It wasn't the use of brains that put me off, just how they're always in a rush because the bad guy is always after them. But without a bad guy they don't really have a reason to find the treasure ASAP.
And ugh, 2012... I've heard that the only good parts are when they're showing the world falling apart. Other then that it's bland and done before. Plus I'm put off by the fact it's based on something that's over blown anyways.

XD Well, why not? Seriously, if they weren't being chased by the bad guy, there'd be no movie. But isn't it the same with every other movie?
<_<; Indeed. My sister was doing a paper on 2012 the other day...the only thing is she complained that she couldn't find anything on it. XD My sister amazes me.

Geeze, the history channel alone has 3 or 10 different programs about it. Then there's the stuff about the crytal skulls. And the poles shifting. Acctually I don't know much about it other then the fact it's over hyped so I can't say too much.

Ah Nostradamus, they always point to his work and try to say "He was talking about now!"
The Mayans are closer though. The whole calender running out and all. Of course that just means their long count calender is over, and if they was alive they would probably make a new one or something. I also don't trust how they say it ends on December 21, 2012. Nor how they claimed they pinpointed when it started either.

I already voted for you Grunny, and yes it was a five.
And if something was to happen on Dec. 21 2009, I'd rather it be something like a new species of plant will appear out of nowhere that can cure cancer but will only live for a week. Or magic become real and people would have to learn how to control it.
