well in a sense yes,
marsh attacks >> pie takes it >> pie attacks >> someone else takes the blow etc. >> until it comes back to marsh again xD

pie, I don't know how to animate bodies either but I use image ready, it came with my photoshop 7 xD
For marsh, I did a rough to figure out what the base would be. And it was his lower face, clothes, nose, mouth and ears. Did seperate layers for the scarf, hair, eyes and stars.
