As they were walking on the beach, Ike stopped Typhlosion and pointed up to the sky. Something extreamly bright, yet small, had appeared high above the atmosphere. Ike pulled out a pair of sunglasses to try to get a better look, and upon a better inspection, it appeared to be a comet.
"Cool!" He said. He handed the glasses over to Typhlosion so he could take a look.
Ike messaged everyone on his TADS to come up to the beach to take a look.
Miles and miles away in Sinnoh, Saturn had tapped Marty on the shoulder to gaze up at the same object, but to their point of view, the comet's tail was more distinct. It was traveling west at an alarming speed.

*TADS starts to beep and reaper grabs it and opens it to see the message sent from Ike and heads towards the beach*

*recieves the same unexpected message from Ike via TADs not even taking time to read it figuring it was the same as Reaper's following close behind him toward the beach* "Strong is definately good, Corphish was powerful to begin with, I can't wait to see it in battle."

"Same here, im sure he will do great in a battle, but that isn't the only thing thats gonna happen today." *looks at his pokeballs while running up to the beach through the teleporter and arrives at the beach and rushes to Ike* "Hey Ike what is it?"

As the two members emerge onto the beach, the bright light grows larger by the second.
"It's a comet." answered Ike to Reaper. "But comets don't grow... do they?" asked Ike
"Not unless it's coming right at us." replied Typhlosion, with a 'duh' tone to his voice.
"Heh, but what are the odds?" he asked everyone.

*turns to Ike after landing on the beach out of a teleporter* " with our luck 99 percent of the time we are in dire danger, so i suggest we just get out of the way of this thing...."

Maddy randomly appeared by Ike and pulled her hood up so shadows were cast over her face. "I don't like bright things... Let's explode it."

"Good thinking, Kw." said Ike as he recalled Typhlosion.
The comet, though, was closer than it seemed as it went crashing into the mouth of the bay which Aquos's HQ looked out upon underwater with a blinding light.

O_O "Um, Maddy? I think you should get working on that explosion. preferably waterproof....." *a large spout of water shoots over the shore from the crash leaving me soaked from the neck down.*

Ike felt like running, but the water was acting weird. Sure, waves were created from the impact, but they were beginning to freeze. Soon all the water in the bay began to freeze.
"Wait... comets don't instantly freeze what they hit. This wasn't a normal comet." Ike said walking up to the water line which was turning into solid ice. The cold air could be felt coming off the ice.
Suddenly the team was ambushed by some ice-type pokemon.
"Get ready to battle an ice-type guys." he said, pulling Typhlosion's ball again.
