Looking up from her nails that she was picking at, she smiled weakly. "Thank you. Um, well..Do you have a son?" she asked, quite bluntly, with a small, polite smile, and shining gray eyes.

Laying down on the counter top kaden kicked his legs over his body happily resting his head in both hands in a curious manner. "..." Letting his blue eyes dance over both the woman and him he waited for the mans answer; It was indeed intresting to watch people converse with one another. His bright eye still waltzed across Cassanovas face for a reaction; she seemed so kind compared to some people he knew. She seemed calm she had grey eyes and was much older then he was. But that wasn't stopping him from admiring her and comparing her to other people that looked like her that he'd seen. His eyes then gazed over Allen. How interested in there conversation he was.

Allen's grey eyes slowly faded into small sorrow. He glanced over at Kaden fondly as if to mask the sadness. "I did." He began, sliding his finger over the bar. "For three years I did. But... My ex... She killed him." He murmured, letting his hand stop, "I have a daughter, too, but Maria probably brainwashed her to her ways." He shook his head, "It feels like I lost two children."

"I.. I'm terribly sorry to hear that. K-killed?" she asked, shaking the silly ideas out of her head. "You just... Remind me a lot of my boyfriend. Coincidence, I suppose." Her hands trailed circles on the bar top, as she looked up to Allen. "I lost a child, too. My Ex has her... I would suppose she hates me, too. Thinks I abandoned her after all that he told her.." Cass sighed, the light of happiness flickering from her eyes, as for the first time in a while, she really felt sad. It was hard to accept that she didn't have her daughter, no matter how much time she spent with Rhi and Liam.

Allen nodded, eyes looking down to the bar. "She killed him the moment she heard I had 'died'. My faked death wasn't my choice, though. It was the Elder's choice to put all shape-shifters into hiding until we were not hunted anymore. Of course that's all stopped, but I can never return to my family." He clenched his fist, eyes going glassy. "How... How could a mother not love her child? No matter what form he took... I should have taken Hayln with me. He would have been safer in hiding... So many things I would do over again."

"That sounds familiar.." Kaden murmured scratching at his closed eye that seemed to never open. There where small red dots on his eye lids, just faint. He watched as the mood iddled down to a semi-sad one around them and he pulled himself across the counter a bit to listen in closer. "Umm..Excuse me.." He said pulling himself up to sit biteing his finger.]

Cass wiped the back of herh ands at her eyes, trying to keep without bawling. "He was young, wasn't he? S-so was she. I shouldn't have left her when I ran.." Cass bit into her cheek, not really knowing why she was telling this man she did not know all of this. It felt right, though. Also to hear it just felt normal.

"He was three." Allen reached over the bar and squeezed her shoulder and smiled a little, "Love has hurt you so badly and yet you're in love again. This boyfriend must be something." He murmured, "Why don't you tell me about him, hmm?" He suggested, really wanting to get of the subject... And not really at the same time. He looked over to Kaden and patted the boy on the back, "Not at all. Make youself at home, my boy."

Kaden rubbed his face softly and hugged himself sliding back on his bum. It didn't seem wise to ruin what they where experiencing. He recalls River saying it in one word which he struggled with in his head and managed to say it just right." D-disconsolation..." He watched them both tilting his head just enough to show he was wondering why the woman suddenly felt sad. What about the Topic was making them sad. He was Seven and he couldn't place it.How unintelligent he felt at the moment; there was no helping how he felt though- maybe how they felt. But he wasn't going to trust a distracted person with the task or favor he was to ask of them. Why did River have to suddenly vanish?" Ah, Could you help me?" He asked reaching into his pocket at the sudden attention, pulling out the cotten-favored eye patch with a smile on his face. He was Ignoring his own thoughts suddenly not caring about them.

Allen arched an eyebrow and turned in his barstool to help the young neko. "Of course. What do you need help with?" He asked, eying the patch curiously. His eyes didn't look injured...

River watched silently; Dismissive of the whole situation of her Disapearing sure he couldn't see her and she didn't think Allen could either, she was Staring into a Mirror in her room to watch. This thing had its ups and downs yes; but River still loathed it's exsistance.
The soft music of String instruments played behind her as her record player slowly turned behind her.
kaden bounced and smiled looking around as he set the small patch down. "You can Sew?" Kaden asked digging into his pocket pulling out a thick needle and some very black very thick stitching thread. "My left eye." He said tapping beside it; as it was closed and remained that way as his right one smiled at Allen."See! there is even dot's to fallow!" He said running his small fingers over his left eye in wonder.

Cass smiled weakly, looking at Allen. "It is because of him that I am in love again. It gets my mind off of other worries." Her voice had faltered back into her calm sense, as she melted back into her honey-like composure of sweet, loving, and kindness. "Well, he owns the very bar we stand in. He's.. A slightly slender, brightly blond, and has an undoubtedly caring core." she said, with a smile that shone brightly in the warm lights of the bar.

Allen took the needle and tilted his head to the side even more, "Wait a second. What do you want me to sew?" He asked, one green-blonde eyebrow arched. He looked over at Cass and smiled, "Sounds like a wonderful man for you." He said with a grin. "Is he a neko, like yourself?" He asked, glad to hear happy things.

Pausing, Cass shook her head. His smile was just too familiar to be alright. A man she did not know had welcoming charm so much like... "Well, no. He is a human. But, he has.. Neko-like features. It's why he was taken in by someone not of his original parents. Nearly blind, though his eye sight seems to be improving lately."

He smiled and reached out to the needle. " You have to sew my eye shut; my left one." He said tapping under it again with a giddy smile. " It's okay if it hurts; Toto-san said pain is just a way to remind people they are alive." He said happily waiting for the skin around his eye to feel the sting of the needle's tip. It was quite exciting and he always had a hard time sitting still. "I've no left eye, so you sew the eye lid shut so I don't struggle with not using it see?"
