Xander the Nothing God, I remember getting the ******** instructional video that came with pokemon cards when the series first came out. Actually I think that tape would prolly be worth alot of money now. Atleast Pokemon DnD might be better than the ******** card game. My cousin almost choaked on those lil ******** counter shits. So, what were the point of those counters anyway?

They tell you how many 10's of damage you have.

I dunno, I think they were for when you level up your defence or something.
I played a bit when I was younger, before some kid in my grade got his precious Charizard holo stolen and they got banned.
I remember having some useless jinx or something and loading it up with counters so much I didn't have enough for any other Pokemon.
So we used coins.

Counters are for damage, but players nowadays use dice instead. They also have markers for special effects such as Burned and Poisoned.

I remember thinking it was the s**t back then. I still have a few tapes from the days of VHS but those things aren't archival so none of them work anymore.

Those cards cheat, it's not even illustrations anymore it's just pictures of 3D models. KB: eh, It's been like 12 years. Good to see you clinging to childhood though.

Yeah. I'm pretty immature for understanding basic instructions.
I mean, you'd think if they were for recording how much health you had and not how much damage you've taken they'd be "health counters" or HP and not... damage counters.
For counting damage.
