Jake went to say something to Faith, but before he could, he collapsed onto the ground, clearly unconscious.

"No, I'm afraid not," Hanyuu said. "It's just Jake and Kisa, though, right?" She knelt by Jake and began to check his breathing and heart rate and discovered something shocking. "H-his magic is gone..." she said incredulously. "There's no trace of it!"

After a few seconds of this, Jake began to wake up. He was groggy and weak.
