Hotari let her body fall forward some before she shook her head. Miyoko doesn't need me...Not right now...I'll just make things worse for her. she insisted, speech slow as her body trembled. She swallowed and looked to Erordia, mixed feelings in her eyes. I... she started again, pausing to sigh. I just hope I can be as strong as you some day...she whispered, her eyes welling with tears. I love you...ero...I don't want to be without you. As she finished her plea, her body let out a sob, her tears glittering in an almost slow motion as her body disappeared in a white flash of light, leaving nothing but the tears behind as they fell to the floor, glittering under the light of the club as they moved together to form a small silver key.

"Hotari..." She wanted to pull her into her arms...but she had already disappeared. Tears started to gather in her own eyes but she refused to let them fall. Instead, she reached out to pick up the key, not knowing whether or not it went to anything...but she wouldn't let it go. She the pushed herself up on the couch and just sat there holding the key.

The key seemed to pulse, faintly, not to the rythym of Erordia's heart, but another's. Hotari's. Whisps of voices started to make their way into Erordia's mind, all of which Hotari's. Giggling, happiness...so much joy. 'This is the key to my heart!' it told her, giggles trailing off as if in the wind.

When hearing the voice and laughter, Erordia froze then began to tremble. Her unshead tears rolled slowly down her cheeks, the key grasped tightly to her chest. "Why love? Why do you give me this and leave?" She spoke to no one but herself, knowing she'd get no answers. But she just sat there, not knowing whether or not to go find Hotari.

If you want, we can go to the cafe! Hotari's voice sang in Ero's mind, more a mere memory than invitation. Please just keep it... her voice mumbled in Ero's ear, as though she were right there again. I love you...So much...I just don't know if I can deal with just being friends...she continued, only a voice in Erordia's mind. If...at any time, my love...you want to be with me....you have the key...With that, the voices and laughter trailed off again, and the key grew warm in Ero's hands. It continued to pulse softly, the beat of Hotari's heart as she lay under the roses in the garden.

Trembling, Erordia stood up and looked toward the door. "I'll find you Hotari... We'll sort all this out..." With that, she walked to the door and left, depending on the key and her own heart to find Hotari.

Nuzzling against Jalceri, Merryn locked her arms around the other woman's neck. Kissing her deeply she grinned and eyed the wine. "I'm not so thirty all of a sudden.." she said as she untangled her arms to pour a glass anyway.

Running the back of her finger along Jalceri's cheek Merryn matched the grin, "I can't figure it out for the life of me," she said coyly.

Fluttering her wings; Merryn kissed Jalceri back all too gladly, pausing to place a hand at the small of Ceri's back.

Jalceri, determined not to break the kiss pulled Ryn her closer into her. Jalceri happily leaned herself forward more, making the kiss more firm and distinct.
