Alyssa kept swinging the bat. She decided to grab a ball and try and hit it.

"so it's easy. ok, when i throw the ball to you try and hit it. if you hit it run to first base right there." she said and pointed to first. "but if someone on my team catches it before it hits the ground, then that's an out. once your team gets 3 outs then the teams switch. you can get outs by missing the ball 3 times, or not making it the the base before the ball." she said and handed charlette the bat.
