 Nocturne's yellow eyes seemed to calculate something mentally and then look directly back into Kaine's gaze, "Perhaps you're right..." Without allowing the criminal to ponder, Talia firmed up her grip on Kaine and leapt upward -- back through the hole in the ceiling where she had entered. Dragging Mr. Fedora guy up, the blue furry mutant drags Kaine up a stairwell onto the roof access, emerging where Argent and Spiderman are waiting, "Sorry, had to alter the plan a bit."

Argent "Sort of clashes with my outfit....." Argent softly smiled as she saw Spidey getting all excited when he said something about their plan being like the classic dangling-criminals-from-a-lightpost maneuver. "It is a very good choice and good luck Nocturne."She said. She waited with Spidey and looked at him then spoke up."Yeah." She said. She was taken by surprise as Nocturne emerged from the hole in the roof she had created with Kaine in her grasp. "It's cool Nocturne."She said. "Now Mr.Fedora we have a few questions for you." She said. "This come in black?"

Kaine cursed the entire ride. By the time he and the blue girl made it to the roof access, he had used just about every name there was. Half towards her, the other half to the apparently terrible night he was having. He glared over at the others on the rooftop a moment before trying to wrestle his shirt free. He didn't recognize any of these kids. And he certainly wasn't in the mood to play good guy bad guy with them. The booze he had just downed earlier probably didn't help his mood, but he HAD been feeling better.

Maria: Dont worry, we can take em!
Pyro-Man: Maria no! their just innocent citizens, poor stupid new yorker and even poorer stupider tourist !! they not know what they do!
* the new yorkers attack. Pyro-Man dose his best to hold them off, he jogs away from them, he throws Pizza and Buffalo wings at them, he even get in to a taxi and acts rude with a Brooklyn accent. All of that failed, and Pyro-Man finds him self surrounded on all ends*
Maria: dude!! this is not working! were surrounded!?
Pyro-Man: dammit what do we do!! Steel Resolution!!
*Pyro-Man is completely overrun by the brainwashed new yorkers*
Maria: with my last not breath i curse... Brett Ratner!!!
*Pyro-Man's hand disappears in the crowd*

Shuma gorath watched in sadistic delight as his mind slaves attacked the heroes and failed to stop them easily.
-voice in pyro mans head- Find the iron bound books its the only way shuma gorath can enter or be banished once more from this world. fighting traditionally will not defeat him he is an invincible and mighty embodiment of sin and hate that has existed before christ himself-

Pyro-Man: when we were under that crowd getting s**t stomped. you said something about iron bound books to defeat Shuma Gorath.

Maria: i dont know where you heard that, but it sounds magical...who do we know who knows a lot about magic?

Maria: no.. he's dead i think. Crime Master?!
Pyro-Man: who the hell is that? What about Doc Ock
Maria: i think he is still locked up in Rykers. *gasp* what about the Green Goblin!? you know Norman Osborn!?
Pyro-Man: hmmmmm maybe... i was thinking the Kingpin,... Wilson Fisk he wants to control New York too.
Maria: damnit this is not the time for reference drops! why not ask Strange if he can help us track the books.

Maria: think about it,everything leaves a trail, whether it be cosmic or magical,where ever Shuma Gorath came from, we might be able to track the residual magical energy back to the source... which will probably be where our culprit is. GOD I LOVE THE INTERNET!!

Spider-Man hopped up and jumped over to Nocturne as she emerged with her new friend. Landing in a squatting position on top of the roof access to the building, Miles peered at the man in the fedora. "Yeah! Questions!" Spidey reinforced, crawling down the roof access. He came face to face with the man, who was now inches away from Spidey.
"Like what's your favorite colors?!" He yelled sarcastically and interrogatively, gripping the man's cheeks and chin with his hand. "And you better say black and red!"

Nocturne was about to explain a few things to Kaine... until she had caught the sight of a .... humongous one eyed tentacle being taking up the night sky. However, just as soon as that thing was noticed, it vanished within a blink of her glowing yellow eyes. She blinked hard for a few seconds. When no further appearance of the tentacled horror in New York's skyline was present, Talia shook the cobwebs clear of her head, Did I just get a contact buzz, while I was in the bar? Great, next I'll be seeing pink elephants....After spending a few moments shaking her face back and forth, Talia returned her attention to 'Mr. Fedora', "Listen, I know you know where different 'special' operatives for Kingpin hang their hat. I'm looking for one of them; because, she'll know where a guy I'm looking for is. I need to talk to this pale goth thief with blood red hair. And I know that you know, where I can find her. If you don't try to mess with me and tell me what I need to know to find her, you can return to your binge drinking."

Kain made a bit of a face at that. "Tch.... I know who you're talking about. The last time I seen her she was getting hot and heavy with her boyfriend in a taxi. With me sitting right beside them mind you." he growled. "And that's about all I remember before the cab flipped and I woke up in the hospital with a concussion and several broken bones. There's not much I can tell ya. She hasn't reported for more work or even shown up for her last group of jobs."

She heard the sound of the safety being clicked off from a gun and looked at Miles. "We better go and help her out."She said as she used her powers to create a drill and create a hole big enough to get her and Miles through it one by one. She flew down the hole and was relieved as she saw Nocturne was just fine,but as she heard Kaines word she murmured something under her breath. "This come in black?"
