Bigby Wolf How about letting me know just why you killed Wally West? *leans in to Bigby and frowns*
Watch what you say Bigby. Jus' because you `ave all de other suspects intimidated beyond belief doesn't give you de right to go an' flat out accuse me of bein' de killer.

Oh, I have no right, do I?
Leans in just as close, so that the two cigarettes are nearly touching.
I have someone who can testify that you headed off to find Wally West in an agitated state of mind, proof that West was attacked by someone who could overtake him-proven by a simulation run in the Cyberdome a couple of days ago-AND forensic evidence that states it's a strong possibility West's heart was stopped thanks to an infusion of kinetic energy.
I don't think I need to bring up that for the last couple of days, not only have you seemed quite calm and relaxed, but you've also seemed more then willing to, as you put it, 'be a shoulder for Linda Park West to cry on.'
So, LeBeau, if you have an alibi, I'd certainly like to hear it, and I hope it's a good one.

*Remy takes his cigarette out and calmly exhales a thin, stream of smoke before looking into Bigby's eyes with his own calm, dark orbs*
"First of all, Bigby, you need to get your story straight because it don' sound like you know half as much as you might think you do. Yeah, I was goin' to look for Wally to have a chat wit' him about our dear little Kitty Pryde, but I never got a chance to talk to him. I saw him, or thought I did, downtown when he was havin' a run. Damn wind blew by me an' I hear a "High Remy!" a few seconds later, sound barrier I guess, but dat is de closest I got to talkin' to him or even seein' him until after we walked in an' saw him dead."
*Remy grinds his cigarette out into the ash tray and stands up to fix a drink*
"I'm not even sure I could take Wally in a fight. If he stayed normal speed, maybe, but if he hit me wit' dat super-sonic of his, den no. Even I admit dat! An' if you knew anythin' about my power mon ami, you'd know if I wanted to charge up his heart like you seem to be accusin' me of, den I'd have to either be holdin' it in my hand or be lookin' directly at it."
*Remy sits back down across from Bigby and takes a sip of his rum.*
"Now, if you have any more questions, why don' you go ask your boy Nate Grey? He was in here threatenin' to render me comatose if I wouldn't answer questions for him in your name."

Bigby snorts.
Nate Grey? You gotta be ******** kidding me. I've read up on you, LeBeau, and not only do I have no interest in siccing psychics on people like attack dogs, but I don't trust 'thoughts' and 'feelings' that can't be qualified with cold hard facts.
As for your statement, you'll have to do better then the snotty holier-than-thou attitude, LeBeau. You're no angel, you're no innocent, and your hands aren't clean of blood. In fact, of all of the suspects, save the one who's Satan, you've got the biggest body trail behind you, whether inadvertant or not.
You've got a wrap sheet six miles long, a propensity towards betrayal and disloyalty, and in my book, that's more then enough reason to put you on top of the suspect list. So how about cutting out the highfaulutin s**t and showing me what you're really made of?

"You listen to me god damn it."
Remy says in a cold and quiet tone as he slams back the rest of his drink and slams the glass down onto the counter.
"Do I have a past? Yes, one that I fully admit that I am not exactly proud of. But I've done every damn thing I could have since to wipe my slate clean an' make up for everything I've done! Did I accidentally kill my brother-in-law? At de time, I thought yes. But if you'd learn somethin Bigby, HE challenged ME to a duel because he could not stand dat a thief married his sister, an Assassin! An we find out years later he ain't even dead!"
Remy's voice grows louder ever so slightly.
"Did I work for Sinister? Yes. Did I arrange de creation of de Marauders? Yes. Did I lead dem into de Morlock tunnels? Yes! But I did NOT know what de hell dey were goin' to be doin' when dey got there! Soon as I saw what dey were doin', I almost died tryin' to stop dem an' save who I could but de point is, I tried! De X-Men finally understood, Warren who's wings got clipped once because of dat buried de hatchet wit' me an' forgave! Have I done dealings wit' Sinister since? Only when I had no other place to turn! My past is in my past Wolf and I DON'T like it bein' dug up superficially! I may be a damn t'ief but I'm not an Assassin."

You didn't know, you didn't know, you didn't know. For a guy who acts like he knows a lot, LeBeau, you seem really quick to retreat into this realm of sudden ignorance.
Bigby's sneer turns into a quiet growl.
Yeah, it's true. You're nothing but a thief. And no one trusts you. Your employee didn't trust you, and if I had to venture a guess, I'd say Wally probably didn't trust you much, either. Is that what bothered you? Is that what took you over the line from just thief to murderer?

"Have some Alpo an' calm yourself Bigby. If I wasn't trusted den I wouldn't even be wit' de X-Men now would I?"
Remy stands back up and rests his arms on the counter of the bar so he could look Bigby over.
"Am I a t'ief? Damn right mon ami. De best in de husiness. But dere is a big difference between a t'ief an' a cold blooded murderer. I've been distrusted by many a person in my time, but never did I resort to killin' any of dem. I don' even know if Wally trusted me or not. We've had talks but few an' far between, so why don't you tell me maybe what I would have benefited by his untimely demise...an' don' say Linda because I may be a romantic but I'm not Emma Frost. I don' move in on someone's spouse when dey're just buryin' deir beloved."

But you do move in, don't you. You treat it all pretty lightly, like this is a game. Make jokes, act clever, get a free ticket out of suspicion by charming folks?
Points a finger....claw...at Remy right in his face.
I don't ******** buy it. Your attitude may get the fangirls wet in the panties, but all I see is the fact that your heart rate is rising the longer I talk. You're breathing harder...as much as you try to hide it...you know you're capable of this.
I say that you're not only capable, but you already did. Did you think, perhaps, that the new regime in charge-
Jerks a thumb in Patsy's direction
Would be a little more lenient on you, maybe? Did West's 'distance' bother you? The lack of guild funds going into your business venture? Did it piss you off that your subordinets don't respect you, and feel the need to go running to him because you're too busy pocketing gold for a new pair of sunglasses-
Casually flips them off Remy's face
Rather then giving her a raise? COME on, LeBeau. Let's hear it. What was it that made you snap? Crawl out of your stinking hole of 'I don't know' and denial and be a man! Let's hear the TRUTH for once out of the mouth of the guild's biggest liar!

Remy flashes Bigby a cold but dangerous smile as he puts his shades back on.
"Touch me again Bigby, an' we'll see about a neutering dat seems in desperate need of."
Remy sits back down and folds his arms.
"Do I charm people? I can't help bein' me Bigby. We're not all dirty bums who wander de streets now are we?"
*A nod of the head toward Patsy.*
"Patsy is an employee of mine Bigby, not a sugar mommy. An in my own opinion, she's captain by her own decree, not official despite what she might think."
*Remy looks at the banner Patsy put up and a slow charge overcomes it and suddenly the poster ignites into a brief, tho small, kinetic explosion. He turns back to face Bigby again.*
"That's what I think of your accusation in her direction. I don' need guild funding for de Bistro. When I went into de past a few years back, I made some interestin' investments of my own. I also made some good money providin' food an' drinks for parties hosted by Bruce Wayne here in dis very Guild. I have more money den you might want to believe. But fine, we'll play your little game of cat n' mouse."
*Remy lights up another cigarette and inhales. Seconds later, he exhales, eyes closed before focusing his attention on Bigby.*
"Kitty came to me, askin' for a raise. I told her no, not now because de Bistro's only been blown up half a dozen times since it's inception, if not more. So yeah, I told Kitty no, I wouldn't give her a raise. I'm already payin' her $350 weekly jus' for sloppin' drinks! What more could she want? Sure I could have easily afforded de raise but at de time, I didn' think she needed one an' I told her so."
*He flicks an ash towards Bigby.*
"So what does she do? She gets all pissy an' makes a crack about how someone who caused Angel to lose his wings could be righteous about money an' I jus' about blew de roof off. Dat is one part of my past I want left buried an' she sunk to a new low jus' cause I wouldn't give her a raise. We had words an' I decided to leave an' go to Wally's party early to have some time to cool down, an' have a chat wit' him. Kitty always held him in fairly high regard an' de bitter part of me wondered how he'd feel about Miss Kitty actin' like she caught a hairball between her...teeth. I snatched a bottle of vodka an' left."
*Remy brushes the hair from his eyes.*
"I wasn' thinkin' straight an' popped open de bottle an' had a few drinks while walkin' to Wally's, an' before I knew it, put away a third of de bottle. Like I said, I saw Wally, but didn' talk to him, an' didn' even get to his home until after Kitty already had."

A sneer crosses Bigby's face.
Patsy's your employee, eh? On your payroll? Like having someone under your charge who's got some power, I'd bet...
Writes a note on the journal.
I gave you too much credit, LeBeau. Here I thought you'd at least have the balls to show you were a real man. Instead I get a nicey-nice speech about how you were wronged by a bitchy employee and decided to get snookered in responce.
Just how much did you drink, LeBeau? It's one thing to engage in premeditated murder, but killing someone because you're blind, stinking drunk and can't tell the difference between shaking a man's hand and causing a mini explosion in his heart....tsk, tsk, tsk.
