This morning, Ike was up on the edge of the beach with Typhlosion where the sands meet the woods. They both have found a fallen tree trunk to sit on and face east to watch the early sun rise. All the leafs on the trees behind him were either half bare or completely orange, golden, or brown. The wind was cold, but the sunlight kept them warm.
"Today's gonna be one of those days, isn't it Quil?" asked Ike, his head low by his eyes on the horizon. He quickly caught his mistake and looks over at his partner. "Ty, I mean. Sorry." he apologized with a quick chuckle.
"Nah, that's ok. Quil's fine." Typhlosion said.

By noon time, Ike and Typhlosion were walking along the beach for no apparent reason. Just boredom, he guessed.
Miles and miles away in Sinnoh, Marty and Saturn were up on the surface working and testing on a strange, hand-held device. They weren't alone, for it seemed some ex-Galactic peons were working along with them.
The sky above the both scenes were the same: clear, bright, and the moon could be seen in broad daylight like it sometimes can be.
