blades tore at her shirt and jacket, barely touching her skin but even the little scrape burned like white hot fire. She growled in anger as she took another swipe at his head wile he pulled back his blade. Finn made to embed her claws into his skull, or even scalp him, just a good shot would make her content! She pulled her free hand up to her face in a block as he swung his foot around to peg her with his blade boot.

It was a good block, Finn twisted her arm so she could grab his ankle and then kicked at his hand in an attempt to throw him over her shoulder and onto the ground with a hard thump.

"I've gotten a little better since you last saw me."

Finn said with an evil hiss to her voice. Obviously she had grown out of her puppy teeth, as she flashed her permanent teeth beneath her helmet. She was older, faster, and stronger now and it was quite possible for this hunter to be out of his league if he didn't stop underestimating her.

Ein was really beginning to thank the white-coats for making him part tiger. As Finn swung him over her shoulder and toward the ground, Ein brought himself to a shocking stop by jamming one of his swords into the ground again. Having left the other one stuck in the ground, thanks to Finn picking him up, he had a free hand...

...which had grabbed one of the handcannons from his vest mid-fling. Anyone looking at the pair would see something very interesting. Ein was practically bent over backwards, one hand on the hilt of the sword that had stopped his fall, with Finn holding him by his ankle, and him aiming the handcannon near point-blank range at her with a grin on his face. Firing off one round, he had counted on the kickback to knock him back a foot or so, separating his ankle from Finn's grip and also allowing him to jerk his sword out of the ground. Springing to his feet, he faced Finn again, a sort of sadistic grin on his face.

Are we having fun yet? Came a familiar dark voice from the back of his mind.

His steel blue eyes were tinged with flecks of crimson as he huffed, looking like he was out of breath. His teeth seemed sharper now.

Finn twisted his ankle in rage, he didn't hit the ground but she was going to break his leg for it! With a twist and a tug that only someone with ungodly amounts of strength could accomplish she attempted to tear his leg out of it's socket. This burst of strength forced her sideways a little, and she didn't see the cannon, but thankfully he missed because of her jerking his leg and attempting to basically dismember it from his body.

In a lucky twist of fate for Finn, the kickback was ridiculous and Ein was torn from her grip, literally! Her claws had dug into where she was holding and his leg was literally torn away from her. With a spiteful roar she hoped that the kickback also assisted in her breaking his leg. The lycan began to circle him in a way that was vaguely reminiscent of a predator who has cornered it's pray. Her eyes where flecked with gold and her fangs showing as she huffed with wolf-like growls, circling him and waiting for just the right moment.

Ein didn't feel the pain in his leg...or, rather, couldn't feel it. All he did was start laughing as the sickening sound of him popping his leg joint back in place rang through the air. Dropping his weapons, the laughing turned into a battle cry as Ein charged with a newfound speed and strength at Finn, throwing blows wherever he saw an opening. To those who were trained of hearing, one could detect what sounded like a tiger roaring behind the battle cry.

She's asking for it... The voice in the back of his mind practically purred in enjoyment. Keep going! It egged him on.

Ein never enjoyed the mental battles he underwent during times of major duress. They usually ended badly. What he didn't know is that this aided greatly in his memory lapses. All the wounds that Finn had inflicted thus far were of no consequence to him. The gash on his arm, the bullet graze on his cheek, the previously dislocated leg, and the twisted ankle. They were practically nonexistent. All he could think about right now was killing the person in front of him.

Finn obliged the hunter, who apparently seemed to be undergoing some sort of mental transformation, as he charged at her she danced around them with a cool and deadly smile underneath the helmet. She still had her mind, however little of it was left anyway, she was quickly going berserk in this high adrenalin battle. Eventually he landed a few blows on her helmet and knocked it off, with quick reflexes Finn caught it on the way down.

Now it was her turn for a wild howl, rather wolven in it's taste. She blocked another blow towards her face and tipped the hunter off balance. With her free hand, the one holding the helmet, she began to ruthlessly pound the hunter with the helmet, cracking the eye shield against his skull with the power of her strikes. If he moved to let her other hand free she would slash at him with her claws as well as hammer his face in with the brick of a helmet. She growled in a wolfish way that screamed of victory.

Ein stumbled back, but didn't fall as Finn had hoped. His face was bleeding quite a bit and his neck seemed bent at an uncomfortable angle. With a quick movement, he whipped his neck back into place...which was accompanied by a rather nauseating crack. Had he been a manner of creature like a human, he would've been long dead.

No such luck.

Come on...come on... The voice yelled in the back of his mind. Just a little more... It mused in anticipation of something...

Bull rushing Finn with a renewed ferocity, he threw attacks relentlessly and seemingly with even more strength than the first charge, not caring for his own condition or whatever damage he would take. His tunnel vision had him focusing on one thing and one thing only: beating on Finn until she stopped moving.

Luck was on Finn's side, the hunter was becoming stupid and enraged... bloodthirsty, although Finn was rapidly becoming the same she was more familiar with the feeling and could control her actions. Making her twice as deadly as the rampaging Hunter now was.

With a snarl she ducked down as Ein charged at her, kicking her foot out towards his legs as he ran so he would tumble over her back. True she would get several slashes across the back, but he would be left defenceless on the ground. She stood up quickly, throwing the hunter to the ground with an audible thump. She then pounced on him, with her claws extended outwards to slash at anything open to her and her fangs ready to chomp down on the first limb presented to her.

As Finn pounced, he pulled in his legs and, right as she was about to connect, teeth and claws flailing, let loose a mule kick strong enough tear off a car door into her chest. Rolling sideways to get farther away, Ein stood once more, panting heavily with that sadistic grin still plastered on his face. His eyes were almost completely clouded over with the blood red hue. Despite how profusely he was bleeding, the loss of blood didn't seem to faze him at all. As the last hint of blue was lost from his eyes, he felt his whole body pulse. Collapsing to his knees, he gripped his head with both of his hands in pain. It was an intense pain...a familiar one that he had become far too acquainted with.

Showtime.

Ein roared in pain as it felt like his insides were on fire, and his entire being was racked with that insurmountable pain. His body began to change. Teeth curved and sharpened, grey-orange fur began sprouting from a body that was writhing and twisting as his bones cracked and shifted and his insides had to rearrange themselves to accommodate the transformation. He went through numerous other changes in his skeletal and muscle structures and they expanded and grew to a new size.

The creature he had become rose to its feet, full height measuring in at a staggering near eight feet tall, free of its confines once again to wreak whatever havoc it may...

...starting with Finn.

Deathgod Kuro Kihaku

She slowly put her hands to her sides and looked at him. "I...didn't mean to wake you, I'm sorry." Her gaze fell to the ground around her feet and she fiddled with her thumbs.
Ryoku just laughed as she began acting like a child who had just been lectured. "So, what are here for?" He put his hands on the back of his head as he stood in a relaxed pose. "Oh yeah, excuse my rudeness, I am Ryoku Hakkyou." He bowed in a polite manner and then returned to his relaxed stance.

She looked back up at him and half-smiled. "I was just...curious." She tried not to be obvious and yet she didn't pay much attention to what she said.

(( For those of you who Ein didn't show the picture to, it's an 8 foot tiger ))

Finn hardly expected Ein to recover nearly so fast after a throw like that. Hell, most people would be out like a light after what she was hauling him through. The mule kick hit her right in the gut and she dragged her claws along his legs as she was forced backwards. It was the only thing she could grab hold of in such a quick response, and it slowed her down before hitting the wall... Not that it helped much.

She still hit it with a sickening thud that usually meant something was dead. Finn slid to the floor, her breath knocked out of her for a moment and she cracked a few bones into place, as if she had simply been sparing and someone had hit her at an uncomfortable angle. And when she finally caught her breath to see the great white tiger staring her down she couldn't help but bear her fangs at it in a defiant way, willing her hackles into place and her bones stretching under the moon she growled. Her barks and wolven challenges becoming more wild as she grew into her brown fuzzy wolf-self.

Now the playing field was level, and let the games begin. At her height she wasn't huge for a lycan, but she stood only a few inches below the massive tiger's height, with enough muscle to make up for it proportionatly. Finn roared in challenge at the great beast as she flexed the claws she was familer with useing.

The cabbie pulled up to the address that Bridegt had given him and came to a stop. It was still drizzling when she got out of the taxi and got her duffle bag and went into the Eddington Arms Apartment Building. The place seemed new and familar to her as she passed people in the lobby and made her way to the elevators. She went to the 14th floor of the 15th
story; old hotel and took the emergency stairs to the 15th story. There she punched in her entrance code into the electronic lock and security
system and entered a short hallway...she walked to the door at the end and repeated the process and entered her apartment.
Bridget went over and turned on the lights and set her duffle bag down.. and then went over to check the security systems and swept each room for explosives and bugs. It was seven in the morning when she had finished and was satisfied that in all likely-hood the apartment hadn't been breached while she had been away. Still she implemented a new program and re-set the system before deciding to call it a day and went to sleep.
PostPosted: Wed Apr 23, 2008 6:35 pm

Bridget slept fitfully throughout the day her mind re-playing what had happened outside of Los Noches 2 years ago and her time back at where
Project Nemisis had been conducted and Mr. Smythe. That b*****d and those others tried to strip her of the abilities they had given her....she knew she weaker now from the tests they conducted on her before they were forced to let her go but she was more dangerous now because she decided to be and before she left managed to get some info that could prove quite damning should it come to light.
She then dreamt all the way back to the flood and those days and nights,
Sanchez(now dead these past 2 years) and even the raid on that Lycan terrorist group where she killed a roomful of children and called the Haven
leader on it when he tried to make her feel guilty.
There was a flash of lightning and a loud thunderclap and Bridget woke in a sweat..... it was night and it was storming outside. Bridget got up and
went to the gymn she had and started to lift weight... with each exercise
and rep. she was determine to regain what she lost thru blood and sweat.
It also occurred to her that she would need to start re-making her connections tonite. "The sooner the better." she thought as she continued.
