@ Pottermore -- I'm really a Ravenpuff to a T, so I tied for Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff, and they let me pick. There are a lot of Ravenclaws! D< There are like 6500 in the other houses, but Ravenclaw has over 8000.

I believe it's because they want to suck as much money out of you as possible, because, what are you going to do about it anyway?

I like my school. Usually the professors try their best not to pick insanely expensive books, and when they do, they don't require you to buy it.

My professors don't seem to care. I think the book that's upsetting me the most is this paperback thing. It's not a workbook because everything's three hole punched but it's like workbook thickness. It's $120.80 and IT'S A GOVERNMENT BOOK. I have already spent close to $100 on other books and silgnuadsrg! I'm so frustrated.
@Free textbooks; Oh my some of them were bad. owo I traded with my friends though when we were checking them out so I got the decent ones. But even then..

Oh, all my books in highschool exept my Math-V (or was it IV?) were good. That one had a problem where pages didn'thold together.
Yeaaaah, 120$ is pretty damn expencive for a book. You can't get a used one of them online, could you?

I think the page's holding together was the least of the problems for some of the textbooks...
And my math book, is around $160. I almost cried when hearing that today. As far as getting them used, I've tried every website that I can think of as well as just randomly typing the ISBN number into Google and seeing what comes up.

Dear damn o-o. I know my school holds a "used text book" sale at the start of the year. If yours does it, you could still try to get one there.
